Perfect Day or A Perfect Day or This Perfect Day may refer to:
Another Perfect Day is the sixth studio album by English rock band Motörhead, released in June 1983. It reached number 20 in the UK Albums Chart.
After guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke left Motörhead in 1982 on their second US tour, guitarist Brian "Robbo" Robertson (ex-Thin Lizzy, Wild Horses) was recruited to complete the tour. A more accomplished, less "feel"-based guitarist than Clarke had been, the change was initially welcome by vocalist/bassist Lemmy and drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor; in Joel McIver's book Overkill: The Untold Story of Motörhead, Lemmy is quoted at the time saying that the band's sound had "changed a little now that Brian's joined the band; I think it's gotten more musical." These feelings would change dramatically once they entered the studio with producer Tony Platt; Lemmy would recall years later in the Motörhead documentary The Guts and the Glory: "Recording Another Perfect Day was fucking torture. Brian, he'd take seventeen hours doin' a guitar track. It fuckin' took so long compared with the other albums. And then when it was released everybody fucking hated it." The original vinyl release featured a lyric-sheet insert, with a cartoon storyboard of the adventures of the new band, as it were. The cassette and US LP versions had a vastly different track list, with "I Got Mine" opening the album and "Back at the Funny Farm" opening side two.
American Hi-Fi is an American pop punk band that formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1998. The band consists of vocalist Stacy Jones, guitarist Jamie Arentzen, bassist Drew Parsons, and drummer Brian Nolan. Prior to the group's formation, Stacy Jones was well known for being a drummer in the successful alternative rock bands Veruca Salt and Letters to Cleo. American Hi-Fi has a close relationship with Miley Cyrus, whose band shares two members with American Hi-Fi. The group has a mixed musical style that includes influences from pop punk, alternative rock, and power pop.
The group released its eponymous debut album in 2001, and this led to their hit single "Flavor of the Weak" and the band was awarded as the "Rising Star" from the Boston Music Awards, 2001. After this, the group was dropped from their label, Island Records, and moved to Los Angeles to remake their production and sound. Working with veteran music producer Butch Walker, they released Hearts on Parade in 2005. The band then toured to a widespread fan-base in Japan and in the United States. Finally the band came back after five years of interval, releasing their third studio album Fight the Frequency in August 2010. The band released their fourth album Blood & Lemonade on September 9, 2014 worldwide via the independent label Rude Records.
Perfection is, broadly, a state of completeness and flawlessness.
The term perfection is used to designate a range of diverse, if often kindred, concepts. These concepts have historically been addressed in a number of discrete disciplines, notably mathematics, physics, chemistry, ethics, aesthetics, ontology, and theology.
The form of the word long fluctuated in various languages. The English language had the alternates, "perfection" and the Biblical "perfectness."
The word "perfection" derives from the Latin "perfectio", and "perfect" — from "perfectus." These expressions in turn come from "perficio" — "to finish", "to bring to an end." "Perfectio(n)" thus literally means "a finishing", and "perfect(us)" — "finished", much as in grammatical parlance ("perfect").
Many modern languages have adopted their terms for the concept of "perfection" from the Latin: the French "parfait" and "perfection"; the Italian "perfetto" and "perfezione"; the Spanish "perfecto" and "perfección"; the English "perfect" and "perfection"; the Russian "совершенный" (sovyershenniy) and "совершенcтво" (sovyershenstvo); the Croatian and Serbian "savršen" and "savršenstvo"; the Czech "dokonalost"; the Slovak "dokonaly" and "dokonalost"; the Polish "doskonały" and "doskonałość."

Fates Warning - Another Perfect Day from the album FWX Lyrics: You tell me you love me and I wonder why The sun is overhead but I can't see past the clouds in my eye You show me what is real and I just pretend Another perfect day and I wonder how it all will end Another perfect day and I will hide away from all the sights and sounds Another perfect day and I will walk away from all the light that surrounds Shadows embrace this room as I draw the shades tight Close the curtains, shut out the day shut out the light Another perfect day and I will hide away from all the sights and sounds Another perfect day and I will walk away from all the light that surrounds Lying awake again restless in this bed Summer night whispers soft but I can't sleep through the noise in my head Soon the sun is...

i'm holding on waiting for your call
it's simple but i can't explain this
i'm sinking down i feel like i could die
i'm falling off i don't know why
i still believe it when you say
it's another perfect day
another perfect day
i still believe it when you say
it's another perfect day
another perfect day
so i might try to leave it all behind
i know tommorow's not so bright now
i'll say goodbye cause nothing good can last
(you wear and figured no where fast)
and today i don't know how too keep it all inside
but i guess i'll let it slide
today i don't know why
i thought that it was real
but i guess it's no big deal
i don't know how
i don't know how
