BBI Centar is a modern shopping mall in the center of Sarajevo. It is one of the largest shopping malls in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stretching to 43 000 square meters. It was opened on the 6th of April, 2009. The BBI Centar was built on the site where Robna kuća Sarajka stood, which was the most popular shopping center during Yugoslav times. Construction started in early 2006 and finished in early 2009.
