Nice (/ˈniːs/, French pronunciation: [nis]; Niçard Occitan: Niça [classical norm] or Nissa [nonstandard], Italian: Nizza or Nizza Marittima, Greek: Νίκαια, Latin: Nicaea) is the fifth most populous city in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse, and it is the capital of the Alpes Maritimes département. The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits, with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km2 (278 sq mi). Located in the Côte d'Azur area on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille. Nice is about 8 miles (13 km) from the principality of Monaco, and its airport is a gateway to the principality as well.
The city is called Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the title of the unofficial anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912.

Pachelbel's Canon
Pachelbel's Canon is the name commonly given to a canon by the German Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel in his Canon and Gigue for 3 violins and basso continuo (German: Kanon und Gigue für 3 Violinen mit Generalbaß) (PWC 37, T. 337, PC 358), sometimes referred to as Canon and Gigue in D or simply Canon in D. Neither the date nor the circumstances of its composition are known, and the oldest surviving manuscript copy of the piece dates from the 19th century.
Pachelbel's Canon, like Pachelbel's other works, although popular during his lifetime, soon went out of style, and remained in obscurity for centuries thereafter. A 1968 arrangement and recording of it by the Jean-François Paillard chamber orchestra became unexpectedly popular over the next decade, and in the 1970s the piece began to be recorded by many ensembles; by the early 1980s its presence as background music was deemed inescapable. From the 1970s to the early 2000s, elements of the piece, especially its chord progression, were used in a variety of pop music songs. Since the 1980s, it has also been used frequently in weddings and funeral ceremonies in the Western world.

Nice is the Côte d'Azur's fascinating and colorful city located on the curve of Angel Bay, a metropolis that has lost little of its turn of the century charm. It is also a place of contrast with all the pulsating life of an international city mixed with the rich Mediterranean flair of the south.
The magnificent Promenade Des Anglais was named after the resort's former large contingent of English visitors and was built during the 19th century.
The historical centre of the city, Vielle Ville, has become the home of Arabian immigrants, thus couscous features prominently on the menu. The old fish market is the most beautiful on the entire Côte d'Azur and its traditional displays of seafood are a feast to the eye.
The Russian Tsars also spent much time in Nice and around 1900, a Russian Orthodox Church was built. With its six eye-catching onion-shaped domes, it was designed by the Russian architect, Preobrajensky, and is the most beautiful example of its kind in the western hemisphere. The foundations of the building were designed in the shape of a Greek crucifix and the interior features a remarkable collection of Russian icons.
A good way to visit numerous places of interest is by taking a journey on a small sightseeing train known as the Azur Express.
Just outside Nice, there are some remarkable Roman ruins and a villa on the excavated site contains the Matisse Museum that features each of the famous artist's sculptures.
Nice is more than 'nice' -- joie de vivre never had it so good!

And should you get bored, just a short train trip away you can also visit Monte Carlo (Monaco). The beaches are crystal blue and the city looks like a carbon copy of Paris (on a smaller scale). Actually we like Nice much more than Paris. Monaco, meh... we are not too sure yet. It may take another couple of trips.

The multi-use stadium in Nice, France is used mostly for soccer matches of host team OGC Nice and also for occasional home matches of rugby union club Toulon. The stadium has a capacity of 35,624 people but it is capable of accommodating up to 45,000 spectators for concerts, operas and large-scale shows. The stadium's opening was on 22 September 2013. The stadium also houses the Musee National de Sport a collection of greatest sporting exploits from each era displayed through an innovative and immersive indoor display. See the football used in the World Cup 1998 final, Marcel Cerdan's gloves, Jean-Claude Killy's skis, Yannick Noah's racket and the Olympic torches. The exhibition includes atmospheric sound installations, film projections and interactive challenges included an F1 car to test your driving skills.
Getting to Nice
Nice airport, the gateway to the Cote d'Azur, is the second busiest in France after Paris in terms of traffic.
High-speed and express trains (TGV and Corail) connect Nice and the Cote d'Azur to the rest of France and major European cities. The TGV Méditerranée completes the journey from Paris to Nice in approx. 5 hours 30 minutes, arriving in the heart of Nice. The city has three railway stations, from west to east: Saint-Agustin, Nice Ville and Riquier.
The port, overlooked by Château de Nice, is France's second busiest destination for cruise ships. Ferries also connect Nice to Corsica.

Getting to Nice
Nice airport, the gateway to the Cote d'Azur, is the second busiest in France after Paris in terms of traffic.
High-speed and express trains (TGV and Corail) connect Nice and the Cote d'Azur to the rest of France and major European cities. The TGV Méditerranée completes the journey from Paris to Nice in approx. 5 hours 30 minutes, arriving in the heart of Nice. The city has three railway stations, from west to east: Saint-Agustin, Nice Ville and Riquier.
The port, overlooked by Château de Nice, is France's second busiest destination for cruise ships. Ferries also connect Nice to Corsica.

This MAP focuses on Snowfur singing a soulful serenade to her sister from afterlife as she reflects on the mistakes they have both made in the past.
This is a PRETTY long MAP with 33 parts that are between 8-12 seconds each. Like this is going to be intense. I'm very excited to get lots of people involved to make something we can all be proud of but it will require a lot of collaboration and co-operation from everyone involved. Because of this I'm going to have to be pretty strict with deadlines simply because otherwise this will never get done. I apologize in advance and I hope you understand. Additionally, as it has so many parts, I will be looking for animators that are dependable and understand artistic principles such a lighting. In this case, as the song is so beautiful and somewhat slow-paced, artstyle is more important than animation (although it would be nice if it could be well animated too but, y'know.)

MAP:
This MAP focuses on Snowfur singing a soulful serenade to her sister from afterlife as she reflects on the mistakes they have both made in the past.
This is a PRETTY long MAP with 33 parts that are between 8-12 seconds each. Like this is going to be intense. I'm very excited to get lots of people involved to make something we can all be proud of but it will require a lot of collaboration and co-operation from everyone involved. Because of this I'm going to have to be pretty strict with deadlines simply because otherwise this will never get done. I apologize in advance and I hope you understand. Additionally, as it has so many parts, I will be looking for animators that are dependable and understand artistic principles such a lighting. In this case, as the song is so beautiful and somewhat slow-paced, artstyle is more important than animation (although it would be nice if it could be well animated too but, y'know.)

I'm forced to be referring to stock Android, no mods for comparison's sake. This is already an exercise in folly.

This Lesson is for Advanced Guitar Players. You will need to have a dip knowledge about boxes and Dorian Scale. The Backing track is a static C minor Funk-Rock Sound perfect for this kind of phrasing.
Don' t try to learn all the four licks at the same time. Each lick will take time. Practice slow at the beginning, I know they sound strange when played slow, but it's important that you reach the right coordination between right and left hand.

Let's play Gnomoria #26 - Gearing up the military
We have fearless enemies in our lands. Well armed enemies and it's up to us to defend the realm. Terrorhand is advancing aswell though, albeit at a slow pace, right now we're at the point that we are starting to gear up our military. A nice shield for our general, a hammer, we're getting somewhere and the greenskins know it too. We opened the gates, or rather we breached the military compound but they're scared now. Rightfully so, but it is rather inconvenient. We got the Stern Wanderers only for our defences so I can't send them out there to hunt down the goblins. But defending the kingdom they will, and their fellow gnomes too. We we're trying to lure in gnomads when we got ambushed. Maybe it was tactics from the greenskins. Making us feel safe in our fortress and then sneaking up on u...

We have fearless enemies in our lands. Well armed enemies and it's up to us to defend the realm. Terrorhand is advancing aswell though, albeit at a slow pace, right now we're at the point that we are starting to gear up our military. A nice shield for our general, a hammer, we're getting somewhere and the greenskins know it too.

Terrorhand is advancing aswell though, albeit at a slow pace, right now we're at the point that we are starting to gear up our military. A nice shield for our general, a hammer, we're getting somewhere and the greenskins know it too.
We opened the gates, or rather we breached the military compound but they're scared now. Rightfully so, but it is rather inconvenient. We got the Stern Wanderers only for our defences so I can't send them out there to hunt down the goblins. But defending the kingdom they will, and their fellow gnomes too.
We we're trying to lure in gnomads when we got ambushed. Maybe it was tactics from the greenskins. Making us feel safe in our fortress and then sneaking up on us. It sure has worked as they ganged up on Infectum. Will he make it though or will he be the second casualty of Terrorhand? That is up to our other gnomes...
