China Develops Free Electron Laser Device Producing World's Brightest EUV Light
Chinese scientists have succeeded in developing a free electron laser facility that can generate the world's brightest extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light.
The facility in Dalian, a coastal city in northeast China's Liaoning Province, generated 140 trillion photons per laser pulse in one picosecond, according to an announcement on Suday.
The Dalian Coherent Light Source (DCLS) facility was jointly developed by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), with a total investment of about 140 million yuan (about 20 million U.S. dollars).
The flashes of light is applicable in a number of new areas of the microscopic world.
"The brighter the light source, the more clearly we see the physical world, including the microscopic world. With a shorter pulse duration, we can see the ultrafast process of molecule in chemical or physical reactions," said Yang Xueming, a CAS academician and deputy director of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics.
Scientists say the DCLS will have wide applications in the study of basic energy science, chemistry, physics and atmospheric sciences. Among all the applications, research on the formation and growth mechanism of haze is likely to gain the most attention in China.
The facility will also be used to study the chemical mechanism of burning, which will help improve the efficiency of energy utilization and reduce pollutants emissions.
It is also expected to play an important role in developing the next generation of semiconductor chips as well as investigating the structure and functions of biomolecules.
"All the practical applications at present, especially materials and equipment, when traced to the essence, are the basic laws governing the motion of atoms, molecules and electrons. The free electron laser is just such a powerful tool that can be used to master the law of the substance's internal structure. This is an important foundation for us to make breakthroughs in the frontier science and technology," said Zhao Zhentang, director of Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics under CAS.
Ninety percent of the DCLS devices were independently developed in China, and its construction has laid the foundation for developing the next generation free electron laser.

New Device are a UK-based hard rock band, established in late 2007. The band's style is rooted in classic rock of the 1980s, influenced by bands such as: Aerosmith, Skid Row, Metallica and Guns N' Roses. They first gained a modicum of fame via their Myspace site, when they uploaded early demos which were successfully received by fans.
Takin' Over
New Device began the recording process for their debut album "Takin' Over" in June 2008, with Ryan Richards of Funeral for a Friend handling drum duties. The album was released on Powerage Records on 20 July 2009. The band's debut single was the album's title track, "Takin' Over". Second single "In The Fading Light" was featured on the soundtrack for the British movie "Fish Tank". The band played at the Download Festival in 2009 and at the Sonisphere Festival in the same year.
The band appeared in Kerrang! magazine in their Introducing... section in October 2009. They have also appeared in Classic Rock magazine, Rock Sound magazine and Big Cheese magazine. New Device were nominated for "Best New Band" in the 2009 Classic Rock Awards; however, Sammy Hagar, Mike Anthony, Chad Smith and Joe Satriani's supergroup Chickenfoot went on to win the award.

The Fading
The Fading is an Israeli based melodic death/thrash metal band, founded in 2000 under the name Excessum. The band released two EPs before winning the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle contest, earning them a contract with Wacken Records, where they released their debut album In Sin We'll Find Salvation on August 3, 2009.
Band history
The band started writing materials and playing together in 2000 by vocalist Ilia Badrov and guitarist Boris Aranovich. For several years, the lineup was in constant flux while the band was looking for the right musicians for them. Finally Boris recruited his younger brother Arie Aranovich (then only 14 years old). He has joined as the lead guitarist, while Itamar Cohen joined on drums and Maor Bitton on the bass. Boris was replaced by Leon Notik (previously in Arafel) on the guitars after 2002. After a while, Itamar could not continue with the band and Nadav Luzia took his place for a while. Not after long, Nadav and Maor were both replaced by drummer Shaked Furman and bassist Elad Manor.

The facility in Dalian, a coastal city in northeast China's Liaoning Province, generated 140 trillion photons per laser pulse in one picosecond, according to an announcement on Suday. The Dalian Coherent Light Source (DCLS) facility was jointly developed by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), with a total investment of about 140 million yuan (about 20 million U.S. dollars). The flashes of light is applicable in a number of new areas of the microscopic world. "The brighter the light source, the more clearly we see the physical world, including the microscopic world. With a shorter pulse duration, we can see the ultrafast process of molecule in chemical or physical reactions," said Yang Xueming, a CAS academician and deputy director of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics. Scientists say the DCLS will have wide applications in the study of basic energy science, chemistry, physics and atmospheric sciences. Among all the applications, research on the formation and growth mechanism of haze is likely to gain the most attention in China. The facility will also be used to study the chemical mechanism of burning, which will help improve the efficiency of energy utilization and reduce pollutants emissions. It is also expected to play an important role in developing the next generation of semiconductor chips as well as investigating the structure and functions of biomolecules. "All the practical applications at present, especially materials and equipment, when traced to the essence, are the basic laws governing the motion of atoms, molecules and electrons. The free electron laser is just such a powerful tool that can be used to master the law of the substance's internal structure. This is an important foundation for us to make breakthroughs in the frontier science and technology," said Zhao Zhentang, director of Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics under CAS. My improved free energy generator demonstrated on a 12Volt / 5 Watt festoon car light bulb. Combined with 2 neodymium magnets, it has enough power to light it up. That's great stuff! The first model of my solid state energy device had only one magnet and it wouldn't give enough power to light it up like this. It worked great on small motors and LED's though, they don't need as much energy. The second kidney shaped magnet is turned 180 degrees around, opposing the other magnet. It's made of 2 very strong neodymium magnets and a home made coil.
The magnet comes from an old harddrive. These are véry strong and easy to get!

China Develops Free Electron Laser Device Producing World's Brightest EUV Light
Chinese scientists have succeeded in developing a free electron laser facility that can generate the world's brightest extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light.
The facility in Dalian, a coastal city in northeast China's Liaoning Province, generated 140 trillion photons per laser pulse in one picosecond, according to an announcement on Suday.
The Dalian Coherent Light Source (DCLS) facility was jointly developed by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), with a total investment of about 140 million yuan (about 20 million U.S. dollars).
The flashes of light is applicable in a number of new areas of the microscopic world.
"The brighter the light source, the more clearly we see the physical world, including the microscopic world. With a shorter pulse duration, we can see the ultrafast process of molecule in chemical or physical reactions," said Yang Xueming, a CAS academician and deputy director of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics.
Scientists say the DCLS will have wide applications in the study of basic energy science, chemistry, physics and atmospheric sciences. Among all the applications, research on the formation and growth mechanism of haze is likely to gain the most attention in China.
The facility will also be used to study the chemical mechanism of burning, which will help improve the efficiency of energy utilization and reduce pollutants emissions.
It is also expected to play an important role in developing the next generation of semiconductor chips as well as investigating the structure and functions of biomolecules.
"All the practical applications at present, especially materials and equipment, when traced to the essence, are the basic laws governing the motion of atoms, molecules and electrons. The free electron laser is just such a powerful tool that can be used to master the law of the substance's internal structure. This is an important foundation for us to make breakthroughs in the frontier science and technology," said Zhao Zhentang, director of Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics under CAS.
Ninety percent of the DCLS devices were independently developed in China, and its construction has laid the foundation for developing the next generation free electron laser.

Here is another very requested video, my healthy skincare routine. I’ll be sharing my absolute skincare essentials and helpful tips to help skin be cleansed and nourished to the maximum.

My face felt firmer and I could feel my skincare products absorbing into my skin better. Impressed, I shared it with my viewers and a year later, they actually contacted me again and invited me to Singapore to host their launch of their new updated beauty device. I got to meet and ask the founder myself what makes this device different from the other light therapy devices I’ve tried since this one actually gave me results. She told me they invested more for higher quality LED technology. They also have more LED bulbs too. Now I’ve vlogged myself in the past using the device before but today, I demonstrate the updated device as part of my beauty routine. They now have 2 additional lights to target more skin concerns, blue light for antibacterial usage and treating acne prone skin and yellow light for skin brightening.

- Added dust particles falling from unstable Dirt and Sand.
- Added more wood types for fences and gates.
- Added a tweak-able brightness (gamma) setting to adjust the darkness of dark terrain.

- Enabled mipmaps on Android devices supporting GLES 3.0.

A time slip is a paranormal phenomenon in which a person, or group of people, seem to either travel through time via unknown means, or appear to briefly enter an alternate version of present reality via unknown means.
The host has had a number of documented 'time slips,' as well as movements through time. Here, he talks about some of his experiences to time expert Anthony Peake. Drawing on his extensive knowledge of physics, neurology and psychiatry, Peake explains his theories of how and why they happen.
In this wide-ranging conversation, the subject of the Fatima apparition comes up, and the host proceeds to explain that he knew a priest who had seen the 'dancing sun' along with 50,000 other people. He then tells us what this elderly priest said he actually saw--very different from what is commonly believed.

Apple will show off its next iPhones on September 9 at an event in San Francisco.
The event will be held exactly a year after the company introduced the iPhone 6 and its larger sibling, the 6 Plus. The two phones have become Apple's best-selling devices ever and have made Apple the most profitable public company in the world.
Invitations to the event were sent out Thursday, with a terse tease: "Hey Siri, give us a hint."
More than two-thirds of Apple's revenue now comes from the iPhone, making it essential for Apple to keep introducing devices consumers desire. While the company continues to sell millions of phones, the overall mobile market has slowed, raising worries that not even Apple is immune to the lackluster demand. At the same time, Apple has to find a way to get buyers interested in tablets again. Its quarterly iPad sales have declined year over year for the past six periods in a row. A bigger iPad, which would appeal to business users, could be a way to do that.
This year's iPhone launch is the "S" cycle, which means the devices likely won't feature new hardware designs but instead could include other tweaks -- for example, Siri, Apple's voice assistant, debuted with the iPhone 4S. The company is expected to add its ForceTouch technology to the new devices, allowing the iPhones to differentiate between hard and light taps on the display. Other tweaks could include a faster processor and camera, as well as more color options.

Apple's streaming-video box has gone three years without a refresh to a new generation -- meanwhile, Internet-delivered TV has grown bigger and more accessible than ever. In that span of time, Apple has thrown plenty of splashy events, and each one has come and gone without Apple TV getting serious time in the spotlight.
Apple also could use its September 9 event to show off its newest iPads, if a report from Buzzfeed is correct. That would mark a break from Apple's traditional strategy of holding separate events for its smartphones and tablets. Typically, the iPhone is announced in September, followed by iPad news in October. Lumping them together could indicate Apple doesn't have big changes in store for the devices -- though market watchers have been waiting for the company to introduce a new 12.9-inch "iPad Pro." The iPad Pro is a wildcard for the September event.
