This dendrobium has been in bloom for months now. It is a brightly colored bloom that i enjoy. I was able to have this from Exotic Orchids here on Maui. It is prolific and already has grown several new canes. This is also used for making the leis for the visitors here to our island.

Supremely Blissful Vajra Vidyadhara Garab Dorje- was 1st human master of Atiyoga*Dzogchen, born around 360 years B.C. after the Parinirvana of the Buddha. He was born at Dhanakosha in the country of Uddiyana (probably Swat valley in N Pakistan). As emanation of Sambhogakaya Buddha Vajrasattva he revealed 6.400.000 Dharmas which were later divided into Semde, Longde and Mengak-de teachings of Atiyoga*Dzogchen. Supreme Dharmas like 18 tantras of Upadesha are most sublime spiritual teachings in our galaxy. They exist in 13 other galaxies. This Dharmas will benefit beings until samsara is emptied. Garab Dorje taught 3 Testaments to his heart disciple Manjushrimitra when he was about to leave this world. Penetration of Sound root tantra (Tib. dra tal gyur) is 1st of 18 tantras it has close connection with 3 Testaments, because Penetration of Sound is the root of all Buddhas teachings. All 1002 Buddhas of this Fortunate Kalpa listened to Penetration of Sound and they will teach, one after another , from the Reverberation of that same Sound of Tathagatas. Thus is this Visionary Dharma inspired by the Penetration of Sound root tantra, for which Vidyadhara Vimalamitra wrote the commentary : sgra thal 'gyur rtsa rgyud 'grel sgron ma snang byed. Sound of Vajra is Vajra speech, non-dual Sound of all Tathagatas. In the Tagdrol sacred diagram we see Vajra song with Lineage masters: Samantabhadra Yab-Yum, Vajrasattva Yab-Yum, VidyadharaGarabDorje,Manjushrimitra,Shri Singha,Jnanasutra,Vimalamitra, Guru Padmasambhava and Khandro Yeshe Tshogyal.In the middle part there are Dharma verses & the mantra from the Guru sadhana of Garab Dorje , to inspire faith & devotion for this sublime Dharma of Garab Dorje. Khyentse Chökyi Lodro (1896-1959) wrote them according to his dream-pure vision. Sound of Vajra is great Clear Light Energy of primordial state. II. Practical instructions : Listen and view with awareness. When you hear the Vajra Sound, turn your attention inward and abide in the continuity of Sound*Light of Ultimate nature (Dharma-ta). It is liberation by bare attention-remembering the meaning of the Vajra Song which is Vajra Sound, great secret energy (Dang) of primordial state. Samadhi(contemplation, ting nge´dzin) of Sound was taught by Vidyadhara Vimalamitra (Drimé Shenyen) who is abiding at Wutai Shan mountains of China. Guru Rinpoche gave further advice how to practice supreme Path of Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo :Descend with the view and ascend with the conduct. May thus all meditators become vegetarians, saving themselves, the planet and all beings. Vidyadhara Shri Singha also advised not to practice Dzogchen with self-centered ambitions. May we all be in the state of commitment to what is indestructible Vajrasattva Sound of Vajra.
III.Dedicated to all Masters who taught us great completeness of Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo, esp.Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche, H.H. the Dalai Lama, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and many others. On July 19, 2014 at Padma Samye Ling during the Annual PBC Summer Dzogchen Retreat, Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche taught the essence of the Jewel Garland of Four Dharmas by the great master Longchenpa.
1. Bless my mind to turn towards the Dharma.
2. Bless my Dharma practice to follow the path.
3. Bless my path to be free of delusion.
4. Bless me that all delusion be transformed into wisdom.
The Jewel Garland of Four Dharmas is the condensed practice manual of the nine vehicles to enlightenment including sutra, tantra, and Dzogchen, describing their view, meditation, conduct, and fruition. It does this primarily by explaining the techniques used at each of these stages for removing confusion about the abiding nature of reality, and revealing the inherent purity of oneself and all phenomena.
Longchen Rabjam Drime Ozer' (1308-1364), was the reincarnation of Princess Pemasal, the daughter of King Trisong Deutsen and direct student of Guru Rinpoche. His birth in the Tra Valley of Southern Tibet was accompanied by miraculous events and auspicious omens. He began his Dharma training at the age of seven, when he received empowerments and teachings from his father, a tantric yogi. At twelve, he took novice monastic vows at Samye monastery.
Longchenpa studied and practiced teachings from a variety of lineages and masters. He received and mastered so many teachings, in fact, that he became known as Samye Lungmangwa, the One of Samye with Many Transmissions. Though he is associated primarily with the Nyingma lineage, he also studied many teachings of the Sarma, or New Schools, including the Kalachakratantra, Chöd, and the Path and Result teachings of the Sakya lineage. He shared a particularly close relationship with the third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje, with whom he studied under the Dzogchen master Rigdzin Kumaraja.
Rigdzin Kumaraja was Longchenpa's most important master. He lived with him for two years, practicing the Dzogchen teachings of the Heart Essence of Vimalamitra under extremely harsh conditions. Rigdzin Kumaraja eventually empowered Longchenpa as the lineage holder for these teachings. Longchenpa also reawakened a connection with the Heart Essence of the Dakinis, the Dzogchen lineage of Guru Rinpoche, and practiced these teachings for years in isolated mountain retreats.
Longchen Rabjam's influence upon the Nyingma lineage is unparalleled. He united and compiled teachings concerning the two main Dzogchen Heart Essence lineages in a work entitled Four Volumes of the Heart Essence, adding three commentaries of his own to the teachings of Guru Rinpoche and Vimalamitra. He also wrote the famed Seven Treasuries, texts that present various aspects of the view, meditation, and conduct of the Nyingma school's nine vehicles.
Longchenpa passed away at the age of fifty-six. He left over 250 treatises behind, many of which are still regarded as the most comprehensive and authoritative works yet written concerning the view and practice of the Great Perfection. His most important students include the 3rd Karmapa, Rangjung Dorjé, with whom he exchanged teachings, Özer Kocha, and his son, Tülku Trakpa Özer.

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche is Supreme head of the Nyingma (the Ancient Translation School of secret mantra),1932 - March 27, 2009, The original of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in1932 in eastern Tibet, H. H. Penor Rinpoche is the emanation of the great Dzogchen master Vimalamitra. He is the 3rd Penor Rinpoche, and was enthroned as the 11th holder of the Palyul Lineage at the age of twelve. He spent four years practicing in retreat with his teacher Choktrul Rinpoche, and received all the Nyingma and Dzogchen teachings. After 1959, H. H. Penor Rinpoche came to India and re-established the Palyul Monastery in Mysore. Today 1,500 monks and nuns live, study, and practice at the monastery. He has made several trips to Tibet, where he has rebuilt the Palyul Monastery.
He was one of a very few teachers left from his generation who received all his training (in the traditional sense) in Tibet under the guidance of what Tibetan Buddhists consider to be fully enlightened teachers.

Vimalamitra (in Sanskrit) (Chinese: 無垢友 (pinyin: Wúgòuyǒu); Tibetan: དྲི་མེད་བཤེས་གཉེན་ (Drime Shenyen, Wylie: Dri-med Bshes-gnyen)), an 8th century Indian adept, is key to the history of Tibetan Buddhist Dzogchen practice. He lived equally in China, Oddiyana and Tibet, but was known as the "Sage of Kashmir". According to tradition, he was born in Western India and travelled to South India to become a disciple of Shri Singha. He was also a student of Buddhaguhya. He was invited to Tibet by emissaries of King Trisong Detsen where he established himself as a teacher and translator of Dzogchen texts and an important teacher within what centuries later came to be known as the Nyingmapa.
"Drime Shenyen" (Tibetan: དྲི་མེད་བཤེས་གཉེན་, Wylie: dri med bshes gnyen) and in devotion by the contracted "Vima" (Tibetan: བི་མ, Wylie: bi ma). Orthographic renderings of the Sanskrit differ eg. Vimilamitra and Vimalamitra.
Gyatso (1998: pp.153-154) relates how the Seventeen Tantras though not considered treasure (Wylie: gter ma) proper share in the treasure tradition as they are associated with literature first transmitted in the human realm by Vimalamitra (fl. 8th century) whose disciple, Nyangban Tingzin Zangpo, concealed them subsequent to Vimalamitra's journey to China, particularly Mount Wutai, for later discovery by Neten Dangma Lhungyal in the Eleventh Century:

He united and compiled teachings concerning the two main Dzogchen Heart Essence lineages in a work entitled Four Volumes of the Heart Essence, adding three commentaries of his own to the teachings of Guru Rinpoche and Vimalamitra. He also wrote the famed Seven Treasuries, texts that present various aspects of the view, meditation, and conduct of the Nyingma school's nine vehicles. Longchenpa passed away at the age of fifty-six. He left over 250 treatises behind, many of which are still regarded as the most comprehensive and authoritative works yet written concerning the view and practice of the Great Perfection. His most important students include the 3rd Karmapa, Rangjung Dorjé, with whom he exchanged teachings, Özer Kocha, and his son, Tülku Trakpa Özer. -

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche is Supreme head of the Nyingma (the Ancient Translation School of secret mantra),1932 - March 27, 2009, The original of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in1932 in eastern Tibet, H. H. Penor Rinpoche is the emanation of the great Dzogchen master Vimalamitra. He is the 3rd Penor Rinpoche, and was enthroned as the 11th holder of the Palyul Lineage at the age of twelve. He spent four years practicing in retreat with his teacher Choktrul Rinpoche, and received all the Nyingma and Dzogchen teachings. After 1959, H. H. Penor Rinpoche came to India and re-established the Palyul Monastery in Mysore. Today 1,500 monks and nuns live, study, and practice at the monastery. He has made several trips to Tibet, where he has rebuilt the Palyul Monastery. He was one of a very few teachers left from his generation who received all his training (in the traditional sense) in Tibet under the guidance of what Tibetan Buddhists consider to be fully enlightened teachers. Supremely Blissful Vajra Vidyadhara Garab Dorje- was 1st human master of Atiyoga*Dzogchen, born around 360 years B.C. after the Parinirvana of the Buddha. He was born at Dhanakosha in the country of Uddiyana (probably Swat valley in N Pakistan). As emanation of Sambhogakaya Buddha Vajrasattva he revealed 6.400.000 Dharmas which were later divided into Semde, Longde and Mengak-de teachings of Atiyoga*Dzogchen. Supreme Dharmas like 18 tantras of Upadesha are most sublime spiritual teachings in our galaxy. They exist in 13 other galaxies. This Dharmas will benefit beings until samsara is emptied. Garab Dorje taught 3 Testaments to his heart disciple Manjushrimitra when he was about to leave this world. Penetration of Sound root tantra (Tib. dra tal gyur) is 1st of 18 tantras it has close connection with 3 Testaments, because Penetration of Sound is the root of all Buddhas teachings. All 1002 Buddhas of this Fortunate Kalpa listened to Penetration of Sound and they will teach, one after another , from the Reverberation of that same Sound of Tathagatas. Thus is this Visionary Dharma inspired by the Penetration of Sound root tantra, for which Vidyadhara Vimalamitra wrote the commentary : sgra thal 'gyur rtsa rgyud 'grel sgron ma snang byed. Sound of Vajra is Vajra speech, non-dual Sound of all Tathagatas. In the Tagdrol sacred diagram we see Vajra song with Lineage masters: Samantabhadra Yab-Yum, Vajrasattva Yab-Yum, VidyadharaGarabDorje,Manjushrimitra,Shri Singha,Jnanasutra,Vimalamitra, Guru Padmasambhava and Khandro Yeshe Tshogyal.In the middle part there are Dharma verses & the mantra from the Guru sadhana of Garab Dorje , to inspire faith & devotion for this sublime Dharma of Garab Dorje. Khyentse Chökyi Lodro (1896-1959) wrote them according to his dream-pure vision. Sound of Vajra is great Clear Light Energy of primordial state. All ancient Masters of Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo accomplished Rainbow Body of great transfer. Thus we pray with fervent devotion. Atiyoga Lineage prayer invokes the blessings of primordialy pure Dharmakaya, Blissful Sambhogakaya and Compassionate Nirmanakaya Buddhas. Sound Vajra is the state of pure and total Presence, equally praised by all Teachers who have been the Light of the world, wrote Vidyadhara Manjushrimitra in his Dharma: Chang-chub kyi sem Gom-pa : Cultivating primordial state of pure and total presence.

II. Practical instructions : Listen and view with awareness. When you hear the Vajra Sound, turn your attention inward and abide in the continuity of Sound*Light of Ultimate nature (Dharma-ta). It is liberation by bare attention-remembering the meaning of the Vajra Song which is Vajra Sound, great secret energy (Dang) of primordial state. Samadhi(contemplation, ting nge´dzin) of Sound was taught by Vidyadhara Vimalamitra (Drimé Shenyen) who is abiding at Wutai Shan mountains of China. Guru Rinpoche gave further advice how to practice supreme Path of Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo :Descend with the view and ascend with the conduct. May thus all meditators become vegetarians, saving themselves, the planet and all beings. Vidyadhara Shri Singha also advised not to practice Dzogchen with self-centered ambitions. May we all be in the state of commitment to what is indestructible Vajrasattva Sound of Vajra.
III.Dedicated to all Masters who taught us great completeness of Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo, esp.Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche, H.H. the Dalai Lama, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and many others. On July 19, 2014 at Padma Samye Ling during the Annual PBC Summer Dzogchen Retreat, Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche taught the essence of the Jewel Garland of Four Dharmas by the great master Longchenpa.

The Jewel Garland of Four Dharmas is the condensed practice manual of the nine vehicles to enlightenment including sutra, tantra, and Dzogchen, describing their view, meditation, conduct, and fruition. It does this primarily by explaining the techniques used at each of these stages for removing confusion about the abiding nature of reality, and revealing the inherent purity of oneself and all phenomena.
Longchen Rabjam Drime Ozer' (1308-1364), was the reincarnation of Princess Pemasal, the daughter of King Trisong Deutsen and direct student of Guru Rinpoche. His birth in the Tra Valley of Southern Tibet was accompanied by miraculous events and auspicious omens. He began his Dharma training at the age of seven, when he received empowerments and teachings from his father, a tantric yogi. At twelve, he took novice monastic vows at Samye monastery.
Longchenpa studied and practiced teachings from a variety of lineages and masters. He received and mastered so many teachings, in fact, that he became known as Samye Lungmangwa, the One of Samye with Many Transmissions. Though he is associated primarily with the Nyingma lineage, he also studied many teachings of the Sarma, or New Schools, including the Kalachakratantra, Chöd, and the Path and Result teachings of the Sakya lineage. He shared a particularly close relationship with the third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje, with whom he studied under the Dzogchen master Rigdzin Kumaraja.
Rigdzin Kumaraja was Longchenpa's most important master. He lived with him for two years, practicing the Dzogchen teachings of the Heart Essence of Vimalamitra under extremely harsh conditions. Rigdzin Kumaraja eventually empowered Longchenpa as the lineage holder for these teachings. Longchenpa also reawakened a connection with the Heart Essence of the Dakinis, the Dzogchen lineage of Guru Rinpoche, and practiced these teachings for years in isolated mountain retreats.
Longchen Rabjam's influence upon the Nyingma lineage is unparalleled. He united and compiled teachings concerning the two main Dzogchen Heart Essence lineages in a work entitled Four Volumes of the Heart Essence, adding three commentaries of his own to the teachings of Guru Rinpoche and Vimalamitra. He also wrote the famed Seven Treasuries, texts that present various aspects of the view, meditation, and conduct of the Nyingma school's nine vehicles.
Longchenpa passed away at the age of fifty-six. He left over 250 treatises behind, many of which are still regarded as the most comprehensive and authoritative works yet written concerning the view and practice of the Great Perfection. His most important students include the 3rd Karmapa, Rangjung Dorjé, with whom he exchanged teachings, Özer Kocha, and his son, Tülku Trakpa Özer.

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche is Supreme head of the Nyingma (the Ancient Translation School of secret mantra),1932 - March 27, 2009, The original of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in1932 in eastern Tibet, H. H. Penor Rinpoche is the emanation of the great Dzogchen master Vimalamitra. He is the 3rd Penor Rinpoche, and was enthroned as the 11th holder of the Palyul Lineage at the age of twelve. He spent four years practicing in retreat with his teacher Choktrul Rinpoche, and received all the Nyingma and Dzogchen teachings. After 1959, H. H.
