If the Israelites could be induced to rebel against God's laws, they would lose God's protection. The craft of the false prophet -- is to get people to disregard God's laws! And you thought an orgy was a bunch of hot chicks having sex, right? Nope.. Drunkenness unto false gods like Bacchus or any form of secret rites worship would be a Revelry and Orgy respectively. Now some point to Justin the Martyr as the person who did the first compromise, which I am not totally sure of. I think there may have been a slight compromise, which then may have paved the way to more compromise.. But I think the first true compromise that was on a large level would have been with Emporer Constantine who was no Christian but pretended to be so. With Justin the Martyr, he was before Constantine's time.. He lived about 100 to 150 AD.. Justin merely used some clever apologetics to avoid Christianity from being wiped out in Rome. In the process some think he compromised.. By pointing out how they worshiped on the day of the Sun as well (you can see a nudge of the elbow).. He was buttering up the then Emporer Titus of Rome. What about the Catholic Church? Is it leading people into Sun Worship? Its very ironic the meaning of "orgies". It means "Secret rites worship"..
