Alma Redemptoris Mater (Ecclesiastical Latin: [ˈalma redɛmpˈtoris ˈmatɛr]; English: Loving Mother of our Saviour) is a Marian hymn, written in Latin hexameter, and one of four seasonal liturgical Marian antiphons sung at the end of the office of Compline (the other three being Ave Regina cælorum, the Regina cœli and the Salve Regina). Hermannus Contractus (also called Herman the Cripple; 1013–1054) is said to have authored the hymn based on the writings of Saints Fulgentius, Epiphanius, and Irenaeus of Lyon. It is mentioned in The Prioress's Tale, one of Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. Formerly it was recited at compline only from the first Sunday in Advent until the Feast of the Purification (2 February).
Depending on the period, the following combinations of a versicle, response, and collect are added. From the first Sunday of Advent until Christmas Eve, the collect from the Fourth Sunday of Advent is used, and thereafter until the Feast of the Presentation, the collect from Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, is used.

Disclaimer: I don't own this. Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (between 3 February 1525 and 2 February 1526[1] 2 February 1594) was an Italian composer of the Renaissance. He was the most famous sixteenth-century representative of the Roman School of musical composition. Palestrina became famous through his output of sacred music.[2] He had a vast influence on the development of Roman Catholic church music, and his work can be seen as a summation of Renaissance polyphony. Alma Redemptoris Mater or, in English, "Loving Mother of our Savior," is one of four liturgical Marian antiphons (the other three being: Ave Regina caelorum, Regina coeli and Salve Regina), and sung at the end of the office of Compline. Hermannus Contractus (Herman the Cripple) (1013 - 1054) is said to have authore...

Rain is falling down my cheek
Searching for the sea
Tomorrow, like the rain
I'll be back home again
I watch, the bus
As it pulls out of view
Someday like that bus
I will be leaving too
But you know
It breaks my heart
To leave you
Camelback
My high school
And now, Alone
Crying in my beer
Cause old friends said goodbye
I guess I'll be leaving too
But you know
It breaks my heart
To leave you
Cortez
I'll miss you
Yes I will
Yes I will
You know I will
Yes I will
Yes I will
You know I will
Well so long... so long
Everybody... Everybody
I hope that I would see you again... again
Goodbye... Goodbye
Everybody... Everybody
I finally grew up
They finally let me out of school
Hey, remember the time - 'member the time
We took that snake
And put down little Betsy's dress?
Now I don't think Miss Axelrod
Was much impressed
No I don't think Miss Axelrod
Was much impressed
Well I don't think Miss Axelrod
Was much impressed
Oh, goodbye..
Everybody..
I hope that I would see you again..
So long..
Everybody..
How do you like that
They finally let me out of school
Goodbye..
Ah, I wanna get out of here
They let me out of school
How 'bout that, uh?
Goodbye
Hey, goodbye, guys
Maybe I'll see -
Maybe I'll see you around some time, uh?
Ey, don't make a stranger of yourself, uh?
Remember the Coop, uh?
May - I ho -
I hope you don't forget me or nothing
