King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude is the second studio album by American hip hop recording artist Pusha T. It was released on December 18, 2015, by GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. The album was supported by three singles: "Untouchable", "M.F.T.R." featuring The-Dream and "Crutches, Crosses, Caskets".

The album serves as a prelude for his third album King Push, which has been scheduled to be released for April 2016. King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude received widespread acclaim from critics, who highly praised its unique lyricism and experimental production.

Background

On October 7, 2013, Pusha T released his debut album, My Name is My Name. The album received universal acclaim from critics, debuting at number 4 on the US Billboard 200, selling 74,000 copies in its first week. In April 2013, in an interview with AskMen; Pusha T revealed that after the release of his debut album, he would be finishing the work on his second album, titled King Push.

Daichi Miura

Daichi Miura (三浦 大知, Miura Daichi) (born 24 August 1987) is a Japanese singer, songwriter, dancer, and choreographer. He belongs to Vision Factory and signed a record contract with Avex. (The label is SONIC GROOVE.)

Career

Miura debuted as a singer in 1997 with the group Folder, consisting of students from Okinawa Actors School, which he attended. He left the group in 2000 due to his voice changing as a result of puberty. On August 1, 2004, he declared he would come back as a solo artist, and did so in March 2005 with the single "Keep It Goin' On." Since his solo debut, he has released 15 singles and 4 albums.

Shake It Out

"Shake It Out" is a song by English indie rock band Florence and the Machine, released as the first official single from their second studio album Ceremonials (2011). It was written by Florence Welch and Paul Epworth, while production was handled by Epworth. The song was digitally released in Australia on 14 September 2011, and it was available in the United States on 19 October. It had its radio debut on XFM on 14 September 2011 in the United Kingdom. Welch revealed that the song was written within an hour and according to her it talked about shaking the regrets and the things that were haunting her.

"Shake It Out" is a baroque pop and art rock song with gospel elements which contains organs, bells and tambourines as its main instrumentation. The song received acclaim from music critics who praised Welch's vocals and its anthemic nature. An accompanying music video for the song premiered on 19 October 2011 and it was directed by Dawn Shadforth. It showed Welch attending an old party in England, evoking references to Eyes Wide Shut. It received acclaim from critics who praised its imagery and compared it to videos by Annie Lennox and Madonna.

Florence and the Machine

Florence and the Machine (styled as Florence + the Machine) are an English indie rock band that formed in London in 2007, consisting of lead singer Florence Welch, Isabella Summers, and a collaboration of other artists. The band's music received praise across the media, especially from the BBC, which played a large part in their rise to prominence by promoting Florence and the Machine as part of BBC Introducing. At the 2009 Brit Awards they received the Brit Awards "Critics' Choice" award. The band's music is renowned for its dramatic and eccentric production and also Welch's vocal performances.

The band's debut studio album, Lungs, was released on 6 July 2009, and held the number-two position for its first five weeks on the UK Albums Chart. On 17 January 2010, the album reached the top position, after being on the chart for twenty-eight consecutive weeks. As of October 2010, the album had been in the top forty in the United Kingdom for sixty-five consecutive weeks, making it one of the best-selling albums of 2009 and 2010. The group's second studio album, Ceremonials, released in October 2011, entered the charts at number one in the UK and number six in the US. The band's third album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, was released on 2 June 2015. It topped the UK charts, and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, their first to do so. Also in 2015, the band was the headlining act at Glastonbury Festival, making Florence Welch the first British female headliner this century.
