Today's video features my Stuart Weitzman "Darla" Over the Knee Boots that I purchased from Nordstrom. I placed the order yesterday and they arrived today - I had no idea their ship time was going to be so fast! Regardless, I had been eyeing Stuart Weitzman boots for almost a decade but with their prices increasing every season, I figured there was never a good time to buy. Perhaps they are cooling off trend-wise or maybe enough people already own them (or good alternatives) that they need to offer some sales to gain some new customers.
I'd say the Darla style is in between the lowland and the highland boot, because with a heel of 2.5 inches, it is still quite comfortable and not as "loud" or dressy as say a highland boot would appear. I do love the leg-lengthening affect of these boots as well - I'd say it looks quite classy with a structured skirt or even sleek jeans. The actual boot runs true to size, and online they offer calf measurements so you can ensure a more accurate fit.

What happens when a service mesh creator has to eat its own dogfood? What's it like being on call for a service mesh? Until recently, the creators of Linkerd have never needed to run Linkerd in production, simply because they had no production services to maintain. With the introduction of a SaaS app for Linkerd users that is itself built on Linkerd, Linkerd maintainers were suddenly on call for Linkerd. In this talk, we describe several complex bugs we discovered, diagnosed, and debugged as a result of running Linkerd ourselves, and how this change in our relationship with our own service mesh changed the nature of product development.

Sigfred Ann "Siggie" Nordstrom (June 14, 1893 – December 24, 1980) was an American model, actress, entertainer, socialite and lead singer of The Nordstrom Sisters.
Born in Chicago and nicknamed as "Siggie", she was the elder daughter of Anna and Alexander Nordstrom. She started out as a hat model in Chicago. First coming to New York City to take a part in "Very Good Eddy" on Broadway, she retired from show business during her marriage.
The AP picked up on a photograph of her on the ice of Lake Michigan naming her 'Queen of the Polar Bears'. Her future husband saw the photograph and she always said: "That photograph 'got' my husband!" She was married to the head of the Sweets Company of America, (which made the Tootsie Roll), Samuel Ferebee Williams. When he died in 1931, she began performing with her younger sister Dagmar.
They sublet a flat in London for a year in 1939 when they were the resident performers at The Ritz. Shortly after their return to the United States, her sister's song Remembering You was published both as sheet music and the full orchestration.

Today's video features my Stuart Weitzman "Darla" Over the Knee Boots that I purchased from Nordstrom. I placed the order yesterday and they arrived today - I had no idea their ship time was going to be so fast! Regardless, I had been eyeing Stuart Weitzman boots for almost a decade but with their prices increasing every season, I figured there was never a good time to buy. Perhaps they are cooling off trend-wise or maybe enough people already own them (or good alternatives) that they need to offer some sales to gain some new customers.
I'd say the Darla style is in between the lowland and the highland boot, because with a heel of 2.5 inches, it is still quite comfortable and not as "loud" or dressy as say a highland boot would appear. I do love the leg-lengthening affect of these boots as well - I'd say it looks quite classy with a structured skirt or even sleek jeans. The actual boot runs true to size, and online they offer calf measurements so you can ensure a more accurate fit.

Today's video features my Stuart Weitzman "Darla" Over the Knee Boots that I purchased from Nordstrom. I placed the order yesterday and they arrived today - I had no idea their ship time was going to be so fast! Regardless, I had been eyeing Stuart Weitzman boots for almost a decade but with their prices increasing every season, I figured there was never a good time to buy. Perhaps they are cooling off trend-wise or maybe enough people already own them (or good alternatives) that they need to offer some sales to gain some new customers.
I'd say the Darla style is in between the lowland and the highland boot, because with a heel of 2.5 inches, it is still quite comfortable and not as "loud" or dressy as say a highland boot would appear. I do love the leg-lengthening affect of these boots as well - I'd say it looks quite classy with a structured skirt or even sleek jeans. The actual boot runs true to size, and online they offer calf measurements so you can ensure a more accurate fit.

What happens when a service mesh creator has to eat its own dogfood? What's it like being on call for a service mesh? Until recently, the creators of Linkerd have never needed to run Linkerd in production, simply because they had no production services to maintain. With the introduction of a SaaS app for Linkerd users that is itself built on Linkerd, Linkerd maintainers were suddenly on call for Linkerd. In this talk, we describe several complex bugs we discovered, diagnosed, and debugged as a result of running Linkerd ourselves, and how this change in our relationship with our own service mesh changed the nature of product development.

Siggie Nordstrom
Sigfred Ann "Siggie" Nordstrom (June 14, 1893 – December 24, 1980) was an American model, actress, entertainer, socialite and lead singer of The Nordstrom Sisters.
Born in Chicago and nicknamed as "Siggie", she was the elder daughter of Anna and Alexander Nordstrom. She started out as a hat model in Chicago. First coming to New York City to take a part in "Very Good Eddy" on Broadway, she retired from show business during her marriage.
The AP picked up on a photograph of her on the ice of Lake Michigan naming her 'Queen of the Polar Bears'. Her future husband saw the photograph and she always said: "That photograph 'got' my husband!" She was married to the head of the Sweets Company of America, (which made the Tootsie Roll), Samuel Ferebee Williams. When he died in 1931, she began performing with her younger sister Dagmar.
They sublet a flat in London for a year in 1939 when they were the resident performers at The Ritz. Shortly after their return to the United States, her sister's song Remembering You was published both as sheet music and the full orchestration.
