Here's an EASY ukulele tutorial for Here Comes The Sun by George Harrison of The Beatles - you might not be able to play it straight away, but I've SIMPLIFIED it as much as possible!
SINGALONG: 0.18
CHORDS: 2.19
CHORUS: 3.41
VERSE: 6.35
BRIDGE: 8.31
ENDING: 9.28
INTRO: 9.58
OPTIONAL: Put the capo on fret 2 to play in the same key as George Harrison!
Even if you can't play the riffs straight away, the song is made up of 5 or 6 basic chords that you should be able to learn very quickly.
Don't worry about playing it note-for-note like I do - just have fun with it, and strum around until you can play it in a way that suits you!

Yep, I'm going to do some Ukulele lessons! In this little video I show you how to tune your uke, hold it, play four easy chords, strum it and and teach you a '1564' chord sequence which is used in hundreds of songs. Taimane Gardner picked up her first ukulele at the age of five—and it was love at first strum.
Demonstrating her impressive musical chops as a young street performer in Waikiki, Taimane (which means “diamond” in the Samoan language) was a diamond in the rough until Don Ho discovered her at the age of 13. The budding songstress soon became a featured performer with the legendary Hawaiian crooner, playing alongside him at venues in Las Vegas and Palm Springs. From there her popularity grew, and Taimane has since performed in many parts of the world, dazzling audiences far and wide with her cutting-edge style. Her performances have been described as elegant and energetic, while her stage presence is simultaneously overwhelming and captivating.
In addition to playing her own distinctive versions of well-known pieces, Taimane also writes her own songs and adds fresh material to her sets.
Known for her unique musical vision and innovative ukulele style, Taimane shows the versatility of an instrument that is often viewed as limited or simplistic. She has the ability to blend musical genres—from classical to classic rock to flamenco—without missing a beat.

The ukulele (
/ˌjuːkəˈleɪliː/ EW-kə-LAY-lee; from Hawaiian: ʻukulele [ˈʔukuˈlɛlɛ]), sometimes abbreviated to uke; is a member of the guitar family of instruments; it generally employs four nylon or gut strings or four courses of strings.
The ukulele originated in the 19th century as an Hawaiian interpretation of the machete, a small guitar-like instrument related to the cavaquinho, braguinha and the rajao, taken to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants. It gained great popularity elsewhere in the United States during the early 20th century, and from there spread internationally.
The tone and volume of the instrument varies with size and construction. Ukuleles commonly come in four sizes: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone.
Ukuleles are commonly associated with music from Hawaii where the name roughly translates as "jumping flea", perhaps due to the resemblance of the player's finger movements to a "jumping flea". Legend attributes it to the nickname of Englishman Edward William Purvis, one of King Kalākaua's officers, due to his small size, fidgety manner, and playing expertise. According to Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last Hawaiian monarch, the name means “the gift that came here”, from the Hawaiian words uku (gift or reward) and lele (to come).

Captivating ukulele virtuoso Taimane Gardner shares two performances: one, a frenetic, dazzling medley of recognizable classical tunes, and the second, a haunting and powerful composition of her own entitled "Neptune Storm". Dazzling and innovative ukulele virtuoso and songwriter Taimane Gardner picked up her first ukulele at the age of five—and it was love at first strum. Demonstrating her impressive musical chops as a young street performer in Waikiki, Taimane (which means “diamond” in the Samoan language) was a diamond in the rough until Don Ho discovered her at the age of 13. The budding songstress soon became a featured performer with the legendary Hawaiian crooner, playing alongside him at venues in Las Vegas and Palm Springs. From there her popularity grew, and Taimane has since performed in many parts of the world, dazzling audiences far and wide with her cutting-edge style. Her performances have been described as elegant and energetic, while her stage presence is simultaneously overwhelming and captivating. In addition to playing her own distinctive versions of well-known pieces, Taimane also writes her own songs and adds fresh material to her sets. Known for her unique musical vision and innovative ukulele style, Taimane shows the versatility of an instrument that is often viewed as limited or simplistic. She has the ability to blend musical genres—from classical to classic rock to flamenco—without missing a beat. Here's an EASY ukulele tutorial for Here Comes The Sun by George Harrison of The Beatles - you might not be able to play it straight away, but I've SIMPLIFIED it as much as possible! SINGALONG: 0.18 CHORDS: 2.19 CHORUS: 3.41 VERSE: 6.35 BRIDGE: 8.31 ENDING: 9.28 INTRO: 9.58 OPTIONAL: Put the capo on fret 2 to play in the same key as George Harrison! Even if you can't play the riffs straight away, the song is made up of 5 or 6 basic chords that you should be able to learn very quickly. Don't worry about playing it note-for-note like I do - just have fun with it, and strum around until you can play it in a way that suits you! In this little video I show you how to tune your uke, hold it, play four easy chords, strum it and and teach you a '1564' chord sequence which is used in hundreds of songs. Captivating ukulele virtuoso Taimane Gardner shares two performances: one, a frenetic, dazzling medley of recognizable classical tunes, and the second, a haunting and powerful composition of her own entitled "Neptune Storm".
Dazzling and innovative ukulele virtuoso and songwriter
Taimane Gardner picked up her first ukulele at the age of five—and it was love at first strum.
Demonstrating her impressive musical chops as a young street performer in Waikiki, Taimane (which means “diamond” in the Samoan language) was a diamond in the rough until Don Ho discovered her at the age of 13. The budding songstress soon became a featured performer with the legendary Hawaiian crooner, playing alongside him at venues in Las Vegas and Palm Springs. From there her popularity grew, and Taimane has since performed in many parts of the world, dazzling audiences far and wide with her cutting-edge style. Her performances have been described as elegant and energetic, while her stage presence is simultaneously overwhelming and captivating.
In addition to playing her own distinctive versions of well-known pieces, Taimane also writes her own songs and adds fresh material to her sets.
Known for her unique musical vision and innovative ukulele style, Taimane shows the versatility of an instrument that is often viewed as limited or simplistic. She has the ability to blend musical genres—from classical to classic rock to flamenco—without missing a beat.

Captivating ukulele virtuoso Taimane Gardner shares two performances: one, a frenetic, dazzling medley of recognizable classical tunes, and the second, a haunting and powerful composition of her own entitled "Neptune Storm".
Dazzling and innovative ukulele virtuoso and songwriter
Taimane Gardner picked up her first ukulele at the age of five—and it was love at first strum.
Demonstrating her impressive musical chops as a young street performer in Waikiki, Taimane (which means “diamond” in the Samoan language) was a diamond in the rough until Don Ho discovered her at the age of 13. The budding songstress soon became a featured performer with the legendary Hawaiian crooner, playing alongside him at venues in Las Vegas and Palm Springs. From there her popularity grew, and Taimane has since performed in many parts of the world, dazzling audiences far and wide with her cutting-edge style. Her performances have been described as elegant and energetic, while her stage presence is simultaneously overwhelming and captivating.
In addition to playing her own distinctive versions of well-known pieces, Taimane also writes her own songs and adds fresh material to her sets.
Known for her unique musical vision and innovative ukulele style, Taimane shows the versatility of an instrument that is often viewed as limited or simplistic. She has the ability to blend musical genres—from classical to classic rock to flamenco—without missing a beat.
