Deadline is a fictional villain in the DC Comics universe. He first appears in the story "Deadline Doom!" in Starman #15 (October 1989).
Deadline first appears as a mercenary with a contract on Starman Will Payton. He is mentioned to be one of the best and highest paid super-mercenaries, along with Bolt. Other stories suggest that while Deadline is a master of what he does, he is not as highly regarded as, for example, Deathstroke or Deadshot.
Deadline appears as a vacationer in Bialya after it is opened up to supervillains. When the country is assisted by the Justice League, Deadline is captured by Guy Gardner.
Deadline later becomes part of a more villainous version of the Suicide Squad propping up the dictatorship in the Bermuda Triangle island of Diabloverde. His team is shown terrorizing civilians for fun. Amanda Waller and her Squad take him out along with his colleagues while attempting to remove the dictator.
During the "Underworld Unleashed" event, Deadline meets fellow mercenaries Deadshot, Merlyn the Archer, Bolt, and Chiller, and bands together with them as the Killer Elite. While operating within this group, they confront the mercenaries called 'The Body Doubles'. The entire 'Elite' suffers multiple humiliating defeats.

Bat Masterson is an American Western television series which showed a fictionalized account of the life of real-life marshal/gambler/dandy Bat Masterson. The title character was played by Gene Barry and the half-hour black-and-white shows ran on NBC from 1958 to 1961. The series was produced by Ziv Television Productions, the company responsible for hit first-run syndicated series such as Sea Hunt and Highway Patrol.
The show took a tongue-in-cheek outlook, with Barry's Masterson often dressed in expensive Eastern clothing and preferring to use his cane rather than a gun to get himself out of trouble, hence the nickname "Bat". Masterson was also portrayed as a ladies' man who traveled the West looking for women and adventure.
From 1955 to 1959, Mason Alan Dinehart played a 20-something Bat Masterson in thirty-four episodes of the ABC/Desilu western series, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, starring Hugh O'Brian as the frontier peace officer Wyatt Earp. Dinehart left the series, and Barry was hence cast as a 40-something Masterson in a separate series on a different network. In the year 1958-1959 both actors were featured in the role of Masterson.
Ultimatum is the second full-length album by the band Nightstick.
Ultimatum is a five-issue comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics under its Ultimate Marvel imprint from January 2009 to September 2009. The series, which was written by Jeph Loeb and illustrated by David Finch, tied in with all other Ultimate titles, and dealt with Magneto's attempts to destroy the world following the apparent deaths of the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in Ultimates 3. The first issue was the best-selling comic of January 2009, selling over 100,000 copies, though sales dropped with subsequent issues. Despite relatively strong sales, the series received almost universally negative reviews upon its conclusion.
The foreshadowing of the Ultimatum event began in late 2007 when Ultimate Power #8 featured a banner on its cover reading, "March on Ultimatum". The following summer, a teaser advertisement for Ultimatum ran in all Marvel titles. It depicted a broken tombstone reading 2000-2008, with the 2008 piece broken from its place, indicating that the Ultimate Universe would be ending that year. In an interview on YouTube, artist David Finch said that Loeb would be bringing much to all of the Ultimate Universe to a close.
Ultimatum is a 2009 French-Italian-Israeli drama film directed by Alain Tasma.

On Monday, Egypt's military issued an ultimatum to President Morsi: step down or we'll take over. Though Morsi has rejected this ultimatum, the clock is still ticking. Now joining us to give us a sense of what's happening on the ground are our two guests. We have Rania Al Malky, who is the publisher of the Egypt Monacle and the former editor of Daily News Egypt, which was the partner of The International Herald Tribune. We also have Mohamed ElMeshad, who is a Cairo-based independent journalist who wrote for Egypt Independent for two years and is joining us from Cairo.
The ultimatum was delivered at 6pm by the Austro-Hungarian ambassador to Belgrade, with a deadline of 48 hours within which the Serbian government had to respond. They accepted all but one of the numerous demands, which led Austria-Hungary to declare war three days later on 28th July. Austria-Hungary had been concerned about the growing power of Serbia, and was keen to find a way to weaken the government and stop it taking over the Southern Slavic populations of the northern Balkans, and especially Bosnia, under the banner of pan-Slavism. To the government officials who favoured war, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, on the 28th June was the perfect excuse. Following the assassination, Germany had given Austria-Hungary assurances that...
