A spectacular aerial Journey by Sarasota Aerial Photographers, Celebrations of Tampa Bay. Amidst palm trees and bodies of waters, our Aerial Videographers in Sarasota fly over the popular wedding venues and vacation destinations of the Florida's Gulf Coast City.
We start at the John Ringling Bridge which connects downtown Sarasota with St Armands Key. We then fly west to Lido Beach and over St Armands Key Circle http://www.starmandscircleassoc.com/, a popular outdoor island shopping center and restaurants.
We then go back over the Ringling Bridge to the downtown area, and fly over the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall http://www.vanwezel.org/ a 1700 seat theatre. Next to the Van Wezel Performing Arts hall is the Hyatt Regency Sarasota http://sarasota.hyatt.com/en/hotel/home.html, a popular wedding venue, which we have one many weddings at. Update: I have now switched to a new frame, a Diatone Reptile 500: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=691uTZnZB78
Just showing off my new and first quad build for aerial photography lol. I learned a lot on the old tricopter and decided to get into quads. Have had a few flights with it now and really like it. I'm thinking of switching out the props for some 10 inch ones for better flight times.
Build cost was pretty low as I had a few parts already(FC, gimbal, cameras, vtx, rx...). Total cost was about $150. Most everything was ordered on ebay except for a 3 channel video switcher and some wiring from Hobby King.
Things I bought:

x4 SunnySky x2212 13 II motor: $64
x4 Graupner 9x5 props: got 4 for $14 with an ebay coupon! (update: 10x5 is the way to go if using 3s)

Aerial photography is the taking of photographs of the ground from an elevated position. The term usually refers to images in which the camera is not supported by a ground-based structure. Cameras may be hand held or mounted, and photographs may be taken by a photographer, triggered remotely or triggered automatically. Platforms for aerial photography include fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, balloons, blimps and dirigibles, rockets, kites, poles, parachutes, and vehicle mounted poles. Aerial photography should not be confused with Air-to-Air Photography, when aircraft serve both as a photo platform and subject.
Aerial photography was first practiced by the French photographer and balloonist Gaspard-Félix Tournachon, known as "Nadar", in 1858 over Paris, France.
However, the photographs he produced no longer exist and therefore the earliest surviving aerial photograph is titled 'Boston, as the Eagle and the Wild Goose See It.' Taken by James Wallace Black and Samuel Archer King on October 13, 1860, it depicts Boston from a height of 630m.

Low Cost Aerial Photography Rig
Update: I have now switched to a new frame, a Diatone Reptile 500: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=691uTZnZB78 Just showing off my new and first quad build for aerial photography lol. I learned a lot on the old tricopter and decided to get into quads. Have had a few flights with it now and really like it. I'm thinking of switching out the props for some 10 inch ones for better flight times. Build cost was pretty low as I had a few parts already(FC, gimbal, cameras, vtx, rx...). Total cost was about $150. Most everything was ordered on ebay except for a 3 channel video switcher and some wiring from Hobby King. Things I bought: Alien X frame: $24 x4 SunnySky x2212 13 II motor: $64 x4 Graupner 9x5 props: got 4 for $14 with an ebay coupon! (update: 10x5 is the way to go if using 3s) x4 3...

Just showing off my new and first quad build for aerial photography lol. I learned a lot on the old tricopter and decided to get into quads. Have had a few flights with it now and really like it. I'm thinking of switching out the props for some 10 inch ones for better flight times.
Build cost was pretty low as I had a few parts already(FC, gimbal, cameras, vtx, rx...). Total cost was about $150. Most everything was ordered on ebay except for a 3 channel video switcher and some wiring from Hobby King.
