The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is an ground attack aircraft one seater,it have twin engine and wing straight, developed in the US by the company Fairchild-Republic in the early 1970s . It was designed at the request of the Air Force United States (USAF) to provide close air support (CAS) for ground forces by attacking tanks , armored vehicles and other ground targets with a limited capacity air interdiction . It is the first USAF aircraft designed exclusively for CAS missions.
The A-10 is designed around the GAU-8 Avenger , a powerful rotary cannon which forms the main armament of the device. The fuselage of the aircraft features about 540 kg of armor and its design is intended to give priority to the survival of the plane, with the protective measures necessary to enable the aircraft to remain airborne even after suffering significant damage.
Its official nickname Thunderbolt II (' thunder 'in English ), comes from the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt of World War II, a fighter bomber that was particularly effective at close air support mission. However, the A-10 is better known by his nickname Warthog or simply Hog. As a secondary mission, it provides forward air control , guiding other aircraft against ground targets. A-10s used primarily in that mission were designated OA-10.
He has participated in combat operations in the Gulf War , in conflicts in Bosnia and Kosovo in the Afghanistan War and the Iraq War . After being modernized several times, it is expected that the A-10 is not replaced by the new F-35 Lightning II until 2028 or later.

Thunderbolt
A thunderbolt or lightning bolt is a symbolic representation of lightning when accompanied by a loud thunderclap. In ancient Hellenic and Roman religious traditions, the thunderbolt represents Zeus or Jupiter (etymologically 'Sky Father'), thence the origin and ordaining pattern of the universe, as expressed in Heraclitus' fragment describing "the Thunderbolt that steers the course of all things". It is the same in other Indo-European traditions, for example the Vedic Vajra.
In its original usage the word may also have been a description of the consequences of a close approach between two planetary cosmic bodies, as Plato suggested in Timaeus, or, according to Victor Clube, meteors, though this is not currently the case. As a divine manifestation the thunderbolt has been a powerful symbol throughout history, and has appeared in many mythologies. Drawing from this powerful association, the thunderbolt is often found in military symbolism and semiotic representations of electricity.

Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan, SBS, MBE,PMW, (born Chan Kong-sang, 陳港生; 7 April 1954) is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, film director, producer, stuntman, and singer. In his movies, he is known for his acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, use of improvised weapons, and innovative stunts, which he typically performs himself. Chan has been training in Kung fu and Wing Chun. He has been acting since the 1960s and has appeared in over 150 films.
Chan has received stars on the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a cultural icon, Chan has been referenced in various pop songs, cartoons, and video games. An operatically trained vocalist, Chan is also a Cantopop and Mandopop star, having released a number of albums and sung many of the theme songs for the films in which he has starred. He is also a notable philanthropist. In 2015, Forbes magazine estimated his net worth to be $350 million.
Early life
Chan was born on 7 April 1954, in British Hong Kong, as Chan Kong-sang, to Charles and Lee-Lee Chan, refugees from the Chinese Civil War. He was nicknamed Pao-pao Chinese: 炮炮 ("Cannonball") because the energetic child was always rolling around. His parents worked for the French ambassador in Hong Kong, and Chan spent his formative years within the grounds of the consul's residence in the Victoria Peak district.

This one-of-a-kind Zamperla custom looping coaster has a 125 foot tall vertical lift hill and reaches a top speed of 65 mph. It also has four inversions - a loop, zero-g roll, a dive loop and a corkscrew - as well as a Stengel dive and a pair of ejector airtime hills over its 2,000 foot circuit. He has participated in combat operations in the Gulf War , in conflicts in Bosnia and Kosovo in the Afghanistan War and the Iraq War . After being modernized several times, it is expected that the A-10 is not replaced by the new F-35 Lightning II until 2028 or later.
