The Mafia Boss is the remake of my original series The Boss!!!
It's been 3 years since I've made a voice overs series and I must admit it was a lot of fun! But also a lot of work. I feel like I've been filming it forever haha.
I'd like to thank the amazing and talented voice actors without whom this episode wouldn't have turned out the way it did!

Story:
Violet Monroe is an average highschool girl from District 3 (Low Class) who lives with her mother and two younger siblings. Her days are always the same. She takes care of her sibling, go to school, then to her part-time job at the Flower Shop then heads goes to bed. She finds her life very monotone and boring and often wishes for something interesting, new and exciting would happen her life. If she knew how bad things could turn out just by meeting Caius Lucius Neigé the most influential person in Avalon, the Governor of District 1 and the Crown Prince she probably would have never wished for anything. Her life gets even more complicated when she saves a mysterious man who seems to be a homeless person at first glance. This is a love triangle and it's modified from The Boss. It will have scenes that aren't present in the original series.

Hello everyone! Finally after a smaller delay I bring you episode 2 of The Mafia Boss. I apologize for getting this out later but I had some issues with Jurian's previous VA and he had to be replaced. Luckily I found someone much better and extremely talented to fill Juju's role.
I do realize the quality isn't the best but that's because I switched screen capture softwares and I'm still in the process of learning how to use it.
Even tho this episode is very similar from episode 1 of The Boss the story won't 100% follow it. I changed quite a few things and I'm actually very happy with it.
I would like to thank the amazing VA who did such an amazing job! They make my work so much easier! Everyone sends their lines in very fast and they are dedicated, it's a joy to work with them.

A crime boss or boss is a person in charge of a criminal organization. A boss typically has absolute or near-absolute control over his subordinates, is greatly feared by his subordinates for his ruthlessness and willingness to take lives in order to exert his influence, and profits come from the criminal endeavors his organization engages in.
Some groups may only have as little as two ranks (a boss and his soldiers). Other groups have a more complex, structured organization with many ranks, and structure may vary with cultural background.
There is a typical structure which crime organizations may operate under. The Mafia, being a very prominent example, is not the only one. The typical structure within the Sicilian and American Mafia is usually as follows:
A boss will typically put up layers of insulation between himself and his men in order to defeat law enforcement efforts to arrest him. Whenever he issues orders, he does so either to his underboss, consigliere or capos. The orders are then passed down the line to the soldiers. This makes it difficult under most circumstances to directly implicate a boss in a crime, since he almost never directly gives orders to the soldiers.

I apologize for getting this out later but I had some issues with Jurian's previous VA and he had to be replaced. Luckily I found someone much better and extremely talented to fill Juju's role. I do realize the quality isn't the best but that's because I switched screen capture softwares and I'm still in the process of learning how to use it. Story:
Violet Monroe is an average highschool girl from District 3 (Low Class) who lives with her mother and two younger siblings. Her days are always the same. She takes care of her sibling, go to school, then to her part-time job at the Flower Shop then heads goes to bed. She finds her life very monotone and boring and often wishes for something interesting, new and exciting would happen her life. If she knew how bad things could turn out just by meeting Caius Lucius Neigé the most influential person in Avalon, the Governor of District 1 and the Crown Prince she probably would have never wished for anything. Her life gets even more complicated when she saves a mysterious man who seems to be a homeless person at first glance. This is a love triangle and it's modified from The Boss. It will have scenes that aren't present in the original series.

Hello everyone! Finally after a smaller delay I bring you episode 2 of The Mafia Boss. I apologize for getting this out later but I had some issues with Jurian's previous VA and he had to be replaced. Luckily I found someone much better and extremely talented to fill Juju's role.
I do realize the quality isn't the best but that's because I switched screen capture softwares and I'm still in the process of learning how to use it.
Even tho this episode is very similar from episode 1 of The Boss the story won't 100% follow it. I changed quite a few things and I'm actually very happy with it.
I would like to thank the amazing VA who did such an amazing job! They make my work so much easier! Everyone sends their lines in very fast and they are dedicated, it's a joy to work with them.

In recent years, however, his routine had become simpler and more sedate.
Johnny Papalia was one of North America’s longest-reigning Mafia bosses and Ontario’s preeminent Mafia boss during some of the most momentous events in underworld history — from the riches of Prohibition to the famed French Connection heroin smuggling ring, the Americanization of the Mafia to its attempts at corporate legitimacy.
In the mid-1950s, John Papalia emerged as the representative in Canada of Buffalo’s then-powerful La Cosa Nostra family in Canada, under American Mafia boss Stefano Magaddino.
Papalia was called “Johnny Pops,” “Canada’s Capone,” “Godfather” or, to those who didn’t like him or who feared him, “The Enforcer.”
On what would be his last day alive, Johnny Papalia left his messy penthouse apartment in downtown Hamilton, Ontario, late in the morning, and drove his giant Oldsmobile the five short blocks to his office on Railway Street, a cluttered, dead-end road in an old, working-class neighborhood.
Cops called his locked and alarmed office “Fort Knox.”
It was here a Mafia hit man for a rival mob family came to visit.
They talked in the parking lot for a few minutes, the conversation waned, his killer pushed a gun to the back of his head — looked away — and pulled the trigger. The single .38-calibre bullet entered John Papalia’s head near his left ear and pushed through his brain.
It was a violent and undignified end to a raucous and historically important gangland life.

There has been outrage after Italian state television aired an interview with the son of one of the country's most infamous Mafia bosses. Giuseppe Salvatore Riina appeared on RAI to promote a book dedicated to his father, Toto Riina. He did not condemn his father, thought to have ordered more than 150 murders while boss of Sicily's Cosa Nostra. Executives at RAI have been summoned to Italy's anti-Mafia parliamentary committee. Reports on how Luciano earned the nickname, “Lucky” vary greatly, mainly due to the fact that Luciano himself would provide different accounts when questioned about it. Common belief is that the name stuck after he escaped from & survived multiple murder attempts, some of which Meyer Lansky saved him from. In 1929, Luciano was abducted by a group of men who beat & stabbed him then left him for dead on a Staten Island beach. He was discovered by the police & taken to a nearby hospital where, miraculously, he survived; although it did leave him with a scarred chin & his characteristic drooping right eye.
After winning $244 in a street dice game, Luciano quit the only legitimate job he would ever have in his life doing hat delivery & instead, devoted himself to making money on the streets. By 1916, he was a leading member of the Five Points Gang, a violent New York City-based youth gang who's members were mainly Italian-American. It was at around this time that he also befriended rising Jewish gangster, Meyer Lansky. Their paths crossed when Luciano's gang targeted a skinny Jewish kid whose bold defiance won their respect. That skinny Jewish kid was of course Meyer Lansky. Luciano & Lansky would go on to become friends for life. The two would play a crucial role in the Mafia's development as Luciano rebuilt the mob with Lansky as its architect.
The 1920s alcohol prohibition created many opportunities for criminals to make large amounts of money. Through this, “Lucky” Luciano became one of the “Big 6,” a group of six men who dominated the illegal liquor trade on the East Coast. Also included in this group was Lucky's childhood friend Meyer Lansky, Bugsy Siegel, Louis “Lepke” Buchalter, Jacob “Gurrah” Shapiro, & Abner “Longy” Zwillman. By 1927, Luciano was appointed to top lieutenant to Giuseppe “Joe the Boss” Masseria, head of New York's largest crime family & the man that controlled Mafia operations in the United States in the 1920s.
The late 1920s also saw the breakout of the Castellammarese War, which eventually allowed Luciano to take control of the Genovese family & ultimately establish The Commission. The Castellammarese War was a bloody power struggle for control over the Italian-American Mafia between partisans of Joe "The Boss" Masseria and those of Salvatore Maranzano. Maranzano was sent to New York by powerful Sicilian mafioso Don Vito Ferro to attempt to seize control of operations there.
Big blows were traded for about a year, with members of both sides being killed on a regular basis. Tensions began rising but in the end, Masseria lost more high-profile members than Maranzano. Because of this, Luciano, Tommy Lucchese, & Vito Genovese—all of whom were high-ranking leaders within the Masseria family—grew tired of the bloodshed & the impact it had on their business. They saw this as a window of opportunity & thus, began communications with Maranzano & in doing so, betrayed Masseria.
Betrayals of this kind within Mafia circles always ends in death. In 1931, Luciano arranged to have Masseria killed following a lavish lunch at a Coney Island restaurant. “Joe the Boss” ultimately ate lead that afternoon. With Maranzano's blessings, Luciano took over Masseria's gang and also became Maranzano's lieutenant. This move marked the end of the Castellammarese War, but nevertheless, the bloodshed continued.
Lucky had a vision of replacing traditional Sicilian strong-arm methods with a corporate structure, a board of directors, & systematic infiltration of legitimate enterprise. But his vision failed to impress Maranzano. Maranzano found Lucky too ambitious, too enterprising, and all-in-all too dangerous. He planned to have Luciano whacked as well in order to pave the way for him to rule New York with an iron fist as capo di tutti capi, or boss of all bosses. Maranzano also saw Lucchese and Gagliano as now his own men when in reality, their loyalty was only towards Luciano. So when Lucchese heard of Maranzano's plans to have Luciano whacked, he tipped off Luciano.

There has been outrage after Italian state television aired an interview with the son of one of the country's most infamous Mafia bosses.
Giuseppe Salvatore Riina appeared on RAI to promote a book dedicated to his father, Toto Riina.
He did not condemn his father, thought to have ordered more than 150 murders while boss of Sicily's Cosa Nostra.
Executives at RAI have been summoned to Italy's anti-Mafia parliamentary committee.
During the interview the younger Riina, himself a convicted mobster, said he had a happy childhood, calling his father "an upstanding man who respects family and traditional values".

Inside the largest police probe against the Mafia in Canada, Project Colisée was an immense three-year investigation into the Rizzuto clan, the long-time head of the powerful Mafia in Montreal.
The investigation finally pierced through to the core, the inner sanctum of the Sicilian Mafia in the city, which was the most powerful and successful criminal organization Canada has known. Investigators placed wiretaps and cameras in their key meeting spots, including the Club Social Consenza, the senior Rizzuto leadership’s café where they met in the back room to divide cash between them.
Police found many targets to chase: cocaine importation; corruption and bribery of government officials; online bookmaking and gambling; acts of violence; and other crimes. Other evidence was not pursued by police, such as the hours of meetings between mobsters and businessmen where cash was handed over, footage that was eventually shown at the Charbonneau commission into corruption in Quebec’s construction industry.
The primary target was initially Vito Rizzuto, the boss of the organization. When Vito was arrested on racketeering charges in the United States for three gangland murders (the “three captains” murders immortalized in the film Donnie Brasco), their priority shifted to the remaining inner circle.
After sweeping raids, police arrested six key leaders, including: Nicolo Rizzuto, Vito’s father and the family’s patriarch; Paolo Renda, Vito’s brother-in-law and his consigliore; Rocco Sollecito, a senior and long-time member; and Francesco Arcadi, who was the street boss. Also arrested were the heads of their street crews who backed up Vito’s words with muscle and bullets: Francesco Del Balso and Lorenzo Giordano.
Arrests and raids were made on Nov. 22, 2006. The six leaders accepted guilty pleas in Sept. 2008.
It was the beginning of the end for the Rizzuto clan’s stranglehold on the mob.

The Gambino crime family is one of the "Five Families" that dominates organized crime activities in New York City, United States, within the nationwide criminal phenomenon known as the Mafia (or Cosa Nostra). The family originated in the early 1920s with Gaetano Reina serving as boss up until his murder in 1930.[2] It was taken over by Tommy Gagliano during the Castellammarese War, and led by him until his death in 1951. The family under Gagliano was peaceful and low key, concentrating their criminal actives in the Bronx, Manhattan and New Jersey. The next boss was Tommy Lucchese, who turned the family around to became one of the most powerful families to sit on the Commission. Lucchese teamed up with Gambino crime family boss Carlo Gambino to control organized crime in New York City. When Lucchese died of natural causes in 1967, Carmine Tramunti controlled the family for a brief time; he was arrested in 1973. Anthony Corallo then gained control of the family. Corallo was very secretive and soon became one of the most powerful members of the Commission. He was arrested and convicted in the famous Commission case of 1986.
For most of its history, the Lucchese family was reckoned as one of the most peaceful crime families in the nation. However, that changed when Corallo named Victor Amuso his successor shortly before going to prison. Amuso later promoted one of his longtime partners, Anthony Casso to underboss. They instituted one of the bloodiest reigns in Mafia history, ordering virtually anyone who crossed them to be murdered. Amuso was arrested in 1991 and sentenced to life in prison. Several Lucchese wiseguys, fearing for their lives, turned informant. The highest-profile of these was acting boss Alphonse D'Arco, who became the first boss of a New York crime family to testify against the mob. This led to the arrest of the entire Lucchese family hierarchy, with Casso also becoming an informant. Testimony from these informants nearly destroyed the family, with as many as half of its members incarcerated. Amuso has continued to rule the family from prison.

Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano (born March 12, 1945) is a former underboss of the Gambino crime family. He is known as the man who helped bring down John Gotti, the family's boss, by agreeing to become a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) government witness.
Originally a mobster for the Colombo crime family, and later for the Brooklyn faction of the Gambinos, Gravano participated in the conspiracy to murder Gambino boss Paul Castellano. In dem von Hudson Soft entwickelten Mario Party für die tragbare Konsole "GameBoy Advance" wurden sogenannte Giddings aus Pilz-City gestohlen und die Party-Welt somit lahm gelegt. Natürlich steckt Bowser und sein Lieblingsscherge Bowser Jr. dahinter. Sie stürzen nicht nur Pilz-City sondern auch alle anderen angrenzenden Regionen in große Probleme. Es liegt nun an Mario, Luigi, Peach und Yoshi den Bewohnern der Regionen zu helfen und sich die Giddings zurück zu verdienen, um wieder Spaß im Party-Land haben zu können. Dabei wird wie in der Mario Party Serie üblich, bei jedem Zug gewürfelt. Der Würfel zeigt die Zahlen 1 bis 10. Es gibt verschiedene Felder, welche sich aber von den bis dato bekannten unterscheiden (Zum Beispiel neutral, noch mal würfeln, einen Würfel verlieren), so wie sich das gesamte Spielprinzip von den anderen Partys maßgeblich unterscheidet, denn es gibt quasi nur diesen Story-Modus für den Einzelspieler und keinen Party-Modus, wie sonst üblich. Dies ist zudem der schwerwiegendste Kritikpunkt des Spiels.Minispiele sind aber nach wie vor mit dabei. Sie dienen dazu, neue Pilze, die für das Würfeln notwendig sind, zu gewinnen. Die Pilze sind sozusagen die Anzahl an Züge, die der Spieler hat. Somit ist es auch möglich, in dieser Mario Party GameOver zu gehen, was aber nicht weiter schlimm ist, da der Fortschritt gespeichert wird. Das kritisch beäugte Spiel erschien am 10. Juni 2005 in Europa, war das erste mobile Mario-Party Game für eine portable Konsole und verkaufte sich um die 1,0 Mio mal.

Being good Americans, we take the position that anyone who is arrested and charged with multiple crimes is innocent until proven guilty. That's more than California state senator Leland Yee (D) has done for gun owners in the past. In August 2012, Yee said "no one will convince me it's anything other than a joke to say that having multiple clips and semi-automatic weapons that can shoot 100 or more bullets at a time is necessary in this state or in this country, it's ridiculous."
Now, Yee has other things with which to concern himself, and none is a joking matter.
The San Jose Mercury-News reports that "Yee now is accused of consorting with notorious felons, accepting money for his cash-strapped political campaigns in exchange for favors and promising undercover FBI agents he could deliver connections to international gun runners." Additionally, he "is depicted in a startling, 137-page FBI affidavit of repeatedly offering to broker illegal firearms sales in exchange for campaign contributions," and he is "linked to a host of wrongdoing to pad his political war chest, charged with seven felonies in a case with two dozen defendants accused of everything from money laundering to murder-for-hire."
The Sacramento Bee reports that also arrested along with Yee was one Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow, a former Chinatown organized crime figure who once served time in prison for gun trafficking, and who radical gun control supporter Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) later praised as a model of reform. The paper separately reports that "The FBI affidavit attached to the corruption case of state Sen. Leland Yee details a world of armaments: bulletproof vests, revolvers, assault rifles, shoulder-fired rockets and mines."
KRON-4, a San Francisco-area station, reports that Yee "asked for campaign donations in exchange for introducing an undercover FBI agent to an arms trafficker." Court documents posted with the KRON-4 article assert that "According to Senator Yee, the arms dealer had contacts in Russia, Ukraine, Boston and Southern California. . . . Senator Yee said, 'Do I think we can make some money? I think we can make some money. Do I think we can get the good? I think we can get the goods.' . . . Senator Yee said 'Because, I'm getting a little more into this, it's not just Russia; the Muslim countries have sources too'. . . Senator Yee asked [another person involved] if he wanted 'automatic weapons' as opposed to semi-automatic weapons."
Like Chow, Yee, too, is popular with gun control supporters. In 2006, the Brady Campaign rated Yee an "A+" and named him to the group's so-called "Gun Violence Prevention Honor Roll." In bestowing the "honor," the Brady Campaign noted that Yee had sponsored legislation to require semi-automatic handguns to have micro-stamping features and had supported a variety of other gun control proposals.
Now, gun control advocates join Yee in having other things with which to concern themselves. The Associated Press reports "Gun-control groups (are) trying to find a new legislative leader to champion firearms restrictions after one of their most outspoken supporters was charged in a federal gun-trafficking case."
Until now, Yee had been campaigning to be elected as California's Secretary of State. He has since withdrawn from the race. SF Gate reports that Yee's lawyer sized up his client's situation by saying "The future will hold a lot of work."

Court documents posted with the KRON-4 article assert that "According to Senator Yee, the arms dealer had contacts in Russia, Ukraine, Boston and Southern California. . . . Senator Yee said, 'Do I think we can make some money? I think we can make some money. Do I think we can get the good? I think we can get the goods.' . . . Senator Yee said 'Because, I'm getting a little more into this, it's not just Russia; the Muslim countries have sources too'. . . Senator Yee asked [another person involved] if he wanted 'automatic weapons' as opposed to semi-automatic weapons."
Like Chow, Yee, too, is popular with gun control supporters. In 2006, the Brady Campaign rated Yee an "A+" and named him to the group's so-called "Gun Violence Prevention Honor Roll." In bestowing the "honor," the Brady Campaign noted that Yee had sponsored legislation to require semi-automatic handguns to have micro-stamping features and had supported a variety of other gun control proposals.
Now, gun control advocates join Yee in having other things with which to concern themselves. The Associated Press reports "Gun-control groups (are) trying to find a new legislative leader to champion firearms restrictions after one of their most outspoken supporters was charged in a federal gun-trafficking case."
Until now, Yee had been campaigning to be elected as California's Secretary of State. He has since withdrawn from the race. SF Gate reports that Yee's lawyer sized up his client's situation by saying "The future will hold a lot of work."
No doubt it will.
