Ingredients for aromatics:
*4 garlic cloves
*thumb size ginger
*~1 tablespoon of fermented black soybeans that have been soaked in hot water to plump up, drain
*1 small spicy pepper to taste
(*~1 tablespoon of bean paste- add to RICE ONLY)
(*splash of soy sauce- add to RICE ONLY)
*cracked black pepper
Veggies (as much as you want):
*diced carrots
*sliced snow peas
*frozen green peas
*broccoli
*red cabbage
*celery
*scallions
*brown rice: white rice 2 1/2 :1 ratio (~3+ cups COOKED)
Directions:
Add half the aromatics and water saute the red cabbage to desired softness. Remove from pan.
Add the rest of the aromatics and water saute the rest of the veggies. I like to keep the texture crunchy.
Add in rice. Mix the bean paste, soy sauce and splash of water to make a sauce, then add it to the rice.
Lower heat, stir stir stir, add in red cabbage, stir, add scallions and serve!
How to make tasty brussel sprouts: Cut in half, steam and saute in garlic oil!

My Friends, share black bean salmon recipe with different colored capsicum to You. Hope You like this recommendation Me Friends.

Ingredients :
- 1 Salmon steak
- Capsicum (3 colors) : cut into bite sizes
- Black Bean : 1 tbsp (wash away the salt if any)
- Ginger : sliced into 5 pieces
- Garlic : 5 cloves (crushed)
- Cooking oil
- Corn flour mixture (1 tbsp of corn flour with 3 tbsp of water)
Sauce Ingredients :
- Oyster sauce : 1 tsp
- Dark soy sauce : 1/2 tsp
- Raw sugar : 1 tbsp
- Rice wine : 2 tbsp
- Black pepper : a pinch
- Water : 1/2 cup
Cooking Method :
(1) Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
(2) Heat up pan with 1 tbsp of cooking oil, fry salmon until golden brown on both sides. Set aside on a plate.
(3) In a pan, heat up 2 tbsp of cooking oil, stir fry ginger and garlic until oil is fragrant, discard the ginger and garlic.
(4) Add black bean and capsicum to the fragrant oil, stir fry a while and follow by the sauce. Once the sauce starts to boil, add in corn mixture to thicken the sauce.
(5) When the sauce boils again, add salmon to the black bean sauce. Cover salmon with sauce and simmer for 1 minutes.

Douchi
Douchi (Chinese: 豆豉, Pinyin: dòuchǐ, Jyutping: dau6si6) is a type of fermented and salted black soybean. In English, it is known as fermented black soybeans, Chinese fermented black beans (Chinese: 黑豆豆豉, Pinyin: hēidòu dòuchǐ, Jyutping: hak1dau6 dau6si6), salted black beans, salty black beans, or just black beans. They are a flavoring most popular in the cuisine of China, where they are most widely used for making black bean sauce.
Douchi is made by fermenting and salting black soybeans. The black type soybean is most commonly used and the process turns the beans soft, and mostly dry (if the beans are allowed to dry). Regular soybeans (white soybeans) are also used, but this does not produce "salted black beans"; instead, these beans become brown. The smell is sharp, pungent, and spicy; the taste is salty, somewhat bitter and sweet. The product made with white soybeans is called mianchi (麪豉; miànchǐ).
The process and product are similar to ogiri and iru, both being African fermented bean products .

Ingredients for aromatics:
*4 garlic cloves
*thumb size ginger
*~1 tablespoon of fermented black soybeans that have been soaked in hot water to plump up, drain

Ingredients for aromatics:
*4 garlic cloves
*thumb size ginger
*~1 tablespoon of fermented black soybeans that have been soaked in hot water to plump up, drain
*1 small spicy pepper to taste
(*~1 tablespoon of bean paste- add to RICE ONLY)
(*splash of soy sauce- add to RICE ONLY)
*cracked black pepper
Veggies (as much as you want):
*diced carrots
*sliced snow peas
*frozen green peas
*broccoli
*red cabbage
*celery
*scallions
*brown rice: white rice 2 1/2 :1 ratio (~3+ cups COOKED)
Directions:
Add half the aromatics and water saute the red cabbage to desired softness. Remove from pan.
Add the rest of the aromatics and water saute the rest of the veggies. I like to keep the texture crunchy.
Add in rice. Mix the bean paste, soy sauce and splash of water to make a sauce, then add it to the rice.
Lower heat, stir stir stir, add in red cabbage, stir, add scallions and serve!

Ingredients :
- 1 Salmon steak
- Capsicum (3 colors) : cut into bite sizes
- Black Bean : 1 tbsp (wash away the salt if any)
- Ginger : sliced into 5 pieces
- Garlic : 5 cloves (crushed)
- Cooking oil
- Corn flour mixture (1 tbsp of corn flour with 3 tbsp of water)
Sauce Ingredients :
- Oyster sauce : 1 tsp
- Dark soy sauce : 1/2 tsp
- Raw sugar : 1 tbsp
- Rice wine : 2 tbsp
- Black pepper : a pinch
- Water : 1/2 cup
Cooking Method :
(1) Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
(2) Heat up pan with 1 tbsp of cooking oil, fry salmon until golden brown on both sides. Set aside on a plate.
(3) In a pan, heat up 2 tbsp of cooking oil, stir fry ginger and garlic until oil is fragrant, discard the ginger and garlic.
(4) Add black bean and capsicum to the fragrant oil, stir fry a while and follow by the sauce. Once the sauce starts to boil, add in corn mixture to thicken the sauce.
(5) When the sauce boils again, add salmon to the black bean sauce. Cover salmon with sauce and simmer for 1 minutes.
