Jellybean - The Mexican (Short Version) EMI Records 1984 Uploaded on HQ Audio...This was the main theme from the famous 1965's western movie "For a Few Dollars More" , Ennio Morricone composed the soundtrack, Jenny Haan the singer from the group "Babe Ruth" that remade this song on 1972 was recruited to sing this one and what a great choice!...there were few more Disco versions on the late 70's.. but this is my favorite just after Babe Ruth's, my humble opinion...here are the lyrics...

A clumsy criminal is put in a position where he not only has to save his own skin, but that of his girlfriend in this comedy with strong undercurrents of romance. Jerry Welbach (Brad Pitt) is a low-level Mafia "mechanic" whose ineptitude is countered by frequent (but unpredictable) bursts of dumb luck. Jerry's girlfriend Samantha (Julia Roberts) wants him to get out of the business, and after his latest blunder lands capo Arnold Margolese (Gene Hackman) in jail, so does mid-level crime kingpin Bernie Nayman (Bob Balaban). But Bernie insists that Jerry do one last errand for the mob before they let him find employment elsewhere — he has to go to Mexico and recover a rare and very valuable pistol, which is said to be cursed. While Samantha objects to Jerry taking the assignment, he isn't in much of a position to argue; Jerry heads south of the border, while Samantha, in a huff, sets out for Las Vegas. Once in Mexico, Jerry finds the pistol easily enough, but making his way back to the States proves to be an unexpected challenge. Meanwhile, Jerry's superiors want insurance that he'll return with the goods, so they hire Leroy (James Gandolfini), a hitman, to kidnap Samantha and hold her hostage until Jerry comes back. However, Samantha and Leroy quickly strike up a friendship, and she soon learns the gunman has a sensitive side he doesn't show to the world — along with a few other secrets. The Mexican marked the first screen pairing for mega-stars Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt — though, given the film's narrative arc, they play only a handful of scenes together. The film was directed by Gore Verbinski, who won awards for his work in commercials before breaking through with the quirky family comedy Mouse Hunt.

Mexicans
Mexicans (Spanish: Mexicanos) are the people of the United Mexican States, a multiethnic country in North America, and those who identify with the Mexican cultural and/or national identity.
The Mexica founded Mexico-Tenochtitlan in 1325 as an altepetl (city-state) located on an island in Lake Texcoco, in the Valley of Mexico. It became the capital of the expanding Mexica Empire in the 15th century, until captured by the Spanish in 1521. At its peak, it was the largest city in the Pre-Columbian Americas. It subsequently became a cabecera of the Viceroyalty of New Spain. Today the ruins of Tenochtitlan are located in the central part of Mexico City.
The modern nation of Mexico achieved independence from the Spanish Empire; this began the process of forging a national identity that fused the cultural traits of indigenous pre-Columbian origin with those of European, particularly Iberian, ancestry. This led to what has been termed "a peculiar form of multi-ethnic nationalism"
The most spoken language by Mexicans is Mexican Spanish, but some may also speak languages from 62 different indigenous linguistic groups and other languages brought to Mexico by recent immigration or learned by Mexican immigrants residing in other nations. There are about 12 million Mexican nationals residing outside of Mexico, with about 11.7 million living in the United States. The larger Mexican diaspora can also include individuals that trace ancestry to Mexico and self-identify as Mexican.

The Mexican marked the first screen pairing for mega-stars Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt — though, given the film's narrative arc, they play only a handful of scenes together. A clumsy criminal is put in a position where he not only has to save his own skin, but that of his girlfriend in this comedy with strong undercurrents of romance. Jerry Welbach (Brad Pitt) is a low-level Mafia "mechanic" whose ineptitude is countered by frequent (but unpredictable) bursts of dumb luck. Jerry's girlfriend Samantha (Julia Roberts) wants him to get out of the business, and after his latest blunder lands capo Arnold Margolese (Gene Hackman) in jail, so does mid-level crime kingpin Bernie Nayman (Bob Balaban). Samantha (Julia Roberts) throws a fit when she learns that Jerry (Brad Pitt) has to do one more job.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A clumsy criminal is put in a position where he not only has to save his own skin, but that of his girlfriend in this comedy with strong undercurrents of romance. Jerry Welbach (Brad Pitt) is a low-level Mafia "mechanic" whose ineptitude is countered by frequent (but unpredictable) bursts of dumb luck. Jerry's girlfriend Samantha (Julia Roberts) wants him to get out of the business, and after his latest blunder lands capo Arnold Margolese (Gene Hackman) in jail, so does mid-level crime kingpin Bernie Nayman (Bob Balaban). But Bernie insists that Jerry do one last errand for the mob before they let him find employment elsewhere -- he has to go to Mexico and recover a rare and very valuable pistol, which is said to be cursed. While Samantha objects to Jerry taking the assignment, he isn't in much of a position to argue; Jerry heads south of the border, while Samantha, in a huff, sets out for Las Vegas. Once in Mexico, Jerry finds the pistol easily enough, but making his way back to the States proves to be an unexpected challenge. Meanwhile, Jerry's superiors want insurance that he'll return with the goods, so they hire Leroy (James Gandolfini), a hitman, to kidnap Samantha and hold her hostage until Jerry comes back. However, Samantha and Leroy quickly strike up a friendship, and she soon learns the gunman has a sensitive side he doesn't show to the world -- along with a few other secrets. The Mexican marked the first screen pairing for mega-stars Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt -- though, given the film's narrative arc, they play only a handful of scenes together. The film was directed by Gore Verbinski, who won awards for his work in commercials before breaking through with the quirky family comedy Mouse Hunt.

Maybe its that I still have Rio on the brain, but when I watched the newest Dos Equis ad — which was just released this afternoon — I was struck by the familiarity of its newest Most Interesting Man in the World: a Mexican Michael Phelps.
Let’s back up a second. If you’ve lived under a rock or are averse to all things cool, Dos Equis beer has touted actor Jonathan Goldsmith as “The Most Interesting Man in the World,” a risk-taking daredevil of suave operation who always saves the day and takes home the beautiful girl. Some of his best hits for the Mexican beer include, “He’s won the same lifetime achievement award twice,” “He once warned a psychic,” and “He’s Santa’s Secret Santa.”
In March, the long-running ads starring Goldsmith in the title role were retired, with the iconic hero blasting off into space in epic fashion. Although they filmed a few spots featuring Erin Andrews and Luis Guzman presumably during casting for the replacement, the company made no sign about who would fill Goldsmith’s most interesting shoes… until now.
The new ad shows the new hero — whose block of ads will be released next month — ordering a drink and being asked by the bartender in Spanish, “Think anyone will ever be as interesting as him?” referencing the TV commercial on behind the bar.
The bearded Phelps doppelgänger smiles knowingly as the montage shows him casually chopping open a coconut with his bar hands and running down the street carrying a baby pig wearing a fez. “It’s hard to say,” says Mexican Phelps.
