Become One

Become One was a German boy/girl pop band. The six-members of the band were chosen by a casting German reality television show called Fame Academy, a German version of the international Star Academy franchise and hosted by Nova Meierhenrich on the German television channel RTL II. The band was formed in 2003 and had two singles and one album.

The debut single with the winning song "I Don't Need Your Alibis". The single was produced by Michael Kersting and released the following week after the finale. It charted in Germany reaching number 16 staying 9 weeks in the German Official Singles Chart. It was also a hit in Switzerland and Austria where the show was also available. The band released their album 1 in January 2004. The album reached number 24 in Germany staying 4 weeks in the albums chart. A follow-up single "Come Clean" did poorly in sales. The band announced they were disbanding on 25 July 2004, after a series of concerts culminating at Freizeit-Land Geiselwind, near Nuremberg.

Titanfall

Titanfall is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on March 11, 2014; an Xbox 360 version ported by Bluepoint Games was released April 8, 2014. The game was highly anticipated as the debut title from developers formerly behind the successful Call of Duty franchise.

In Titanfall, players control "pilots" and their mech-style Titans, and fight in six-on-six matches set in war-torn outer space colonies. The game is optimized for fast-paced, continual action, aided by wall-running abilities and populations of computer-controlled soldiers. Up to 50 characters can be active in a single game, and non-player activity is offloaded to Microsoft's cloud computing services to optimize local graphical performance. The game's development team began work on the title in 2011, and their Titan concept grew from a human-sized suit into a battle tank exoskeleton. The team sought to bring "scale, verticality, and story" to its multiplayer genre through elements traditionally reserved for single-player campaigns. The 65-person project took inspiration from Blade Runner, Star Wars, Abrams Battle Tank, and Masamune Shirow of Ghost in the Shell.

Become (album)

Become is the first studio album by Swedish progressive metal band Seventh Wonder. It consists of nine tracks; however, the ninth track is unlisted and untitled.

Making-of

In cinema, a making-of, also known as behind-the-scenes, the set or on the set is a documentary film that features the production of a film or television program. This is often referred to as the EPK (electronic press kit) video, due to its main usage as a promotional tool, either concurrent with theatrical release or as a bonus feature for the film's DVD.

Feature length documentaries on the making of other films has become a film genre in its own right. The making-of film may ultimately be more important than the film itself. In the case of Lost in La Mancha, the making-of video ended up documenting the collapse and abandonment of the feature film it was covering (The Man Who Killed Don Quixote), and ultimately the making-of video was the only part of the production to see a commercial release as a theatrical documentary feature.

Shorter making-of documentaries are often used as a bonus on DVDs, as it offers more insight into the film, how it was made, and to credit the film crew. Occasionally, some films have included a "making of the making-of" as a joke. The making-of is also often released for TV as a part of the promotion of the film.

Blur Studio

Blur Studio is an American visual effects, animation and design company. Blur produces 3D character animation, motion design and visual effects for feature films and television, game cinematics and trailers, large format films, location-based entertainment, commercials and integrated media. The company is located in Culver City, California.

History

Blur Studio was founded in 1995 by David Stinnett, Tim Miller and Cat Chapman. In 2004, Blur was nominated for its first Academy Award for its original short film, Gopher Broke. This is one of five original films the studio has written, directed and created over a few years to develop original content and build a solid pipeline that can expand for feature film production. They have several projects in development, spanning all genres; sci-fi, action/adventure, fantasy as well as family features. And in addition to in-house development, Blur has also joined forces with several accomplished directors and writers to develop feature films. They also created the "Heaven and Hell" sequence for South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
