Wong Sun v. United States | 371 U.S. 471 (1963)
When you think about the Fourth Amendment’s exclusionary rule, you probably imagine physical evidence being suppressed based on an unconstitutional search or seizure. But what about a defendant’s confession given after an unconstitutional arrest? Can a confession be suppressed, too? The United States Supreme Court addressed this issue in Wong Sun versus United States.
Based on a tip that James Toy sold heroin from his laundry business, federal agents went there and knocked on the door. When the agents identified themselves, Toy ran back to his sleeping quarters in the building, and the agents chased Toy. They arrested Toy and interrogated him. Toy admitted to obtaining heroin from a dealer named Johnny Yee. Agents arrested Yee and seized his heroin. Yee told the agents that he had obtained the heroin from Wong Sun. The agents next went to Wong Sun’s residence, where they arrested him without a warrant.
Both Wong Sun and Toy were taken to federal court, arraigned on narcotics charges, and released on personal recognizance bonds. A few days later, while still out on bond, both men gave voluntary statements at the agents’ office. The agents first advised them of their rights to silence and counsel, and Toy and Wong Sun confessed to possessing heroin.
Both Wong Sun and Toy moved to suppress their confessions and Yee’s heroin seized by agents, as violations of the Fourth Amendment. The federal district court denied their motions. Wong Sun and Toy were convicted of federal heroin offenses at a bench trial. On their joint appeal, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit affirmed their convictions.
Wong Sun and Toy successfully petitioned the United States Supreme Court to review their cases.

Sun
The Sun (in Greek: Helios, in Latin: Sol) is the star at the center of the Solar System and is by far the most important source of energy for life on Earth. It is a nearly perfect spherical ball of hot plasma, with internal convective motion that generates a magnetic field via a dynamo process. Its diameter is about 109 times that of Earth, and it has a mass about 330,000 times that of Earth, accounting for about 99.86% of the total mass of the Solar System.About three quarters of the Sun's mass consists of hydrogen; the rest is mostly helium, with much smaller quantities of heavier elements, including oxygen, carbon, neon and iron.
The Sun is a G-type main-sequence star (G2V) based on spectral class and it is informally referred to as a yellow dwarf. It formed approximately 4.567 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of matter within a region of a large molecular cloud. Most of this matter gathered in the center, whereas the rest flattened into an orbiting disk that became the Solar System. The central mass became increasingly hot and dense, eventually initiating nuclear fusion in its core. It is thought that almost all stars form by this process.

Sun (Thomas Bergersen album)
Sun is the second stand-alone production album created by Thomas J. Bergersen from Two Steps from Hell, released on September 30, 2014. The release contains 16 tracks, featuring vocal performances by Merethe Soltvedt, Molly Conole and other vocalists. The album cover and artwork are designed by Bergersen himself. The album was announced for pre-order on September 9 across iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby, with the tracks "Empire of Angels," "Final Frontier," and "Starchild" made available on iTunes prior to the full release. In addition, a signed limited deluxe edition CD version has been scheduled for somewhere in 2015, set to include additional music, notes on each track written by Thomas, and a large-size poster featuring his artwork.

Wong (comics)
Wong is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the sidekick and valet of Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth. Wong was first mentioned in the comic Strange Tales #110 and first appeared in Strange Tales #147. In the 2006 miniseries Dr. Strange: the Oath, it was revealed that Wong stems from a family of monks living in Kamar-Taj. He has a cousin currently in training in the occult and has talked to him about one day replacing Wong as a servant to Dr. Strange.
Fictional character biography
Wong is the descendant and look-alike of Kan, a Chinese monk who lived roughly one thousand years ago and was a student of the occult. Kan was also a teacher and a healer, and though his order of monks was devoted to the ways of peace, he was also a skillful warrior who would fight when necessary.
One day Kan discovered a strange temple. Exploring it, Kan was drawn against his will through a mystical black mirror into an other-dimensional realm. There Kan met Jehan, king of Siridar, his sister, Princess Shialmar, and their court magician, Vung, the one who had cast the spell drawing Kan through the mirror. Jehan persuaded Kan to lead his people in a war against the Wizard Kings who ruled this other-dimensional realm. Kan agreed to do so. During his time in this realm, Kan and Shialmar fell in love with each other.

Wong Sun v. United States | 371 U.S. 471 (1963)
When you think about the Fourth Amendment’s exclusionary rule, you probably imagine physical evidence being suppressed based on an unconstitutional search or seizure. But what about a defendant’s confession given after an unconstitutional arrest? Can a confession be suppressed, too? The United States Supreme Court addressed this issue in Wong Sun versus United States.
Based on a tip that James Toy sold heroin from his laundry business, federal agents went there and knocked on the door. When the agents identified themselves, Toy ran back to his sleeping quarters in the building, and the agents chased Toy. They arrested Toy and interrogated him. Toy admitted to obtaining heroin from a dealer named Johnny Yee. Agents arrested Yee and seized his heroin. Yee told the agents that he had obtained the heroin from Wong Sun. The agents next went to Wong Sun’s residence, where they arrested him without a warrant.
Both Wong Sun and Toy were taken to federal court, arraigned on narcotics charges, and released on personal recognizance bonds. A few days later, while still out on bond, both men gave voluntary statements at the agents’ office. The agents first advised them of their rights to silence and counsel, and Toy and Wong Sun confessed to possessing heroin.
Both Wong Sun and Toy moved to suppress their confessions and Yee’s heroin seized by agents, as violations of the Fourth Amendment. The federal district court denied their motions. Wong Sun and Toy were convicted of federal heroin offenses at a bench trial. On their joint appeal, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit affirmed their convictions.
Wong Sun and Toy successfully petitioned the United States Supreme Court to review their cases.

Our society, the Fong Leun Tong Society ( 鳳倫堂 ) used to have a building which provided cheap housing for Seto Clan members. That building at 718 East Pender Street has been sold several years ago. We cannot provide cheap housing for Clan members like we used to do. In the early days, our society was known as Gao Lun Tong.
