GAMESPY SERVERS TO SHUTDOWN (Escapist News Now)
Long-running multiplayer server network GameSpy announced they will be shutting down the company's servers at the end of next month.
Parent company Glu stopped selling license agreements at the beginning of last year, and as of May 31st, all games currently using GameSpy will need to switch servers, or stop offering multiplayer.
There are around 800 developers and publishers that could be affected including games like Dungeon Defenders, Gotham City Impostors, and even Red Dead Redemption. Certain companies like Capcom have already come forward to say they are working on server migration solutions, but others like Trendy Entertainment have said they plan to cease certain multiplayer support for certain versions of games, like the PS3 and non-steam PC version of Dungeon Defenders.
It will also affect Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead and Arma 3, but developer Bohemia Interactive plans to migrate some services such as CD key authentication and NAT traversal to Steam.
GameSpy has had quite the run that spanned almost 20 years. They were acquired by IGN back in 2004, with GameSpy Technologies being sold off to Glu Mobile in 2012.

ADVERTENCIA!! Ultimamente me dicen alguno que se les daña el juego, otros que le funciona perfectamente, queda bajo tu responsabilidad descargarlo ya que es para el HALO que yo subi, no otros, y algo que pueden hacer es copiar su carpeta del juego y pegarla en anguna otra parte, asi si se les daña pueden borrar la carpeta dañada y poner la original que tenian.
Bueno, ahora les traigo un video para arreglar un problemita que salio hace poco en halo, disculpen si no me explico bien no suelo hacer mucho mis videos con mi voz, y tambien en la ultima parte el audio no me cuadro con el video, grabo mi voz con el celular y la uno al video con camtasia, creo que no lo acomode bien xD bueno si te sirvio dale me gusta y compartelo para que las prsonas puedan volver a los servers, suscribete si quieres juegos de pocos requisitos, hasta luego gente desconocida de youtube :D

The classic "Welcome to Gamespy" and "Let's get on with the killing!" sound effects from Gamespy circa 1997.
One night I was bored and ended up inevitably scouring the internet but couldn't find both of these effects on Youtube so I launched an important anthropological expedition to the bowels of the internet to recover these cultural relics!
According to the WAV metadata, they were created by Anthony 'Airon' Oetzmann (aronchce@sp.zrz.tu-berlin.de) in December 1997 for the Gamespy 'Sound of Fury' Contest. BIG UPS to mah main man Ants for creating a formative memory of my childhood.

One night I was bored and ended up inevitably scouring the internet but couldn't find both of these effects on Youtube so I launched an important anthropological expedition to the bowels of the internet to recover these cultural relics! According to the WAV metadata, they were created by Anthony 'Airon' Oetzmann (aronchce@sp.zrz.tu-berlin.de) in December 1997 for the Gamespy 'Sound of Fury' Contest. Gamespy Launch Sounds - 1997
The classic "Welcome to Gamespy" and "Let's get on with the killing!" sound effects from Gamespy circa 1997. One night I was bored and ended up inevitably scouring the internet but couldn't find both of these effects on Youtube so I launched an important anthropological expedition to the bowels of the internet to recover these cultural relics! According to the WAV metadata, they were created by Anthony 'Airon' Oetzmann (aronchce@sp.zrz.tu-berlin.de) in December 1997 for the Gamespy 'Sound of Fury' Contest. GAMESPY SERVERS TO SHUTDOWN (Escapist News Now)
Long-running multiplayer server network GameSpy announced they will be shutting down the company's servers at the end of next month.
Parent company Glu stopped selling license agreements at the beginning of last year, and as of May 31st, all games currently using GameSpy will need to switch servers, or stop offering multiplayer.
There are around 800 developers and publishers that could be affected including games like Dungeon Defenders, Gotham City Impostors, and even Red Dead Redemption. Certain companies like Capcom have already come forward to say they are working on server migration solutions, but others like Trendy Entertainment have said they plan to cease certain multiplayer support for certain versions of games, like the PS3 and non-steam PC version of Dungeon Defenders.
It will also affect Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead and Arma 3, but developer Bohemia Interactive plans to migrate some services such as CD key authentication and NAT traversal to Steam.
GameSpy has had quite the run that spanned almost 20 years. They were acquired by IGN back in 2004, with GameSpy Technologies being sold off to Glu Mobile in 2012.

ADVERTENCIA!! Ultimamente me dicen alguno que se les daña el juego, otros que le funciona perfectamente, queda bajo tu responsabilidad descargarlo ya que es para el HALO que yo subi, no otros, y algo que pueden hacer es copiar su carpeta del juego y pegarla en anguna otra parte, asi si se les daña pueden borrar la carpeta dañada y poner la original que tenian.
Bueno, ahora les traigo un video para arreglar un problemita que salio hace poco en halo, disculpen si no me explico bien no suelo hacer mucho mis videos con mi voz, y tambien en la ultima parte el audio no me cuadro con el video, grabo mi voz con el celular y la uno al video con camtasia, creo que no lo acomode bien xD bueno si te sirvio dale me gusta y compartelo para que las prsonas puedan volver a los servers, suscribete si quieres juegos de pocos requisitos, hasta luego gente desconocida de youtube :D

The classic "Welcome to Gamespy" and "Let's get on with the killing!" sound effects from Gamespy circa 1997.
One night I was bored and ended up inevitably scouring the internet but couldn't find both of these effects on Youtube so I launched an important anthropological expedition to the bowels of the internet to recover these cultural relics!
According to the WAV metadata, they were created by Anthony 'Airon' Oetzmann (aronchce@sp.zrz.tu-berlin.de) in December 1997 for the Gamespy 'Sound of Fury' Contest. BIG UPS to mah main man Ants for creating a formative memory of my childhood.

One thing I don’t like in a game is the lack of opportunities to be a bastard. I am an out-and-out bastard in videogames and resent anything that tries to make me play fairly, or cooperatively, or with any sort of honour ... Enen when the game came out in 2000 – a time when players connected to each other through GameSpy and taut bits of string – I could only ever play against one other person in 640x480 resolution ... And it’s great ... ....
