Joseph Lowell Gordon (February 18, 1915 – April 14, 1978), nicknamed "Flash" in reference to the comic-book character Flash Gordon, was an American second baseman and manager in Major League Baseball who played for the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians from 1938 to 1950. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009.
Gordon was the outstanding player at his position during the 1940s, winning the 1942 American League MVP Award and being named to The Sporting News Major League All-Star Team in nine of his eleven seasons. Known for his acrobatic defense, he led the AL in assists four times and in double plays three times. He was the first AL second baseman to hit 20 home runs in a season, doing so seven times, holds the league mark for career HRs at second base (246), and he held the single-season record until 2001. He played a major role on the 1948 champion Indians, leading the team in homers and runs batted in. He ranked sixth in major league history in double plays (1,160) upon retiring, and was sixth in AL history in games (1,519), putouts (3,600), assists (4,706) and total chances (8,566) and seventh in fielding percentage (.970).

Unsung Heroes, also known as Unknown Heroes or more literally as Nameless Heroes, is a North Korean film series about a spy in Seoul during the Korean War. Over twenty hours long, it was filmed and released in multiple parts between 1978 and 1981. It was the recipient of the Kim Il-sung Medal.
Unsung Heroes received a widespread favourable reception in the domestic market, according to North Korean public media. Lead actor Kim Ryong-lin, who played the hero Yu Rim, stated that it was one of his favourite roles in over 20 years of acting; in a 1981 interview, he remarked that people had begun calling him Yu Rim instead of his real name after the series began, which he actually enjoyed because of his admiration for the character. Actress Kim Jung-hwa, who played female lead Kim Soon-hee, initially felt that she was unsuited for the role, as she had no prior military experience, or even experience playing a spy on-screen; her only preparation consisted of reading several books and interviewing real spies. The director Ryu Ho-son stated that his favourite scene was the one from the "Madonna Teahouse" in Part 5, in which former lovers Yu Rim and Kim Soon-hee each learn that the other is a North Korean agent.

When she finds them there hunting her down, she manages to escape them by hiding in the car of a newspaper reporter. She comes out of hiding while he is driving, but everything she says is misconstrued, making him believe that she is a recently-escaped convict, "The Singing Widow". He plans to use this as a story to get back into the good graces of his editor. Through some comic mishaps, he learns who she really is. He then decides to take her back to Hollywood to collect the reward for her return. But now love has entered the mix, and must be resolved with his job and her engagement to another.

Plot: Flash Casey, after working his way through college by taking pictures, finds the newspaper world harder to break into than he had expected. Free-lancing, he snaps a picture of Rodney Addison, son of the Globe-Press owner Major Addison, kissing French dancer Mitzi LaRue and submits it to Globe-Press city editor Blaine. He gets a job on the paper because Blaine wants to suppress the picture. He is confined to assisting regular staff photographer Wade who gets all the credit for the pictures Flash takes. His only bright spot is a romance with Kay Lanning, the paper's society editor and sob-sister columnist. Through her he meets Lawrence, editor of the weekly pictorial magazine called Snap News that the Globe-Press publishes. Gus Payton, the photographer assigned to Lawrence but who has been bribed by Bliane to turn over his best pictures to the city desk, quits when Lawrence accuses him of double-dealing. Payton opens a camera shop that is secretly financed by gangland chief Ricker. Flash goes to work for Lawrence and, as a favor to Kay, attends the Globe-Press annual charity garden-bazaar and takes random candid shots for her society page. Among them is a picture of Major Addison with his arms thrown casually around a young girl's shoulders. Flash takes the film to Payton's shop for development and Payton alters the shot to make Major Addison and the girl to appear, respectively, to be in pajamas and a negligee, and gives the picture to Ricka. Ricka attempts to blackmail Addison with a copy of the picture but Addison throws him out, and then shows Flash and Kay a copy of the picture and fires Flash. Followed by the protesting couple, Addison leaves the building and is shot down by Ricka, Payton and their henchman, waiting in a parked car.

This video was somewhat of a challenge to undertake as we had only a week between the Donington event and the Nissan Factory event but if Jon Calvert and the Mashamoto team can rebuild an entire car in that amount of time we can sure as hell get the Donington Film out. With two days of the week to spare after getting the Round 2 Film out to then spend a day travelling up to the factory didn't leave us much time to prepare but all hands were on deck with cameramen Fraser Gordon and Joe Orme on board to ensure the best was had from the event. Walking
Waiting
Alone without a care
Hoping
Hating
Things that I can't bear
Did you think it's cool
To walk right up
And take my life
And fuck it up
Well did you?
I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by surprise
Touching you makes me feel alive
Touching you makes me die inside
Walking Waiting
Alone without a care
Hoping
Hating
Things that I can't bear
Did you think it's cool
To walk right up
And take my life
And fuck it up
Well did you?
I hate you
I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by surprise
Touching you makes me feel alive
Touching you makes me die inside
I've slept so long without you
It's tearing me apart too
How'd it get this far
Playing games with this old heart
I've killed a million petty souls
But I couldn't kill you
I've slept so long without you
I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by surprise
Touching you makes me feel alive
