Jamshoro (Sindhi: ڄام شورو) is a city in Jamshoro District, Sindh, Pakistan. It is located on the right bank of Indus River, approximately 18km Northwest of Hyderabad and 150km Northeast from the provincial Capital of Sindh and largest city of Pakistan, Karachi.
Besides being an historical and picturesque site, Jamshoro is home to highly-educated and affluent people along with this, it is also of universities like Pakistan's second oldest university called University of Sindh, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology and Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, which produce number of doctors, engineers, IT professionals, journalists and other professionals every year.
