Hamilton, Ontario: This is How We Welcome You: “Try Hamilton” tries fucking itself

Yesterday, a group of scumbags affiliated with local real estate companies organized a tour of Hamilton for a group of investors, with the goal of drawing in capital from outside the city. This project is called Try Hamilton and they describe their goals as a chance for entrepreneurs and developers to envision ‘city-changing’ possibilities. Shamelessly pro-gentrification, they talk about our neighbourhoods as blank slates, gloat about the money to be made if an area can be successfully ‘converted’ to a different kind of resident. Of course, for most of us, their financial wet dreams appear in our lives as violence, hunger, or eviction – and so of course we have to fight back against them.

When the group of investors emerged from the Ti-Cats stadium, fresh off the inspiring words of the city’s mayor, and tried to board buses, they were met by a crowd of forty angry people who encouraged them to, rather than try Hamilton, try fucking themselves. With signs reading, “Gentrification is disgusting, you rich fucks are disgusting”, “who gets off on evicting families?” and “Fuck you for trying”, we met them with a wall of rage that showed them what the class war their investments drive can mean.

Transmetropolitan Review

The following video explains one of the most serious cases of infiltration and entrapment in the Pacific Northwest. Not only did every local law enforcement agency conspire against the anarchist movement, but also the Pentagon and the FBI (to name only a few). While this local history surfaces from time to time, it is always on the verge of falling out of common memory. To prevent this from occurring, we are releasing this short video.

From MTL Counter-info

In CamOver, you play a group of humans confronted with an invasion of cameras in a gentrified neighborhood. The struggle against the cameras is important, but your own survival is essential! To win you must form teams with friends in your neighborhoods and destroy as many cameras as possible. The game takes place throughout the summer. At the end, the neighborhood with the most points wins the game.

Let the vandalism begin!
Let’s make our summer nights magical and vibrant!

On Sunday 8 May 2016, while the government of SYRIZA & ANEL inside the greek parliament were attacking what little has been left in the dignity of the people in the country to survive, by voting in favor of raising taxes whilst cutting pensions, the greek riot police outside the parliament in Syntagma, were attacking those that gathered for hours to protest the even newer new, new, new, new, new austerity measures, a dire story that has been taking place for the last 7 years in Greece (since 2009).

“I have never understood how one can love one’s neighbor.”

We claim responsibility in an anti-political manner for the explosive attack on the Via Ponzio Cominio at the doorway of a building.

The attack lamentably (for us anyway) produced only property damage.

From Minneapolis To Seattle: Attack Capitalism On All Fronts

1On May 1st, 2016 people from around the world commemorated International Workers and Immigrants Rights Day. What began as an explosion of violent rebellion in an industrial district of Chicago in response to police killing striking workers fighting for the 8 hour work day has become an international holiday where the fires of Haymarket are reignited time and time again. In Seattle, the demonstrations took a radical turn that has become almost ritualistic in that city. Anarchists clashed with police and bravely fought back against pepper spray and concussion grenades with rocks, bottles, fireworks, and police even allege that molotov cocktails were used. 9 arrests were made and 5 police were injured. In Chicago 19 protesters were arrested after a noise demo in front of the Cook County Correctional Facility. Here in Minneapolis, we know about state repression. Movements such as AIM, Black Lives Matter, the IWW, and the RNC Welcoming Committee have all experienced state repression that attempting to squash these movements for liberation from capitalism. Trust us when we say that we have no love for the police here, especially after the ruthless killing of Jamar Clark. In response to this police repression, a highway overpass and retention wall were redecorated with antagonist slogans:
