EDC Products Under $20 You Should Know About
For those who might not know, EDC stands for
Everyday Carry. So for those of you expecting a video about the
Electric Daisy Carnival we apologize for the confusion but this is not the video for you.
Anyway back to the original topic.
Everyday carry, in a nutshell, is the act of carrying certain items and products on a daily basis to fill everyday needs or possible emergency situations. There are a lot of products out there and if you are just getting started it can be hard to decide what items you should get first. So that’s where we come in, to show you 4 EDC items under $20 that you should know about, so let’s dive in shall we?
1.
Fisher Bullet Space Pen
You would think that pens are a thing of the past with how much things are digital these days but you might be surprised how useful they still are. They can come in great handy when you need to
sign something or make a quick note. The fisher bullet space pen is a personal favorite of ours, with it’s small and sleek design able to fit comfortably in your pocket.
Not to mention it’s cool ability to write underwater or in zero gravity. You can get one for $15.58 with a 4.
7 star rating on almost 700 reviews. Also if you would like the story behind the space pen, you can check out our older video here.
2. mTech Rescue Modified Tanto
Black Spring Assisted
One of the staples of EDC is carrying a trusty knife, in fact some serious enthusiasts will spend over $
100 on knives of the highest quality. However if you are just starting out, you might want to go with something a little more affordable to see if you like it. The mTech Modified Tanto is a spring assisted knife with great feedback. What’s also cool about it is that it has a steel tip for glass breaking and a seat belt cutter in case you have an emergency in your car. You can get one for $14.75 with a 4.4 star rating on over 80 reviews. Oh, and disclaimer:
Please make sure you research and understand all the laws in your city and or state about carrying a knife. We really don’t want to be the reason you end up in jail.
Okay? Okay!
3. Thorfire
Tactical flashlight PF01
You are probably thinking that you don’t need a flashlight because you already have one on your phone, but what is really nice about the Thorfire PF01 is that it has three different light settings depending on what you need and can illuminate a lot more in the dark than your smartphone plus it gives you the ability to still use your phone while you are working the flashlight for another purpose. You can get the thorfire for $14.99 with a 4.2 star rating on almost 600 reviews, so pick one up and use the power of
Thor to light up crap.
4.
Smith’s PP1 Pocket Pal Sharpener
This product is probably a little bit more for the EDC veteran but it’s still worth a mention. The more you use your knife the duller it gets, kind of like these jokes we make. Keeping it sharp is important to it’s usefulness and it saves you money by extending the life of the knife you already have instead of having to buy a new one.
It’s a great little add on item if you are making a bigger order of other EDC items, with a price tag of $7.73 and a 4.4 star rating on over
4500 reviews.
Remember knives are meant to be edgy and cool, keep them that way.
