Lalbagh or Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, meaning The Red Garden in English, is a well known botanical garden in southern Bangalore, India. The garden was originally commissioned by Hyder Ali, the ruler of Mysore, and later finished by his son Tipu Sultan. It has a famous glass house which hosts two annual flower shows (January 26th & August 15th). Lalbagh houses India's largest collection of tropical plants, has a lake, and is one of the main tourist attractions in Bangalore. Lal Bagh is also home to a few species of birds. The commonly sighted birds include Myna, parakeets, crows, Brahmini Kite, Pond Heron, Common Egret, Purple Moor Hen etc.
Hyder Ali commissioned the building of this garden in 1760 but his son, Tipu Sultan, completed it. Hyder Ali decided to create this garden on the lines of the Mughal Gardens that were gaining popularity during his time. Hyder Ali laid out these famous botanical gardens and his son added horticultural wealth to them by importing trees and plants from several countries. Hyder Ali deployed people from Thigala community who were extremely good in gardening. The Lalbagh gardens were commissioned by the 18th century and over the years it acquired India's first lawn-clock and the subcontinent's largest collection of rare plants.

(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) LALBAG FORT: Lalbagh Fort (also Fort Aurangabad) is an incomplete 17th century Mughal fort complex that stands proudly before the Buriganga River in the southwestern part of Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1] The construction was started in 1678 AD by Mughal Subahdar Muhammad Azam Shah who was son of Emperor Aurangzeb and later emperor himself. His successor, Shaista Khan, did not continue the work, though he stayed in Dhaka up to 1688. STORIES: From the time of construction till date, various myths have revolved around the fort.
Ganapti Visarjan at Girgao mumbai 2016.
I give you stars and sunshine
A rainbow at your feet each time you rise
So dry your eyes
The house of yesterday is crumblin' at my feet
But I don't mind, I had my time
I am but yesterday
And you my child, tomorrow
There's nothing I can give you
For you have more than me
You are the truth within your youth
I watch you dance and playing
The little prince of all that you survey
Each night, each day
I am the good old days,
And you my child, tomorrow
If I have any future
It is within your eyes
Each time you smile
My child, my child
The hand of life will rock you
I brought you forth
And then my task was through
I give to you
This wondrous view
I am but yesterday
And you my child, tomorrow
And you my child, tomorrow
And you my child, tomorrow
