Sid Roth's It's Supernatural! is a talk show hosted by televangelist Sid Roth to promote the supernatural as it relates to evangelism. The show is broadcast in the United States on Daystar,Trinity Broadcasting Network, and internationally on a variety of networks and satellites.

History

Sid Roth's It's Supernatural! began airing in 1996 with the purpose of spreading the Gospel and encouraging Christians globally. In late 2013, Roth's ministry launched ISN (It's Supernatural! Network), an online network that streams episodes of Sid Roth's It's Supernatural! and other content produced by the ministry and its partners for free in high-definition, 24/7.

Mystery meat navigation

Mystery meat navigation (also known as MMN) is a disparaging term coined in 1998 by Vincent Flanders, author and designer of the website Web Pages That Suck, to describe a web page where the destination of the link is not visible until the user points their cursor at it. Such interfaces lack a user-centered design, emphasizing aesthetic appearance, white space, and the concealment of relevant information over basic practicality and functionality.

The epithet "mystery meat" refers to the meat products often served in American public school cafeterias whose forms have been so thoroughly reprocessed that their exact types can no longer be identified by their appearances: like them, the methods of MMN are clear to the producer but baffling to the consumer.

Flanders originally and temporarily described the phenomenon as Saturnic navigation in reference to the Saturn Corporation, whose company website epitomized this phenomenon. Flanders writes, "The typical form of MMN is represented by menus composed of unrevealing icons that are replaced with explicative text only when the mouse cursor hovers over them".

Supernatural

The supernatural (Medieval Latin: supernātūrālis: supra "above" + naturalis "natural", first used: 1520–1530 AD) is that which is not subject to the laws of physics or, more figuratively, that which is said to exist above and beyond nature.

Views

The metaphysical considerations of the existence of the supernatural can be difficult to approach as an exercise in philosophy or theology because any dependencies on its antithesis, the natural, will ultimately have to be inverted or rejected.

One complicating factor is that there is disagreement about the definition of "natural" and the limits of naturalism. Concepts in the supernatural domain are closely related to concepts in religious spirituality and occultism or spiritualism.

The term "supernatural" is often used interchangeably with paranormal or preternatural — the latter typically limited to an adjective for describing abilities which appear to exceed the bounds of possibility.Epistemologically, the relationship between the supernatural and the natural is indistinct in terms of natural phenomena that, ex hypothesi, violate the laws of nature, in so far as such laws are realistically accountable.

Morris Cerullo

Morris Cerullo (born October 2, 1931) is an American pentecostal televangelist.

Biography

Early life and ministry

Cerullo, whose evangelistic ministry is based in San Diego, was born in Passaic, New Jersey to a Russo-Jewish/Italian family, and still describes himself as "a little Jew preacher." His parents died in an automobile accident when he was two years old. By virtue of being of half Jewish parentage, he was then raised in an Orthodox Jewish orphanage in nearby Clifton, out of which he claims to have been led by heavenly messengers. This experience then led him to believing in Jesus Christ at age 14. From this experience, he began preaching the gospel at the age of sixteen, after claiming to have seen a vision from God, in which he witnessed people suffering torments in Hell. He attended and graduated from divinity school in New York state in 1953, and began ministering with the help of his then soon-to-be bride Theresa. In the early 1950s, he was ordained in the Assemblies of God.
