Pure Running 8.8km Cavehill Challenge

Key information
- Distance 8.8k
- Location: Over the trails of Cave Hill Country Park, taking in views of Belfast Castle, Bellevue and McArts Fort.
- Start: Belfast Boy’s Model School, Ballysillan Road, North Belfast
- Number collection, changing, parking and showering facilities available at Belfast Boy’s Model School. Light refreshments will be available after the run
- This is a timed run but will be a personal challenge and participants are free to walk, jog, or run as they see fit.
- This can be a technical course and all participants should ensure that they have adequate footwear and clothing – off road shoes are recommended. It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure they are medically fit to take part.
Prizes
Prizes for top three men and women plus 1st over 40’s and over 50’s male and female.
Entry fee
- £10 affiliated £12 unaffiliated
- Minimum age limit is 16 years. Participants must be 16 or over on race day
Junior 2k race
There is also a 2k race for under-16’s, with a £3 entry fee
