Michelle (Skins series 1)

"Michelle" is the seventh episode of the first series of the British teen drama Skins. It was written by Bryan Elsley and directed by Minkie Spiro It premiered on E4 on 8 March 2007. It is told from the point of view of main character Michelle Richardson.

Plot

Michelle angrily watches Tony and Maxxie hang out together on the Green as if none of the events of the previous episode happened. She breaks up with Tony for not confessing to cheating on her. Jal attempts to comfort her and Maxxie attempts to apologize, but Michelle insists on being alone. Despite their huge argument, Tony is confident that Michelle will eventually forgive him.

Later, Angie attempts to avoid Chris by hiding in the broom cupboard where she finds Michelle, drunk on vodka. The two have coffee and Michelle confides in her about her woes. Chris finds them and Angie agrees to give them both a ride home. After dropping off Michelle, Angie attempts to end her affair with Chris but they end up having sex in her car. At Michelle's home, there is little sympathy for her breakup--her mother, Anna, dismisses her problems while her step-father, Malcolm, criticizes Michelle.

The Cryonic Woman

"The Cryonic Woman" is the nineteenth and final episode of the second production season of Futurama. It originally aired in North America on December 3, 2000, as the third episode in the third broadcast season. The plot incorporates a cryonics theme. Sarah Silverman does the voice of Fry's on and off girlfriend Michelle (replacing Kath Soucie, who voiced the character in Space Pilot 3000).

Plot

In an attempt to entertain themselves, Fry and Bender borrow the Planet Express Ship. Unfortunately, the ship is anchored to the building using the unbreakable diamond tether that was first mentioned in "The Deep South". As the ship is piloted on a round-the-world joyride, the building is dragged behind it, smashing into a number of landmarks, including the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Great Wall of China. Professor Farnsworth has Hermes fire Fry and Bender for taking the ship, and fires Leela as well for leaving the keys in the ship knowing of their stupidity.

Michelle (name)

Michelle is a given name, originally the French feminine form of Michel, from the Hebrew name Michael meaning "Who is like God?". It is now extensively used in English-speaking as well as French-speaking countries. It is also a surname.

FEAT (album)

FEAT (pronounced "F-E-A-T") is the first studio album by Chicago-based record production duo The Hood Internet. It was released on Decon on October 2, 2012. The album features guest appearances from A.C. Newman, Cadence Weapon, and Class Actress, among others. Music videos were created for "Won't Fuck Us Over", "One for the Record Books", and "More Fun".

The remix album, FEAT Remixes, was released on December 18, 2012.

At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 54% based on 6 reviews, indicating "mixed or average reviews".

Think (About It)

"Think (About It)" is a funk song recorded by Lyn Collins and released as a single on James Brown's People Records in 1972. The recording was produced by Brown (who also wrote the song) and features instrumental backing from his band The J.B.'s. It was the title track of Collins' 1972 debut album.

Sampling

Along with "Funky Drummer" and "Funky President," "Think (About It)" is one of the most frequently sampled James Brown productions, having been used on tracks by dozens of hip hop and dance music artists. The song appeared on the 16th volume of the Ultimate Breaks and Beats compilation series in 1986, shortly before the release of the E-mu SP-1200 sampler in 1987. This resulted in "Think" being sampled heavily in the ensuing years. Both the song's main rhythmic groove and a vocal passage known as the Yeah! Woo! break have been used as samples.

Perhaps the first song to sample "Think" was "Go On Girl" by Roxanne Shante in 1987 (produced by Marley Marl) followed by "My Groove Gets Better" from her album "Bad Sister." A few months later, the same 4-bar loop of "Yeah! Woo!" appeared as the basis for Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock's "It Takes Two."

Think (Brenda Lee song)

"Think" is a song written by Peggy Whittington and performed by Brenda Lee. The song reached #4 on the adult contemporary chart, #25 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #26 in the UK in 1964. It also reached #62 in Australia. The song is featured on her 1965 album, Too Many Rivers.

The single's B-side, "The Waiting Game", reached #62 in Australia #101 on the Billboard chart.
