Now it's time for you to learn how to sound like a real Thai when you order a beer, two cups of coffee, a papaya salad with 5 chilis and so on.
Thai grammar is generally very easy and straightforward, but sometimes it can be a little different from what you're used to, especially if your native language is English or another western language.
When we count things in Thai, or mention a specific amount of something, we need to use measure words that groups words together in categories that we call classifiers.
Don't worry. It's not complicated at all. Just a different way of thinking. Once you get the hang of it, you will speak like a Thai in no time.
These are 3 very common classifiers taught in this video:
an : "piece", used for many different (usually small) objects.
kon : "person", used for any nouns refering to people.
dtua : "body", used for animals, clothes, furniture, letters of the alphabet and much more.

Beer in Thailand
Brewing beer in Thailand began in 1933 with the granting of a brewing license to 57-year-old Phya Bhirom Bhakdi, or "Boon Rawd" Sreshthaputra. His company, Boon Rawd Brewery would produce Thailand's oldest and best-known lager, Singha (pronounced "sing"). Singha is sold in Thailand in standard (5% ABV), light (3.5% ABV), and draught versions.
Singha largest competitor is Chang beer, made by Thai Beverages. Chang is noted globally for its sponsorship of Liverpool's Everton football club, as its name and logo have appeared on the team uniform since 2004.
The Thai Asia Pacific Brewery (TAPB) at its Nonthaburi plant, brews Heineken (since 1995), Tiger, and Cheers and Cheers X-Tra (6.5% ABV). It is the Thai importer of Guinness and Kilkenny.
Boon Rawd Brewery also makes Leo, a standard lager (5% ABV). In addition, Thai Beverages sells Archa, a mass-market, non-premium lager. Boon Rawd Brewery also sold a global brand Mittweida, but this was replaced by a beer brewed in partnership with InBev, Kloster. It also sells a 6.5% lager called Thai Beer.

Now it's time for you to learn how to sound like a real Thai when you order a beer, two cups of coffee, a papaya salad with 5 chilis and so on.
Thai grammar is generally very easy and straightforward, but sometimes it can be a little different from what you're used to, especially if your native language is English or another western language.
When we count things in Thai, or mention a specific amount of something, we need to use measure words that groups words together in categories that we call classifiers.
Don't worry. It's not complicated at all. Just a different way of thinking. Once you get the hang of it, you will speak like a Thai in no time.
These are 3 very common classifiers taught in this video:
an : "piece", used for many different (usually small) objects.
kon : "person", used for any nouns refering to people.
dtua : "body", used for animals, clothes, furniture, letters of the alphabet and much more.

Now it's time for you to learn how to sound like a real Thai when you order a beer, two cups of coffee, a papaya salad with 5 chilis and so on.

Thel ocal craft beer is relatively new to Thailand due to making your own is illegal and its hard to get a license to make. There's 60 million Thais in Thailand and only 2 major beer makers. Everything else is imported and pricey. The 2 locally made beer is not good but cheap for people to drink. 7-11 in Thailand are very popular. whether it be food or drinks. They seem to be on every road, every 100 meters. They sell everything from alcohol, cigarettes, drinks, chips, beauty products, pens, paper, kids toys, ice creams, pre made meals fresh and frozen, noodles, dog food, baby food, toiletries and almost anything else that you can think of.
7-11 in Thailand are opened 7 days per week and 24 hours per day. They are very convenient when you need something at all times of the night and you can be sure the nearest 7-11 store is not to far away.
The first 7 Eleven store opened up in Bangkok Thailand back in 1989 on the world famous Patpong Road. Since then 7 Eleven has grown in popularity among the Thai people and Thailand now has the 3rd most number of 7-11 stores in the word, behind Japan and the United States.

Walking Street is part of the city of Pattaya, Thailand. It is a tourist attraction that draws foreigners and Thai nationals, primarily for the night life. It is a red-light district[1] with many go-go bars and brothels. The street runs from the south end of Beach Road to the Bali Hai Pier. A large video sign was erected in March 2010 at the Beach Road entrance, replacing an earlier metal arch, and a small arch adorns the Bali Hai entrance.
Walking Street is closed to vehicles from 6:00 pm to 2 am, and car parking is provided at the Bali Hai end. The area includes seafood restaurants, live music venues, beer bars, discothèques, sports bars, go-go bars, brothels, and nightclubs, and is illuminated at night by many colored neon signs. The closing time of 2:00 am has been extended for many entertainment establishments.

Bangkok vlog footage where I went to MBK, then on to Soi 4 for happy hour beers, then eating at soi 11, then on to Soi Cowboy, back to Soi 4 again for some pool, finally ending up in Climax Nightclub. Was very drunk at the end so apologies for any shaky camera.
The Chicken Burger at Burger King was probably the most average tasting thing ever.
Dinner at Charley Brown's was not 100% successful because the pork with pineapple and fish tacos tasted pretty bland. Will stick to chicken and beef tacos from now on.
The heavens opened up and I was marooned in Soi 11 for a little while, but it changed to manageable rain so I was able to walk around without getting too wet.

Thel ocal craft beer is relatively new to Thailand due to making your own is illegal and its hard to get a license to make. There's 60 million Thais in Thailand and only 2 major beer makers. Everything else is imported and pricey. The 2 locally made beer is not good but cheap for people to drink. I compare the current Thai beer movement similar to the whiskey making during prohibition in the US.
