Atanas Golomeev is a retired Bulgarian basketball player. He is considered as one of the best Bulgarian basketball players of all time. He was named one of FIBA's 50 Greatest Players in 1991.
Along with Bulgaria national basketball team he participated in 5 EuroBasket competitions (1969, 1971, 1973, 1975, 1977). In Eurobasket 1973 and Eurobasket 1975 he was the top scorer of the tournament, scoring 156 and 160 points successively.
Kristian Tsvetanov Golomeev (Bulgarian: Кристиан Цветанов Голомеев, Greek: Κριστιάν Γκολομέεβ) is a Greek-Bulgarian swimmer. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's 100 metre freestyle, finishing in 31st place (50.08) overall in the heats, failing to qualify for the semifinals.
He was born 4 July 1993 in Velingrad, Bulgaria. His mother, Kristina Golomeeva, died due to a medical error soon after giving birth to Kristian. His father, Tsvetan Golomeev, was a famous Bulgarian swimmer. He died in 2010 after eight-month fight with cancer. Kristian Golomeev has two brothers - Nikola and Ivan.
At 2011 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships - Lima (PER) Kristian Golomeev took 3rd place with time 22.80 (50m freestyle). At the 14th Luxembourg Euro Meet (27.29 January 2012) Golomeev finished 9th at Men's 100m freestyle with time 51.31 and was 4th at Men's 50m freestyle (22.92).

The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup is an annual corporate amateur golf tournament established by Turkish Airlines in 2013. Winners of global qualifiers meet at a Grand Final in Belek, Turkey in the same week as the Turkish Airlines Open.
The series started in 2013 with 12 events across the globe, increasing to 50 qualifiers in 2014, with around 4,500 players competing for 140 Grand Final places at 70 tournaments in 2015.
The 2016 tournament will expand to 100 different cities worldwide.
The overall winner, Han Liang from China, played in the Turkish Airlines Open pro-am with former world number one Tiger Woods.
Category A winner – Mitja Reinhart (Ljubljana) – 79 points over two rounds.
Category B winner - Joaquim Gallinal (Buenos Aires) – 77 points over two rounds.
The leading 10 Grand Finalists competed in the pro-am of the 2014 Turkish Airlines Open, the winners playing with Henrik Stenson and Martin Kaymer respectively.

Turkish Airlines was established on 20 May 1933 as State Airlines Administration (Turkish: Devlet Hava Yolları) as a department of the Ministry of National Defence. The initial fleet consisted of two five-seat Curtiss Kingbirds, two four-seat Junkers F.13s and one ten-seat Tupolev ANT-9. In 1935, the airline was turned over to the Ministry of Public Works and was subsequently renamed General Directorate of State Airlines. Three years later, in 1938, it became part of the Ministry of Transportation.
