With ‘Suicide Squad’ kicking up promotions just over a month away from the film’s release, Warner Bros. is reminding DC fans of the superheroes uniting across the pond for ‘Justice League.’ As part of the ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition’ – the extended R-rated director’s cut now available on digital HD and arriving on Blu-ray on July 19 – the studio has dropped concept art of the ‘Justice League’ team coming together.
Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman take the focal point of the concept art but all eyes are on Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The art work gives a better – full look – at The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman, all characters who were introduced during quick cameos in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.’
‘Justice League,’ currently being filmed just outside of London, arrives in theaters on November 17, 2017 with Zack Snyder at the helm. The adventure-fantasy, which will follow the releases of ‘Suicide Squad’ (August 5) and ‘Wonder Woman’ (June 2, 2017), also stars Amber Heard, J.K. Simmons, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, William Dafoe and Jeremy Irons.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
