The Asháninka or Asháninca (also known by the exonym "Campa" or "Kampa", which is considered derogatory[citation needed]) are an indigenous people living in the rainforests of Peru and in the State of Acre Brazil.
Their ancestral lands are in the forests of Junín, Pasco, Huánuco and part of Ucayali.
The Asháninka (their name means: our kinsmen) are estimated between 25,000 and 45,000. Only a few hundred of these live on the Brazilian side of the border. That means that among the 300,000 native people from 65 different ethnic groups in the Peruvian Amazon, the Asháninka are the largest indigenous group.
The nation is made up of seven different groups who live scattered in more than 200 communities along the jungle valleys: the Cutivireni, the Perené Asheninga, the Atsiri, the Nomatsiguenga, and the Caquinteo.

The Asháninka are mostly dependent on subsistence agriculture. They use the slash-and-burn method to clear lands and to plant yucca roots, sweet potato, corn, bananas, rice, coffee, cacao and sugar cane in biodiversity-friendly techniques. They live from hunting and fishing, primarily using bows and arrows or spears, as well as from collecting fruit and vegetables in the jungle.

Plot: With this sequel to his prize-winning independent previous film, "El Mariachi," director Robert Rodriquez joins the ranks of Sam Peckinpah and John Woo as a master of slick, glamorized ultra-violence. We pick up the story as a continuation of "El Mariachi," where an itinerant musician, looking for work, gets mistaken for a hitman and thereby entangled in a web of love, corruption, and death. This time, he is out to avenge the murder of his lover and the maiming of his fretting hand, which occurred at the end of the earlier movie. However, the plot is recapitulated, and again, a case of mistaken identity leads to a very high body count, involvement with a beautiful woman who works for the local drug lord, and finally, the inevitable face-to-face confrontation and bloody showdown.

When you think you’re alone
Too many hours in your apartment
Has made me hard a stone
I tried to crack you
I told you you’re the one
But you must have though that i was gone
I told you a lot of lies just to get laid
But your heart is hard as a stone
You’re a vicious but i’m a man
I’m gonna do what i can to remain hard as a stone
That little pigeon where did you find it?
I had to break her every bone
Eleven hours in your pool
No wonder i’m hard as a stone
She was delicious now i’m a star
If you wanna be what you are you better be hard as a stone
(the chorus)
You’re mean, but i’m a man
It’s not exactly what i planned but it seems i’m hard as a stone
