Whilst in San Francisco, I met up with Arwie, Gordon and Liam to go for a quick blast in their Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale which has a Larini cross-pipe exhaust fitted, along with a number of other modifications that have taken the car form around 444hp standard, to over 600hp now. The car sounded absolutely unbelievable!

The Maserati MC12 is a legend, and a very rare one at that too as officially only 50 of the standard road cars were ever built. Sharing a platform and engine with the Ferrari Enzo it's a big, bad V12 monster with the added bonus of a removable roof and presence on the road that cannot be compared with anything else.
During a day with Greg http://www.instagram.com/gregb.23 he very kindly threw the keys my way and offered me the opportunity to go for a drive in what can only be a described as a unicorn car - this is one I never thought I could even dream to put 'on my list', let alone actually experience!
Without being too technical because time was short and the car is excruciatingly valuable, what a behemoth of a machine it is. Armed with a bypass valve for as much noise as you could imagine, the intake above your head sucking air through to the engine and an amount of drama on the road that's virtually incomparable, this was certainly one of the experiences of my lifetime.
When we returned, we take a quick look at the LaFerrari's electric mode, and the Mercedes 6x6's self-inflating tyre system. Boys and their toys...

Maserati
Maserati (Italian pronunciation: [mazeˈraːti]) is an Italian luxury car manufacturer established on December 1, 1914, in Bologna. The Maserati tagline is "Luxury, sports and style cast in exclusive cars", and the brand's mission statement is to "Build ultra-luxury performance automobiles with timeless Italian style, accommodating bespoke interiors, and effortless, signature sounding power".
The company's headquarters are now in Modena, and its emblem is a trident. It has been owned by the Italian car giant Fiat S.p.A. since 1993. Maserati was initially associated with Ferrari S.p.A., which is also owned by Fiat, but more recently it has become part of the sports car group including Alfa Romeo and Abarth (see section below). In May 2014, due to ambitious plans and product launches, Maserati sold a record of over 3,000 cars. This caused them to increase production of the Quattroporte and Ghibli models. Pure and very exquisite SOUND footage of the famous Maserati GranTurismo powered by a naturally aspirated V8 delivering 405 hp. This particular car was provided by www.ecc-rent.de in Weiterstadt (Germany), so special thanks go to You guys! Although I was skeptical at first about the sportiness of this car, the very loud Sound was something I didn't expect this way....mind-blowing! My First Drive in the Maserati MC12 - What a Legend!
The Maserati MC12 is a legend, and a very rare one at that too as officially only 50 of the standard road cars were ever built. Sharing a platform and engine with the Ferrari Enzo it's a big, bad V12 monster with the added bonus of a removable roof and presence on the road that cannot be compared with anything else. Whilst in San Francisco, I met up with Arwie, Gordon and Liam to go for a quick blast in their Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale which has a Larini cross-pipe exhaust fitted, along with a number of other modifications that have taken the car form around 444hp standard, to over 600hp now. The car sounded absolutely unbelievable!

The Maserati MC12 is a legend, and a very rare one at that too as officially only 50 of the standard road cars were ever built. Sharing a platform and engine with the Ferrari Enzo it's a big, bad V12 monster with the added bonus of a removable roof and presence on the road that cannot be compared with anything else.
During a day with Greg http://www.instagram.com/gregb.23 he very kindly threw the keys my way and offered me the opportunity to go for a drive in what can only be a described as a unicorn car - this is one I never thought I could even dream to put 'on my list', let alone actually experience!
Without being too technical because time was short and the car is excruciatingly valuable, what a behemoth of a machine it is. Armed with a bypass valve for as much noise as you could imagine, the intake above your head sucking air through to the engine and an amount of drama on the road that's virtually incomparable, this was certainly one of the experiences of my lifetime.
When we returned, we take a quick look at the LaFerrari's electric mode, and the Mercedes 6x6's self-inflating tyre system. Boys and their toys...
