Rudy is a wild story. Hes doin fine now (hes laying on the floor right now next to me)
Anyway, I was coming home from work one night around midnight on my motorcycle (it was cold & had rained earlier) I was going to go through a dirt road by my house but it was muddy from the rain & I had just lubed my chain.
So I went the boring street way. I turned a corner & there was a little white ball of fur in the middle of the road. My bike is loud & usually scares animals away. But he came right up to me. I looked for a yard he may have gotten out of. He kept just wandering around the street (back & forth)
I knew I couldnt leave him there. So I picked him up. He was just bones & hair (it was bad) His toe nails were Howard Hughes style (super long & curled over) & I could only feel bones on his back.
I put him on my gas tank & since I had to hold him, I couldnt do the clutch & give it gas at the same time. So I sat on my bike (holding him) & pushed with my feet fast enough to get going & let out the clutch.
I putted down the street & around the corner to my house. I put him in the garage, got out the little heater & went inside to tell my girlfriend (another story..lol) Anyway, we gave him wet cat food & he ate a lot. I dried him off & put together a little bed for him.
The next day I had to get him to the vet. Since I only have a motorcycle, I had to put him in one of our cardboard cat carriers & bungee strap it to my gas tank (so I could hold it in front of me with my hands on the handle bars)
Our vet didnt know if hed make it (he was in baaad shape) He weighed less than our smallest cat, had a cataract in one eye & his jaw was broken in 3 places. Ironically, his vitals were ok.
Our Vet (Dr Catherine Talley, Smith Veterinary Hospital - the best vet in history!) said they would fix him up for free IF I would keep him (if he lived) Of course I said yes & thank you. They had to amputate about half his lower jaw, wire it all together & create a lip with his skin. They had to pull his teeth because they were rotten.
So, I got him home & we spent a few weeks nursing him back (with meds & food) He finally started to come around. I named him Rudy because I thought he looked like Rudolph the rednosed reindeer (His nose looks super long because his lower jaw is shorter) Also because hes a little fighter (like the guy in that football movie - Rudy)
Anyway, his tongue sticks out the side & looks like Gene Simmons now when he licks ya. He gets along fine with our cats (even if he didnt, whats he gonna do.. gum em!)
So thats how Rudy came into our family.

Ice age
An ice age is a period of long-term reduction in the temperature of Earth's surface and atmosphere, resulting in the presence or expansion of continental and polar ice sheets and alpine glaciers. Within a long-term ice age, individual pulses of cold climate are termed "glacial periods" (or alternatively "glacials" or "glaciations" or colloquially as "ice age"), and intermittent warm periods are called "interglacials". Glaciologically, ice age implies the presence of extensive ice sheets in the northern and southern hemispheres. By this definition, we are in an interglacial period—the Holocene—of the ice age that began 2.6 million years ago at the start of the Pleistocene epoch, because the Greenland, Arctic, and Antarctic ice sheets still exist.
Origin of ice age theory
In 1742 Pierre Martel (1706–1767), an engineer and geographer living in Geneva, visited the valley of Chamonix in the Alps of Savoy. Two years later he published an account of his journey. He reported that the inhabitants of that valley attributed the dispersal of erratic boulders to the glaciers, saying that they had once extended much farther. Later similar explanations were reported from other regions of the Alps. In 1815 the carpenter and chamois hunter Jean-Pierre Perraudin (1767–1858) explained erratic boulders in the Val de Bagnes in the Swiss canton of Valais as being due to glaciers previously extending further. An unknown woodcutter from Meiringen in the Bernese Oberland advocated a similar idea in a discussion with the Swiss-German geologist Jean de Charpentier (1786–1855) in 1834. Comparable explanations are also known from the Val de Ferret in the Valais and the Seeland in western Switzerland and in Goethe's scientific work. Such explanations could also be found in other parts of the world. When the Bavarian naturalist Ernst von Bibra (1806–1878) visited the Chilean Andes in 1849–1850, the natives attributed fossil moraines to the former action of glaciers.

Ana Kasparian
Anahit Misak Kasparian (Armenian: Անահիտ Միսաք Գասպարեան, pronounced [ɑnɑˈhid miˈsɑkʰ kʰɑsbɑˈɾjɑn]; born July 7 1986) is an American political pundit and the co-host and producer for the online news show The Young Turks. Kasparian began working as a fill-in producer for The Young Turks in 2007, and is now co-host of the main show and host of The Point on the TYT Network. She also appeared on the TV version of the show that aired on Current TV.
Biography
Born in Los Angeles, California, Kasparian is the daughter of Armenian immigrant parents and was raised in the Reseda community of the San Fernando Valley. Kasparian graduated from Valley Alternative Magnet High School of Van Nuys in 2004 and California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts, Journalism (BAJ).
Kasparian was an assistant producer with CBS Radio news stations in Los Angeles, first with KFWB and then KNX. She has also worked with AOL News, YouTube, TidalTv and On Point. After becoming a fill-in host in April 2007, Kasparian became the producer and co-host with Cenk Uygur of the progressive talk radio on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and internet show/TV show The Young Turks. Kasparian says that young people are interested in news, but "they see network anchors as simply folks who read tele-prompters." She co-hosted TYT University, a show focused on issues faced by university students for some years, and now hosts another TYT Network show, The Point. Kasparian is an agnostic atheist.

Hes doin fine now (hes laying on the floor right now next to me) Anyway, I was coming home from work one night around midnight on my motorcycle (it was cold & had rained earlier) I was going to go through a dirt road by my house but it was muddy from the rain & I had just lubed my chain. So I went the boring street way. I turned a corner & there was a little white ball of fur in the middle of the road. My bike is loud & usually scares animals away. But he came right up to me. I looked for a yard he may have gotten out of. He kept just wandering around the street (back & forth) I knew I couldnt leave him there. So I picked him up. He was just bones & hair (it was bad) His toe nails were Howard Hughes style (super long & curled over) & I could only feel bones on his back. I put him on my gas tank & since I had to hold him, I couldnt do the clutch & give it gas at the same time. So I sat on my bike (holding him) & pushed with my feet fast enough to get going & let out the clutch. I putted down the street & around the corner to my house. I put him in the garage, got out the little heater & went inside to tell my girlfriend (another story..lol) Anyway, we gave him wet cat food & he ate a lot. I dried him off & put together a little bed for him. The next day I had to get him to the vet. Since I only have a motorcycle, I had to put him in one of our cardboard cat carriers & bungee strap it to my gas tank (so I could hold it in front of me with my hands on the handle bars) Our vet didnt know if hed make it (he was in baaad shape) He weighed less than our smallest cat, had a cataract in one eye & his jaw was broken in 3 places. Ironically, his vitals were ok. Our Vet (Dr Catherine Talley, Smith Veterinary Hospital - the best vet in history!) said they would fix him up for free IF I would keep him (if he lived) Of course I said yes & thank you. They had to amputate about half his lower jaw, wire it all together & create a lip with his skin. They had to pull his teeth because they were rotten. So, I got him home & we spent a few weeks nursing him back (with meds & food) He finally started to come around. I named him Rudy because I thought he looked like Rudolph the rednosed reindeer (His nose looks super long because his lower jaw is shorter) Also because hes a little fighter (like the guy in that football movie - Rudy) Anyway, his tongue sticks out the side & looks like Gene Simmons now when he licks ya. He gets along fine with our cats (even if he didnt, whats he gonna do.. gum em!) So thats how Rudy came into our family. J Please comment, subscribe, like & share. Thanks.

Rudy is a wild story. Hes doin fine now (hes laying on the floor right now next to me)
Anyway, I was coming home from work one night around midnight on my motorcycle (it was cold & had rained earlier) I was going to go through a dirt road by my house but it was muddy from the rain & I had just lubed my chain.
So I went the boring street way. I turned a corner & there was a little white ball of fur in the middle of the road. My bike is loud & usually scares animals away. But he came right up to me. I looked for a yard he may have gotten out of. He kept just wandering around the street (back & forth)
I knew I couldnt leave him there. So I picked him up. He was just bones & hair (it was bad) His toe nails were Howard Hughes style (super long & curled over) & I could only feel bones on his back.
I put him on my gas tank & since I had to hold him, I couldnt do the clutch & give it gas at the same time. So I sat on my bike (holding him) & pushed with my feet fast enough to get going & let out the clutch.
I putted down the street & around the corner to my house. I put him in the garage, got out the little heater & went inside to tell my girlfriend (another story..lol) Anyway, we gave him wet cat food & he ate a lot. I dried him off & put together a little bed for him.
The next day I had to get him to the vet. Since I only have a motorcycle, I had to put him in one of our cardboard cat carriers & bungee strap it to my gas tank (so I could hold it in front of me with my hands on the handle bars)
Our vet didnt know if hed make it (he was in baaad shape) He weighed less than our smallest cat, had a cataract in one eye & his jaw was broken in 3 places. Ironically, his vitals were ok.
Our Vet (Dr Catherine Talley, Smith Veterinary Hospital - the best vet in history!) said they would fix him up for free IF I would keep him (if he lived) Of course I said yes & thank you. They had to amputate about half his lower jaw, wire it all together & create a lip with his skin. They had to pull his teeth because they were rotten.
So, I got him home & we spent a few weeks nursing him back (with meds & food) He finally started to come around. I named him Rudy because I thought he looked like Rudolph the rednosed reindeer (His nose looks super long because his lower jaw is shorter) Also because hes a little fighter (like the guy in that football movie - Rudy)
Anyway, his tongue sticks out the side & looks like Gene Simmons now when he licks ya. He gets along fine with our cats (even if he didnt, whats he gonna do.. gum em!)
So thats how Rudy came into our family.

Wild Arms Part 7 : Adlehyde's Festival gets ruined
Enjoying the festival a little with a few mini-games offering several items as rewards, and getting paid the money I was due by Emma in exchange for the help in Lolithia's Tomb. We end up searching for a kid with a balloon who got lost somewhere in town. However the balloon gets off his hand and flies off in the sky. The sky suddenly got dark and started to break, as the balloon kept on flying higher. Not that the balloon is cursed or anything, it was just a coincidence to make Rudy and other people look at what's happening up there. Said balloon gets destroyed anyway. When we go back to what's happening down there, unwelcomed guests just showed up to ruin the festival and turn it into their own meaning for 'party'. Rudy's Training Session
Many people confuse training with abuse. Pay attention, you idiots; the whip never once touches the horse. Anyway, here's a list by time of what I'm doing. 2:30 Here, I'm "hooking up" with Rudy. Even though there is no lead on him, he follows me because he recognizes me as the alpha mare. 5:10 He turned away as if to ignore me, so I made him run. The handler should be the center of the horse's attention. 6:35 Here, the idea is for him to relax into an easy trot and jump the barrels. He's good at this, so I don't do much. No sense overtraining. 8:05 Rudy is skittish and easily frightened. I frequently stop to pet him with the whip to remind him that although it should be respected, it won't hurt him. Enjoying the festival a little with a few mini-games offering several items as rewards, and getting paid the money I was due by Emma in exchange for the help in Lolithia's Tomb. We end up searching for a kid with a balloon who got lost somewhere in town. However the balloon gets off his hand and flies off in the sky.
The sky suddenly got dark and started to break, as the balloon kept on flying higher. Not that the balloon is cursed or anything, it was just a coincidence to make Rudy and other people look at what's happening up there. Said balloon gets destroyed anyway.
When we go back to what's happening down there, unwelcomed guests just showed up to ruin the festival and turn it into their own meaning for 'party'.
Rudy and Jack are thus off rescuing people, as Cecilia wanted to help but needed help herself, before everyone rushes into the castle. Events in the castle follow, as we learn that what the invaders are after is a specific item owned by Cecilia...

24:45 - Here's an example of the music glitching out. I'm not sure if this is a thing that would happen on the original system? Or if this is a problem with the PS3's download copy. Anyway, this happens now and again and is a nuisance. It generally fixes itself, though.
I went back to that earlier cave that Rudy solo'd to see if anything changed. Nothing did. But I found some fruit I missed!
This video's dungeon is the Mountain Pass! It's a, uh.. way to pass these mountains! The monsters are a bit harder than before, but aren't much trouble with the three of us in tow. I'd talk combat but, uh... it doesn't fully come to mind, plus I'm trying to be a bit hands off on the talkings here. Ask any questions you have about it though, I'll likely be able to explain it!
Jack's "Lighter" is picked up here, and really helps clear out brush and light lights! Yay~! Also the Magic Map is found and pretty much is a map of the world. I guess it's magic because it lets you know your current location by a glowing dot? Well, it's good to have in any case.
There are also Harpies once you get on top of the mountain. These things are paaaains with the status inflicts they... inflict! I have no magic to heal status effects so I've gotta delve into my bag of tricks to heal! Bummer!

This was downloaded from the PlayStation Store and is being played on a PS3, so it's the PSN version. I am also recording it in 60 frames per second and the game is indeed running at that speed for most of the time -always a treat! Not in the 3D battle scenes, though! Those are in 30 frames per second; y'know, the standard rate we're all used to.
I'm all for playing on original systems when available, but I'd figure that the PS3 can manage a PS1 game though it's not using the same hardware. And it can! Mostly. There's one very odd glitch that happens every so often in which the music totally craps out and gets all muffled and weird. I think the first time it happens is when you get a cutscene with the game's villains discussing their schemes. It'll switch back to normal if you cycle areas/the music, but it happens a bit too often for my liking. Apart from that, this is a fine rendition of the game (as far as I know.)

Wild Arms promised to be some kinda Western (yeehaw) flavored Japanese RPG; it sounded interesting so here I am checking it out!
*WARNING* These are going to be sets of EXTREMELY long videos. I do NOT recommend this as being easy to watch, though, I've seen worse RPGs for watchability. I'm uploading mainly for sake of posterity. It's also in 60 FPS, and I'm all for having copies up on YouTube in that format. Delve in as you see fit.
This video has me revisiting a few areas since I have all the characters in tow, now. I wanted to see if anything new is to be said!
24:45 - Here's an example of the music glitching out. I'm not sure if this is a thing that would happen on the original system? Or if this is a problem with the PS3's download copy. Anyway, this happens now and again and is a nuisance. It generally fixes itself, though.
I went back to that earlier cave that Rudy solo'd to see if anything changed. Nothing did. But I found some fruit I missed!
This video's dungeon is the Mountain Pass! It's a, uh.. way to pass these mountains! The monsters are a bit harder than before, but aren't much trouble with the three of us in tow. I'd talk combat but, uh... it doesn't fully come to mind, plus I'm trying to be a bit hands off on the talkings here. Ask any questions you have about it though, I'll likely be able to explain it!
Jack's "Lighter" is picked up here, and really helps clear out brush and light lights! Yay~! Also the Magic Map is found and pretty much is a map of the world. I guess it's magic because it lets you know your current location by a glowing dot? Well, it's good to have in any case.
There are also Harpies once you get on top of the mountain. These things are paaaains with the status inflicts they... inflict! I have no magic to heal status effects so I've gotta delve into my bag of tricks to heal! Bummer!

This was downloaded from the PlayStation Store and is being played on a PS3, so it's the PSN version. I am also recording it in 60 frames per second and the game is indeed running at that speed for most of the time -always a treat! Not in the 3D battle scenes, though! Those are in 30 frames per second; y'know, the standard rate we're all used to.
I'm all for playing on original systems when available, but I'd figure that the PS3 can manage a PS1 game though it's not using the same hardware. And it can! Mostly. There's one very odd glitch that happens every so often in which the music totally craps out and gets all muffled and weird. I think the first time it happens is when you get a cutscene with the game's villains discussing their schemes. It'll switch back to normal if you cycle areas/the music, but it happens a bit too often for my liking. Apart from that, this is a fine rendition of the game (as far as I know.)

2:30 Here, I'm "hooking up" with Rudy. Even though there is no lead on him, he follows me because he recognizes me as the alpha mare.
5:10 He turned away as if to ignore me, so I made him run. The handler should be the center of the horse's attention.
6:35 Here, the idea is for him to relax into an easy trot and jump the barrels. He's good at this, so I don't do much. No sense overtraining.
8:05 Rudy is skittish and easily frightened. I frequently stop to pet him with the whip to remind him that although it should be respected, it won't hurt him. Also note that he likes to grab my whip. :D
9:45 The idea is for him to pass between me and the fence at a walk. He freaks out over things, so this is an excellent way to teach him that nothing I ask of him will hurt him and, therefore, there is no need to freak out. I realize you can't hear me, but when he passes my side, I kiss. Flopping and pulling on the lead serves to tell him "Stop ignoring me".
13:10 Now I'm trying to get him to move to specific locations. I'm using the barrels and a particular point on the fence. He's not the best at it, but I make sure to praise him when he does what I want.
16:45-26:00 We went off to saddle up. Feel free to fast forward as I don't know how to cut this bit out of the video.
27:30 The device I'm using here is the EZ Mouth, patented by a trainer at the Last Chance Ranch in Shreveport, LA where I learned these techniques. The idea is to teach the horse to break at the poll and collect himself for better movement. As a bonus, a collected horse is also more comfortable to ride.
30:15 Some of you may notice the piece of hose on the line. That's to help keep it from chafing and rubbing him raw if he decides to fight the bit.
32:10 I'm off camera offering him water from a hose since he won't drink what's in the bucket.
33:30 After he's settled down a bit, you can start teaching him to hold his head down at the trot. Contrary to popular belief, the horse does NOT need to hold their head up at the trot. In fact, they move better with their head down and their body collected. So that's what I'm doing here.
