Deputy crown prince breaks fast with soldiers on his return to Saudi

JEDDAH: Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived back in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday after a multi-week visit to France and the United States.
The deputy crown prince, who is also the defense minister, flew directly to Najran and had iftar (break of the fast meal) with the soldiers defending the Kingdom’s southern border.
The deputy crown prince then attended a defense meeting.
Prince Mohammed travelled to the US and met with President Obama before heading to the west coast to signed a number of important agreements with tech leaders. He also met France’s President Hollande earlier this week to boost the two nations’ strategic partnership.
