Caitlin is forced to use a pay phone, which she has a fear of using, rather than her cell phone which she is forbidden to use in the hospital. Meanwhile, Nikki is too afraid of babies to help Jen's mother with the breathing exercises. Jen tries to be excused from work to go see her mother at the hospital, but she ends up getting stuck in many places, from having her shoelace stuck in the escalator to getting put in the slammer at Ron the Rent-a-cop's office, and when Nathan, a new boy Jen likes, helps to free her, they both end up stuck inside one of the mall's elevators.

Labor Day or Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
Celebrating the Australian labour movement, the Labour Day public holiday is fixed by the various state and territory governments, and so varies considerably. It is the first Monday in October in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and South Australia. In both Victoria and Tasmania, it is the second Monday in March (though the latter calls it Eight Hours Day). In Western Australia, Labour Day is the first Monday in March. In both Queensland and the Northern Territory, it is the first Monday in May.
In Bangladesh, it is observed on 1 May and is a Government holiday.

Kate Elizabeth Winslet (born 5 October 1975) is an English actress. She was the youngest person to accrue six Academy Award nominations, and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for The Reader (2008). She has won awards from the Screen Actors Guild, British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association among others, and has been nominated twice for an Emmy Award for television acting, winning once for her role as Mildred Pierce in the 2011 mini-series of the same name.
Brought up in Berkshire, Winslet studied drama from childhood, and began her career in British television in 1991. She made her film debut in Heavenly Creatures (1994), for which she received her first notable critical praise. She achieved recognition for her subsequent work in a supporting role in Sense and Sensibility (1995) and for her leading role in Titanic (1997), the highest grossing film at the time, and the highest grossing film of Winslet's career.
Since 2000, Winslet's performances have continued to draw positive comments from film critics, and she has been nominated for various awards for her work in such films as Quills (2000), Iris (2001), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), Finding Neverland (2004), Little Children (2006), The Reader (2008) and Revolutionary Road (2008). Her performance in the last of these prompted New York magazine critic David Edelstein to describe her as "the best English-speaking film actress of her generation". The romantic comedy The Holiday and the animated film Flushed Away (both 2006) are among the biggest commercial successes of her career.

Kenya joins the world in marking Labour Day celebrations
COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has hit out at Kenya employers for their alleged failure to address the plight of workers. Speaking at the historic Uhuru Park during celebrations to mark Labour Day, Atwoli said corruption coupled with outsourcing of workers has left thousands of qualified Kenyans jobless. Meanwhile, the debate surrounding IEBC featured prominently at the event with leaders present engaging in vicious war of words on whether or not the Issack Hassan-led commission should be reconstituted.

Plot: Jen and Nathan are still in the elevator trying to find a way to get to the hospital in time so Jen can help her mom give birth. Jude unknowingly chats up with a dead body, and Jonesy becomes a clown to entertain the kids at the hospital, while Nikki is in love with newborn babies in the hospital's nursery, but she accidentally puts two babies in the wrong cribs when she put them back. She then goes to Jonesy for advice on how to switch the babies back, eventually leading into Nikki telling Jonesy that she loves him. She then disguises herself as a nurse in an attempt to switch the babies back and prevent a couple from mistakenly taking the wrong baby home. In the end Jude takes a picture of everyone gathered around the new baby, Emma.

Politicians Jockey For The Spotlight At 2013 West Indian Day Parade
BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- For a few short hours on Labor Day morning, the toughest job in New York just might belong to Bill Howard.
That's because Howard, the 70-year-old vice president of the West Indian Day Carnival Association (WIADCA), will again be the host for the VIP breakfast before the city's annual West Indian American Day Parade. Like in past elections, politicians running for citywide or Brooklyn office are expected to attend the major event -- and all of them will be asking Howard for a helping hand in getting a reception among the influential crowd of 500.
The West Indian Day Parade is a cultural institution in New York, when millions turn out along Eastern Parkway to see the steel pan bands, the feathered dancers and the floats blasting reggae, calypso and soca music. The breakfast attendees include influential Caribbean-Americans, including businesspeople, heads of Caribbean cultural organizations and church leaders. It's a valuable speaking opportunity for politicians.
"It's very bad. You can't accommodate everybody," Howard told The Huffington Post. "I'm emceeing, and you've got 50 staff members sending cards and notes up to me that so-and-so is under the tent, and can he get two minutes on the podium. It gets complicated."
The complications don't just end when the politician gets on stage. Getting him or her off is often a harder task that produces its own set of stresses, Howard said.
"Once you've given an elected official a mic, it's kind of hard to have them move," he said. "If an elected official starts going on too long, I stand right behind him and start pulling his coattails."
Politicking happens at all of the city's big parades -- St. Patrick's Day, Puerto Rican Day, Gay Pride -- with candidates looking for a prominent spot in the march or a chance to speak. But the Labor Day procession in central Brooklyn is New York's largest. That the celebration falls just days before the mayoral primary election on Sept. 10 only amplifies its significance.
And in this year's crowded Democratic field for mayor, the parade provides an opportunity to woo black voters. A poll released last week by Siena College and The New York Times showed that 20 percent of black Democrats hadn't made up their minds on the mayoral race (or wouldn't reveal their choice).
