Lincoln City can refer to:
The National League of Professional Baseball Clubs, known simply as the National League (NL), is the older of two leagues constituting Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States and Canada, and the world's oldest current professional team sports league. Founded on February 2, 1876, to replace the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players, it is sometimes called the Senior Circuit, in contrast to MLB's other league, the American League, which was founded 25 years later. Both leagues currently have 15 teams. The two league champions of 1903 arranged to compete against each other in the inaugural World Series. After the 1904 champions failed to reach a similar agreement, the two leagues formalized the World Series as an arrangement between the leagues. National League teams have won 47 of the 111 World Series contested from 1903 to 2015.
By 1875, the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players was dangerously weak. The N.A. suffered from a lack of strong authority over clubs, unsupervised scheduling, unstable membership, dominance by one team (the Boston Red Stockings), and an extremely low entry fee ($10) that gave clubs no incentive to abide by league rules when it was not convenient.
The National League is an association football league in England consisting of three divisions, the National League, National League North and National League South. Before the 2015–16 season, the league was known as the Football Conference. As part of a new sponsorship deal with Vanarama, the league is known as the Vanarama National League. Around half the National League clubs are fully professional, whilst most National League North and National League South clubs are semi-professional. The professional clubs are usually clubs which have been in the Football League in the past, as opposed to those who have always been Non-League. The National League is the lowest of the five nationwide football divisions in England, below the Premier League and the three divisions of the Football League, and is the top tier of the National League System of non-League football. The National League North and National League South form the sixth tier of English football. The National League consisted of only one division until 2004, but expanded as part of an extensive restructuring of the National League System which took effect beginning with the 2004–05 season.
Sincil Bank is a football stadium in Lincoln, England which has been the home of Lincoln City since 1895. Previously, Lincoln City had played at the nearby John O'Gaunts ground since the club's 1884 inception. Sincil Bank has an overall capacity of 10,120 and is colloquially known to fans as "The Bank". It is overlooked by Lincoln Cathedral. Former Lincoln City chairman John Reames re-purchased the ground from the local council in 2000 at a cost of £175,000. The club had sold it in 1982 for £225,000 in order to fend off the threat of eviction, arranging a 125-year lease.
Sincil Bank hosted England's 2–0 win over Scotland in the Victory Shield on 28 November 2008.Martin Peters paraded the FIFA World Cup Trophy at the ground in March 2010 as part of its global tour.
A city is a large and permanent human settlement. Although there is no agreement on how a city is distinguished from a town in general English language meanings, many cities have a particular administrative, legal, or historical status based on local law.
Cities generally have complex systems for sanitation, utilities, land usage, housing, and transportation. The concentration of development greatly facilitates interaction between people and businesses, benefiting both parties in the process, but it also presents challenges to managing urban growth.
A big city or metropolis usually has associated suburbs and exurbs. Such cities are usually associated with metropolitan areas and urban areas, creating numerous business commuters traveling to urban centers for employment. Once a city expands far enough to reach another city, this region can be deemed a conurbation or megalopolis. In terms of population, the largest city proper is Shanghai, while the fastest-growing is Dubai.
There is not enough evidence to assert what conditions gave rise to the first cities. Some theorists have speculated on what they consider suitable pre-conditions and basic mechanisms that might have been important driving forces.

A good performance, but Hamza Bencherif's screamer isn't enough to earn a point from a controversial evening. To see full post-match videos and highlights, plus access to live commentary, subscribe to Wrexham Player.

A tiny minority of so-called Lincoln City 'supporters' disgraced our football club with unacceptable behaviour during and after the match against Barnet on 26th April 2014. This footage is strictly copyright of The News Hound Ltd, but we are happy for it to be used by the police and the football club in pursuit of the criminal vermin who give the football club a bad name. You are not true supporters of Lincoln City and you are not welcome at Sincil Bank.

Happy Birthday, Lincoln City!! Lincoln City, Oregon September 19, 2015
I plead dont wake me up
leave my head in the clouds
as the world slips through my fingers
I cant remember being whole before
I wouldnt wish this on my enemies
and in the aftermath my eyes will see
father dont blame yourself anymore
its over forgive and let it be
I felt myself let go
and struggled just to breathe
my worst fears paralyzed me
give me back one more day
I'll stand with the ocean at my knees
and let the wind fingerprint me
I can feel your arms around me
I know you'll always be there
the nights so endless with shame
those thoughts I dont want to remember
you know I built this temple for you
dont burn it until you are ready
you gave me strength to hold the world
but I couldnt hold myself together
now that day is far behind me
but in my heart you'll live forever
Ive stood in the cold so many nights
and let the rains baptise me
If you stare right into the clouds
Youll steal me in serenity
everyday before I put my head to sleep
We're on the beach in lincoln city
After the dust had cleared
I saw that you had never left me
Just as lost as I was that year
No one would ever take me
when I look into the crowd every night
