Die Thriller-Autorin Catherine Shepherd (Künstlername) wurde 1972 geboren und lebt mit ihrer Familie in Zons am Rhein. Catherine Shepherd hat Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Universität Gießen studiert und nach Ihrem Abschluss als Diplom-Ökonomin in einer Düsseldorfer Bank gearbeitet. Catherine Shepherd`s Thriller haben sich mittlerweile über 800.000 mal verkauft.
Ihren ersten Bestseller-Thriller veröffentlichte sie im April 2012. Als E-Book erreichte "Der Puzzlemörder von Zons" bereits nach kurzer Zeit die Nr. 1 der deutschen Amazon Bestsellerliste. Ihr zweiter Kriminalroman "Der Sichelmörder von Zons" folgte im März 2013. Beide Bücher gehörten zu den Jahresbestsellern 2012 und 2013. Am 01.12.2013 erschien ihr drittes Buch mit dem Titel "Kalter Zwilling". Der Thriller erreichte ebenfalls die Nr. 1 der Kindle Charts und gewann Platz Nr. 2 des Indie-Autoren-Preises 2014 auf der Leipziger Buchmesse. Der vierte Thriller "Auf den Flügeln der Angst" folgte im August 2014 und Band 5 "Tiefschwarze Melodie" (Jahresbestseller 2015) am 01.05.2015.
Im November 2015 wurde der erste Band einer neuen Reihe um die Berliner Spezialermittlerin Laura Kern veröffentlicht. Der Titel "Krähenmutter" war wochenlang Nr. 1 der Kindle Bestseller Charts. Der Titel erscheint im Herbst 2016 im PIPER Verlag.

Catherine Shepherd
Catherine Margaret Shepherd (born 1975) is an English actress and writer, with a career spanning radio, theatre, film and television.
Shepherd was born in Hammersmith, London, England. She is the daughter of well-known actor Jack Shepherd, who is perhaps most famous for having played Charles Wycliffe in the HTV television series Wycliffe. She was educated in South London at the James Allen's Girls' School.
A prolific writer, having co-written several plays performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Shepherd's stage play Cats and Monkeys has been produced as a BBC Radio 4 Afternoon Play, with a cast featuring Anna Carteret, Jack Shepherd and the author.
She was a commissioned writer on the comedy sketch show Party Piece (produced by Objective and shown on E4) and also wrote on the BBC Radio 4 show Concrete Cow. Shepherd co-wrote Your Whole Life, which won a Best of the Sunday Lizard award at the Traverse Theatre.
In 2004, Shepherd appeared in an episode of Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show in the episode University Challenge. She reprised her role in the final season in 2015.

BBC World News is the BBC's international news and current affairs television channel. It was launched on 11 March 1991, after two weeks of real-time pilots, initially as a half-hour bulletin once a day at 19:00 GMT. The programme editor was Johan "John" Ramsland from World Service Radio News with John Exelby from domestic BBC TV News as his managing editor. The original picture editing team consisted of Bob Scholes, Peter Hodge and Mike Casey.

Shepherd
A shepherd /ˈʃɛpərd/ or sheepherder is a person who tends, herds, feeds, or guards herds of sheep. The word stems from an amalgam of sheep herder.
History
Origins
Shepherding is among the oldest occupations, beginning some 5,000 years ago in Asia Minor. Sheep were kept for their milk, meat and especially their wool. Over the next thousand years, sheep and shepherding spread throughout Eurasia. Henri Fleisch tentatively suggested the Shepherd Neolithic industry of Lebanon may date to the Epipaleolithic and that it may have been used by one of the first cultures of nomadic shepherds in the Beqaa Valley.
Some sheep were integrated in the family farm along with other animals such as chickens and pigs. To maintain a large flock, the sheep must be able to move from pasture to pasture. This required the development of an occupation separate from that of the farmer. The duty of shepherds was to keep their flock intact, protect it from predators and guide it to market areas in time for shearing. In ancient times, shepherds also commonly milked their sheep, and made cheese from this milk; few shepherds still do this today.

The Guide Full Short
We shot this in two and a half days in LA in December 2012. Premiered in LA in June 2013 at the Sundance Sunset Theater. Written by myself and Catherine Farlow, my cousin. I had the pleasure of Producing and Directing this as well. The talented actors were Matt Shepherd, Alex Dorman, Clark Long, and Austin Rodriguez. The film follows a group of local artists creating the stage production, AFRIKAAPS, as they trace the true roots of Afrikaans to slaves in the Cape. It features the musical greats, Jitsvinger, Kyle Shepherd, Emile (black noise), Shane Cooper, Moenier Adams, Blaq Pearl, the powerhouse b-boy, Bliksemstraal, and the poetic genius of Jethro Louw. The film reclaims and liberates Afrikaans from its reputation as the language of the oppressor, taking it back to the people who own it.

Before 1894, Realtor Owen Aldis had completed a professional translation from French into English of Jesuit Priest Jacques Marquette's travel journals along the Chicago River with Scout Louis Joliet from Québec, Canada, accompanied by Native American Indian Chief Chicagou and the Council of Chiefstains for the Michiganea tribes who lived by Lake Michigan in the area we know today as Illinois in the U.S.A. Real Estate developer Owen Aldis' historic efforts documenting the journey of Marquette and Joliet, inspired the Marquette's building christening and the famous fine art mosaics by Louis Comfort Tiffany illustrating historic moments in the exploration of the Chicagoland area in Illinois by Jacques Marquette and Louis Joliet with the Michiganea Chief Chicagou.
Marquette was a Catholic Jesuit missionary who explored the Chicago River and the Illinois region with Louis Joliet between 1674-1675. As a building owner and investor in the Marquette Building, Owen Aldis devoted personal and professional attention and business resources dedicated to the authenticiy of the artistic design and historic legacy of the Marquette Building at the corner of Dearborn and Adams Streets, Downtown Chicago.
The Marquette Building is a 16-floor architectural masterpiece designed by master architects Holabird & Roche, funded by Shepherd and Peter Brooks, and built by the George A. Fuller Company contractors in 1894. Real estate developer Owen Aldis managed all aspects of the planning and construction of the Marquette Building. Completed in 1895, the Marquette Building is a real chef d'oeuvre that honors Chicago's history and reminds everyone of the Windy City's fine arts in architectural design and construction which gave a name to the "Chicago School of Architecture".
The rotunda mosaic was designed by J.A. Holzer of the Tiffany Company. These fine arts glass and gold mosaics are detailed artworks conveying the story of Marquette and Joliet's pioneer journey and travels along the Chicago River in Illinois. Authentic gold medallions, trophies, and Native American Indian Chieftstain's apparel represent original historic period costumes, coats of arms, weapons, and timeless icons of Chicago history in Illinois.
Nowadays the Marquette Building is owned by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation's global headquarters.

The film follows a group of local artists creating the stage production, AFRIKAAPS, as they trace the true roots of Afrikaans to slaves in the Cape. It features the musical greats, Jitsvinger, Kyle Shepherd, Emile (black noise), Shane Cooper, Moenier Adams, Blaq Pearl, the powerhouse b-boy, Bliksemstraal, and the poetic genius of Jethro Louw. The film reclaims and liberates Afrikaans from its reputation as the language of the oppressor, taking it back to the people who own it.

Before 1894, Realtor Owen Aldis had completed a professional translation from French into English of Jesuit Priest Jacques Marquette's travel journals along the Chicago River with Scout Louis Joliet from Québec, Canada, accompanied by Native American Indian Chief Chicagou and the Council of Chiefstains for the Michiganea tribes who lived by Lake Michigan in the area we know today as Illinois in the U.S.A. Real Estate developer Owen Aldis' historic efforts documenting the journey of Marquette and Joliet, inspired the Marquette's building christening and the famous fine art mosaics by Louis Comfort Tiffany illustrating historic moments in the exploration of the Chicagoland area in Illinois by Jacques Marquette and Louis Joliet with the Michiganea Chief Chicagou.
Marquette was a Catholic Jesuit missionary who explored the Chicago River and the Illinois region with Louis Joliet between 1674-1675. As a building owner and investor in the Marquette Building, Owen Aldis devoted personal and professional attention and business resources dedicated to the authenticiy of the artistic design and historic legacy of the Marquette Building at the corner of Dearborn and Adams Streets, Downtown Chicago.
The Marquette Building is a 16-floor architectural masterpiece designed by master architects Holabird & Roche, funded by Shepherd and Peter Brooks, and built by the George A. Fuller Company contractors in 1894. Real estate developer Owen Aldis managed all aspects of the planning and construction of the Marquette Building. Completed in 1895, the Marquette Building is a real chef d'oeuvre that honors Chicago's history and reminds everyone of the Windy City's fine arts in architectural design and construction which gave a name to the "Chicago School of Architecture".
The rotunda mosaic was designed by J.A. Holzer of the Tiffany Company. These fine arts glass and gold mosaics are detailed artworks conveying the story of Marquette and Joliet's pioneer journey and travels along the Chicago River in Illinois. Authentic gold medallions, trophies, and Native American Indian Chieftstain's apparel represent original historic period costumes, coats of arms, weapons, and timeless icons of Chicago history in Illinois.
Nowadays the Marquette Building is owned by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation's global headquarters.
