FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/JoeJeremiah It's a new game where two synth players do battle using the power of synthiness to manipulate the pixels on a special game board!!! Or at least that's how I imagined it... It took me ages to make this. In fact, I started thinking about the idea months ago. I began with an idea that seemed far too big, for I didn't know how I was going to accomplish it. But in the end I got there and I'm pretty happy with the result... My favourite part about it is that everything apart from the keyboard and hands was drawn/made in Microsoft Word because I didn't know what else to use or how else to do it haha That is apart from some effects that I put on them in Final Cut. In this introductory video to music theory, we briefly cover the main parameters of musical sound VS. random noise namely Pitch, Amplitude, Timbre and Rhythm. The intent behind it is to prepare beginners to think in musical terms as far as musical sound goes, as we dive into future videos on the theorectical aspects of music and music composition. Only one other is known to exist and that one was owned by the late great synth genius Dave Wilson at the New England Synthesizer Museum! Im just learning what each function does so full capabilites and sounds are not shown obviously and is admittable a bit redundant- this is more or less emphasing the unique organ like settings of the tremolo vibrato and wah! This synth takes atleast an hour before it begins to properly function and does have occassional quirks and random inexplicable meanderings- to me it has a very u...
With the holiday season fast approaching, many children who don't know any better will receive their first ever Silvertone guitar. The guitars that now grace the shelves in Wal-Marts and Targets across the country were originated by Sears. Multi-instrumentalist and collector of interesting gear Mike Conroy talks about this Silvertone guitar and what he likes about it. Perhaps it's makeup is literally the most interesting thing about it.
A patch made by Alex showcasing the Resonance of the Pole Zero filter and the modulation capabilities of the Monolith using The Spectrum Oscillators as Modulation sources. The Ultra fold and ToolBox modules both played a part in affecting the modulation sources for a more chaotic and sporadic outcome in the sound.
