An estate agent is a person or business that arranges the selling, renting or management of properties, and other buildings, in the United Kingdom and Ireland. An agent that specialises in renting is often called a letting or management agent. Estate agents are mainly engaged in the marketing of property available for sale and a solicitor or licensed conveyancer is used to prepare the legal documents. In Scotland, however, many solicitors also act as estate agents, a practice that is rare in England and Wales.
It is customary in the United Kingdom and in Ireland to refer to real estate or real property simply as property.
The estate agent remains the current title for the person responsible for the management of one group of privately owned, all or mostly tenanted, properties under one ownership. Alternative titles are Factor, Steward or Bailiff depending on the era, the region and the extent of the property concerned.
The term originally referred to a person responsible for managing a landed estate, while those engaged in the buying and selling of homes were "House Agents", and those selling land were "Land Agents". However, in the 20th century, "Estate Agent" started to be used as a generic term. Estate agent is roughly synonymous with the United States term real estate broker.

We stopped in to check out the some of the great natural experiences that can be enjoyed in Townsville and its surrounds. We started with a trip to Wallaman falls before heading to Paluma for a swim at both bIg and little crystal creek Once we got into the town centre and went for a walk along the strand before visiting Reef HQ. Magnetic island is a short ferry ride from Townsville and is worth the trip some great things to see and there are many opportunities that will allow you to get up close to some Australian wildlife. This destination has a number of wildlife sanctuaries that will allow you to hold a Koala, wombat, snake or even feed a crocodile. This is another great Queensland destination that is a must see
After arriving in Townsville our first point to check out was the Strand. This promenade stretches along 2.2km of their beachfront. The Strand is really popular among locals and visitors and it is pretty easy to see why when you go there. We went for a stroll along the walkway and there were people riding their bikes, exercising, having picnics and barbecues and just socialising along there. It has a very nice atmosphere about it. There are life guard patrolled swimming beaches and even thought he water is so calm it is quite nice and reassuring to know that the life guards are there in case anything was to happen. There is even a free water park area for kids and this section was understandably busy with kids, and adults, trying to cool off on a warm day. We then checked in to our acc...

Townsville has a lot of natural beauty around it so we were heading north to enjoy their rainforest. The Paluma Range National Park is about a 60 minute drive north of Townsville. At the turn off to the range you will see a sign Big Crystal Creek. This is a swimming hole with natural rock slide and is a lot of fun in the summer months. Following the scenic but bendy road up the range (not recommended for caravans and large motorhomes as it is a thin windy road) you eventually come to Little Crystal Creek. This consists of a few swimming holes that are fed by a little waterfall and are very popular with locals and tourists in the summer. The water is fresh and the perfect cooling solution on a hot day. There is also a stone arch bridge over the swimming holes that was built by hand back ...
The Hinchinbrook region offers a wealth of natural experiences to enjoy. With Hinchinbrook Island being the largest island on the Great Barrier Reef there is no shortage of waterways to explore and fishing grounds to throw a line in. We were spending a few days at the Hinchinbrook Marine Cove Resort so we could have the chance to really check out this area. The resort had accommodation that would suit all styles and budgets. We stayed in a 2 bedroom townhouse. This was spacious and comfortable and was self contained which was great for us to have a kitchen and is perfect if you are there for an extended stay. They also have motel style units that overlook the water and studio style bungalows that sleep up to 5. And the most luxurious are their river front houses. These sleep up to 8 ...
A visit to Townsville isn't complete without spending some time over on Magnetic Island. This tropical island offers a world of fun and adventure to experience, with over 20km of walking tracks and 23 bays and beaches to explore. The short quick trip over to Maggi (as it is affectionately called by the locals) is quite picturesque so is a good time to get your camera out. When we arrived we decided to hire a car from C:Drive Car Rentals as it is quite a large island and a car would make sure that we got around nice and easily. There are also buses if you don't want to hire a car. We had a pretty action packed day which was awesome, but I would suggest staying on the island a few days to really make the most of it. There is a lot of accommodation there from backpackers to 5* resorts. W...
When you are in a beautiful destination that has walking tracks through rainforests, national parks and bush going for a walk will offer you the best way to take in the natural beauty of the place. Here are a few tips when you do head out for a walk or trek.
Townsville city of Australia is situated in the tropical region of the country, It does not have clear four season, it does not have winter , autumn and spring, , it has only two season, wet and dry, I made a movie of both seasons. You will see few friends of mine who were sharing my house, then you will see the rain, cars are floating in the water, then you will see the whole town, how beautiful it is, You will see Castle hill and sea. I tried to focus Magnetic island that is very beautiful Island close to the city. In the End you may see me with my one Melbourne friend.
