MARIJUANA loving pensioner Catherine Hiller says smoking a joint a day for the last fifty years has kept her looking young. The 68-year-old spends £100 per month on her decades long habit and estimates she’s puffed her way through around 40lbs worth. And she even uses it with her three grown up sons. But rather than being a lazy stoner Catherine is a published author who puts her success and youthful vitality down to her habit.

Earlier today Ann Crawford took home the £250,000 jackpot, sending her straight into an elite group of contestants who have 'spanked the banker'.
Ann, from Manchester, became the eighth person in the Channel 4's show 10-year history to win the top prize, in a game which nearly saw her leave empty-handed.
The 75-year-old bell-ringer, nicknamed Queen Ann amongst the contestants, refused a final offer from the Banker of £64,000, with only the 50p and £250,000 boxes left in play.
Deal or No Deal winner, well done Ann
Crawford also turned down the offer to swap her box - only to reveal she had the top prize throughout the game.
When the wily Banker tried to outsmart her by giving her the chance to buy Box 23 - which could see her double, quarter, add an extra £10,000 or lose all her winnings, she mixed up her words and replied: "Deal no", instead of "No deal."
The Banker then asked her the question again, to which she declined the offer, which would have picked the Nothing box and seen her lose the £250,000.

I like messing about, I like having a laugh. Life's too short, so if you can make someone laugh every day, you've cracked it. That hat actually is not mine. I had to borrow that off a friend of mine. And that was sliding down me head, that's why I'm laughing. I'm saying 'hurry up and take the photo, it's moving'. Lots of laughs, that's probably why I didn't get promoted. United nations medal, that's the only one I got. I never got my LS&GC; because I got a bit of a record. Bit of a naughty boy. And that photo is the wife. God bless her. Yeah, miss her. My ceremonial duties, they mean a lot to me. Because it reminds me of the days when I used to do it in the regular forces. And it's good, I like the uniformity of everything. Retirement's fantastic, as long as you keep active and don't sit about and forget about the world outside. Keep going, or find something to do all the time. Keep your mind active.
The edge between life and death was thin. But then I discovered discipline. I learnt to smile when I felt sad. I learnt to take the good and the bad. I learnt to care a great deal more for the world about me than before. I began to forget the 'me' and 'I' and join in life as it rolled by. This may not mean sheer ecstasy but it's better by far than 'I' and 'me'.

Ted Roberts is an Australian television screenwriter and supervising producer.
After completing his education at Marist Brothers College in Randwick, Roberts worked in advertising and sales promotion before commencing his career as a freelance writer for television and film
Ted Roberts began his career in television in the 1960s, writing early episodes of Skippy the Bush Kangaroo. The series was screened in over eighty countries and its theme tune, composed by Eric Jupp, is one of the best known and most recognisable Australian tunes. The long version (the B side on the record) has lyrics by Ted Roberts.
Ted Roberts' other television credits include Homicide (Seven Network - 1964-1976), Certain Women (ABC - 1973-1976), Rush (ABC - 1974-1976), Patrol Boat (ABC 1979-80), Water Rats (Nine Network - 1996-2001), A Country Practice, Blue Heelers, Mission Impossible, Star Trek.

The 75-year-old bell-ringer, nicknamed Queen Ann amongst the contestants, refused a final offer from the Banker of £64,000, with only the 50p and £250,000 boxes left in play.

Crawford also turned down the offer to swap her box - only to reveal she had the top prize throughout the game.
When the wily Banker tried to outsmart her by giving her the chance to buy Box 23 - which could see her double, quarter, add an extra £10,000 or lose all her winnings, she mixed up her words and replied: "Deal no", instead of "No deal."
The Banker then asked her the question again, to which she declined the offer, which would have picked the Nothing box and seen her lose the £250,000.

I like messing about, I like having a laugh. Life's too short, so if you can make someone laugh every day, you've cracked it. That hat actually is not mine. I had to borrow that off a friend of mine. And that was sliding down me head, that's why I'm laughing. I'm saying 'hurry up and take the photo, it's moving'. Lots of laughs, that's probably why I didn't get promoted. United nations medal, that's the only one I got. I never got my LS&GC; because I got a bit of a record. Bit of a naughty boy. And that photo is the wife. God bless her. Yeah, miss her. My ceremonial duties, they mean a lot to me. Because it reminds me of the days when I used to do it in the regular forces. And it's good, I like the uniformity of everything. Retirement's fantastic, as long as you keep active and don't sit about and forget about the world outside. Keep going, or find something to do all the time. Keep your mind active.
The edge between life and death was thin. But then I discovered discipline. I learnt to smile when I felt sad. I learnt to take the good and the bad. I learnt to care a great deal more for the world about me than before. I began to forget the 'me' and 'I' and join in life as it rolled by. This may not mean sheer ecstasy but it's better by far than 'I' and 'me'.
