Denan Kemp is a retired Australian professional rugby league player, best known for his stints in the National Rugby League (NRL). Kemp's position of choice was on the wing. He played in the NRL for the Brisbane Broncos twice, the New Zealand Warriors and the St George Illawarra Dragons. He also had a brief stint in rugby union in 2011, playing for Southern Districts in the Shute Shield competition. He is of Turkish and New Zealand descent.
Originally a soccer player for Gold Coast premier club, Mudgeeraba SC, Kemp was spotted by scouts for the Brisbane Broncos and convinced to convert to rugby league. Kemp attended St Michaels College while pursuing his rugby league dream. Kemp went on to play rugby league with the Brisbane Wests in the Queensland Cup before joining Brisbane Broncos feeder club, the Toowoomba Clydesdales. He then was transferred to the Aspley Broncos in 2007 by the Brisbane Broncos.
Denan made his first grade debut for the Broncos in Round 10, 2007 against the Manly Sea Eagles. During the game Kemp scored an individual 75 metre try. This try was voted as the third best of the 2007 season by NRL.com. In 2007 Kemp ran the quickest 40m sprint time in the clubs history recording 4.85sec and hitting speeds up to 34 km/h.
Rugby league football, usually called rugby league, or simply league, is a full contact sport played by two teams of thirteen players on a rectangular field. One of the two codes of rugby football, it originated in England in 1895 as a split from the Rugby Football Union over the issue of payments to players. Its rules gradually changed with the purpose of producing a faster, more entertaining game for spectators. It has been cited as the toughest, most physically demanding of team sports.
In rugby league, points are scored by carrying the ball and touching it to the ground beyond the opposing team's goal line; this is called a try, and is the primary method of scoring. The opposing team attempts to stop the attacking side scoring points by tackling the player carrying the ball. In addition to tries, points can be scored by kicking goals. After each try, the scoring team gains a free kick to try at goal with a conversion for further points. Kicks at goal may also be awarded for penalties, and field goals can be attempted at any time.

In a Car is the Meat Puppets' first recording and was originally issued on L.A. art collective/record label World Imitation records as a 5 track 7" EP. It was recorded in Silver Lake studio in Los Angeles on June 4, 1981, with Ed Barger (who had engineered several early Devo singles). In a Car was first re-issued as a 7" on SST Records in 1985 after the success of their early LPs. The EP was also included on an SST compilation cassette (and later cd) "The 7 Inch Wonders of the World".
While the original EP featured only five tracks, six tracks were recorded at the session including the song "Hair" written by fellow World Imitation band Monitor. It was released as a lone Meat Puppets track on the first Monitor LP on World Imitation records. It was not on any Meat Puppets release until Rykodisc issued the song as a bonus track (with the entire first EP and many outtakes) on the 1999 reissue of the first LP, Meat Puppets.
All songs written by Meat Puppets.

This video shows Denan Kemp talking about his NRL carrer and about his new club the St George Illawarra Dragons. Denan even had a stint in Rugby Union and if I am correct he went on the tour to London but not with the Wallabies but with another Australian side I think. In 2008 Denan scored the winning try against the Parramatta Eels.
