Customer service in this country is absolute doo doo. But once in a while, someone amazing happens. His name is Joseph and he's a manager at Second Cup. He's the reason i used to drive all the way to West Hills Mall for coffee. He remembers people and their preferences, always happy to serve, never fazed...keep doing what you do, Sir. God bless you.

This was my third time to Ghana. My first two times I stayed at Movenpick, which is also very nice, but staying at Golden Tulip was considerably better. The live jazz music by the pool was so relaxing and the food was spectacular. Where Golden Tulip really defeats Movenpick, though, is with prices. You can get plenty of meals at Golden Tulip for 55-75 cedis and you can get a beer for 7-10 cedis. Movenpick is SO overpriced in food and drinks. The quality of the rooms and appearance of the lobby is similar in both but Golden Tulip offers much more pleasurable experience and also has better value.
