Heartbreaker (Teriyaki Boyz song)

"HeartBreaker" is the debut single released by the group Teriyaki Boyz and is included within the group's debut album, Beef or Chicken. The single was only released in the U.K. market. The song was produced by the electronic duo Daft Punk and contains a sample of the duo's own song, "Human After All".

Music video

The music video for "HeartBreaker" parodies old sci-fi films, as it commences with a low-budget flying saucer hovering through the air and abducting a cow. The scene then cuts to inside the saucer, where the Teriyaki Boyz materialize and begin performing, with Nigo in the center on the turntable. Throughout the song, each of the Teriyaki Boyz are introduced one by one using caption for their individual verses and don a variety of Bape outfits. As they perform, random objects appear within the room, including a bottle of champagne, a plastic chicken, the aforementioned cow, and car and young woman, both wearing Bape-style camouflage. The video also parodies rockabilly music, having certain scenes feature the group playing and swinging to guitars while stereotypically dressed in matching suits and dark sunglasses. The music video concludes with the flying saucer lifting off and disappearing into the night sky.

Heartbreaker (Pat Benatar song)

"Heartbreaker" is a song by American singer Pat Benatar. Released in 1979 as the third single from her debut studio album In the Heat of the Night. Written and composed by Geoff Gill and Cliff Wade, the song had first been recorded by English singer Jenny Darren on her 1978 album "Queen of Fools" and Benatar made adjustments in the original lyrics as such references as "A to Zed" and "moonraker" which would have likely confused American listeners. "Heartbreaker" proved to be Benatar's breakthrough single, reaching #23 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and #19 on the Cash Box Top 100. In Canada, the song peaked at number 16.

Although "Heartbreaker" is only Benatar's tenth highest-charting US single, it spent four and a half months on the U.S. charts, with only three of her singles surpassing that amount of time.

The song is featured as downloadable content for the music video game series Rock Band, and is a playable song for the game Guitar Hero World Tour. The song is also a playable song for the game Karaoke Revolution: Presents American Idol, as well as downloadable content for its sequel, American Idol Encore. Alvin and the Chipmunks covered the song for their 1982 album Chipmunk Rock. Former American Idol finalist Allison Iraheta regularly covers the song as part of her set on the Glam Nation Tour. This song was also performed by Benatar and her band in the Charmed episode "Lucky Charmed."

Heartbreaker (2010 film)

Heartbreaker (French: L'Arnacœur) is a 2010 French romantic comedy film starring Romain Duris, Vanessa Paradis, Julie Ferrier, François Damiens and Andrew Lincoln.

Plot

The bulk of the story takes place in Monaco. Charming attractive Alex (Romain Duris), his sister Mélanie (Julie Ferrier), and her husband Marc (François Damiens), operate a unique business for concerned third-party clients—breaking up relationships, but only where the woman is "not knowingly unhappy." The trio concoct elaborate, custom, and sometimes expensive ruses to deceive the women. After each woman has fallen for his act, Alex tells her she has made him come alive again, but that it is too late for him. The women presumably leave their relationships to seek men who make them feel the way Alex has.

They are hired by a wealthy man (Jacques Frantz), who is a florist and gangster, to prevent the wedding of his daughter Juliette (Vanessa Paradis) to a wealthy Englishman of whom he does not approve, Jonathan (Andrew Lincoln). The main problem is that they only have ten days to do so before the wedding. The task is further complicated because, after doing a lot of research, the couple appear to be truly in love and absolutely perfect for each other. They also could not find the usual "flaws" in the couple that they use to cause break-ups. So, at first, Alex turns down the job, but, massively in debt to a loan shark through his own lavish spending on the business, he is pressured into putting aside his honourable principles to complete the seemingly impossible task with only five days until the wedding.

Harmony

In music, harmony is the use of simultaneous pitches (tones, notes), or chords. The study of harmony involves chords and their construction and chord progressions and the principles of connection that govern them. Harmony is often said to refer to the "vertical" aspect of music, as distinguished from melodic line, or the "horizontal" aspect.Counterpoint, which refers to the interweaving of melodic lines, and polyphony, which refers to the relationship of separate independent voices, are thus sometimes distinguished from harmony.

Harmonization usually sounds pleasant to the ear when there is a balance between the consonant and dissonant sounds. In simple words, that occurs when there is a balance between "tense" and "relaxed" moments.

Harmony (Three Dog Night album)

Harmony is the seventh album by American rock band Three Dog Night, released in 1971 (see 1971 in music). The album featured two Top 10 hits: a cover version of Paul Williams' "An Old Fashioned Love Song" (U.S. #4) and Hoyt Axton's "Never Been to Spain" (U.S. #5).

Harmony (2015 film)

Harmony (ハーモニー, Hāmonī) is a 2015 Japanese animated science fiction film directed by Michael Arias, animated by Studio 4°C and based the novel of the same name by Project Itoh. The film was released on November 13, 2015. Two other anime films based on novels by the same author are to be released: The Empire of Corpses was released on October 2, 2015 and Genocidal Organ, currently delayed without a release date.
