Today trip was going to
London and back, focus on the good things that happened on my trip and also the somewhat mistakes and disappointments but honestly it's life
Journey was suppose to start at
Rugeley Town, my train was running
11 minutes late and would got to
Rugeley Trent Valley at 0747 which my train to London was at 0748 and ended up getting a taxi but as soon as I got to Rugeley Trent Valley the Shrewbury to
Rugeley was 11 late but soon gain some time back and got to Rugeley Trent Valley before 0745 but I ended up catching my train worked by a
London Midland Class 350 and went to London.
Once at London I went on the
Victoria Line worked by 2009
Tube Stock and was going towards
Walthamstow Central but after I got off at Euston, I had to get off at
Kings Cross/St. Pancras due to a earlier signal fault and got another 2009 Tube Stock to
Blackhorse Road, the reasoon was to get two GBRF
Class 66s on a
Rail Head Treatment Train on a
Broxbourne circler working, these Sheds were 66726 and 66745.
Then I rushed across from Blackhorse Road to
London Marylebone for a second
RHTT, changing at Kings Cross/St. Pancras and then boarded a
Circle Line S8 Stock from Kings Cross/St. Pancras to
Baker Street and then caught the
Bakerloo Line worked by
1972 Tube Stock to
Marylebone and once at London Marylebone, filmed 66019 and 66017 departing to
Aylesbury.
next I went to Harrow-on-the-Hill, which I took the 1113 London Marylebone to Aylesbury which travels alongside the
Metropolitan and
Jubilee lines and as soon as I got to Harrow-on-the-Hill, I waited for the Class
117 DMU or Class 960 but it didn't show up and ended up leaving on a
Metropolitan Line S8 Stock to
Finchley Road to change onto the
1996 Tube Stock on the
Jubilee Line to
London Waterloo. After getting off the tube train at
Waterloo, you see
Platform edge doors which are used on the
Jubilee Line Extension to stop people falling onto the tracks and this also be used between
Paddington and
Liverpool Street or
Whitechapel when Crossrail starts running. But the reason was not to come to this station to admire the Platform edge doors or
PED, to board a
South West Trains to 1252 2S35 to
Weybridge worked by 450005 & 450006 but the reason I travelled on this train was to get to
Queenstown Road Battersea, I got off the train and filmed train passing through for an hour (this will be youtube video 'Trains at Queenstown Road Battersea' when uploaded)
After an hour, I boarded a late running
Class 455 to
Clapham Junction to change trains, I was thinking about going to
Battersea Park to catch a Class 73
Test train to
London Victoria, but change plans and went to
Wandsworth Common but noticed I made a huge mistake because the Test train was on the fast lines which were blocked up, so I ended up boarded a
Class 377 and went to London Victoria but on arrival, the Test Train departed early and decided to go back to Harrow-on-the-Hill to see if the
Chiltern Railways Class 117 DMU was going to make an appearance, travelled to
Green Park on the Victoria Line 2009 Tube Stock and then travelled on the Jubilee Line 1996 Tube Stock from Green Park to Finchley Road, then I boarded a
Metropolitan Line all stopper service to
Watford but got off at
Preston Park to waste a bit of time and film some S8 Stock but I boarded a Metropolitan Line S8 Stock and arrived at Harrow-on-the-Hill.
Once 4pm hit, had that feeling of disappointment that I didn't think the Chiltern Railways Class 117 DMU which was used as a Water-cannon unit, after filming Metropolitan Line S8 Stock 21009 & 21010, it soon arrived into Harrow-on-the-Hill about 10 minutes late.
The Unit was numbered 960301 and after it departed, I boarded a Chiltern Railways
Class 165 DMU back to London Marylebone and see two
DB Schenker Class 67 Diesel Locomotives, 67017
Arrow and 67018
Keith Heller but I accidentally said '
Sir Keith Park' so apologise but the little mistake.
But the Class 67 are soon to be replaced by the brand new
Class 68 Diesel Locomotives, after filming 67107 departing on the 1647 to
Birmingham Moor Street, I took the Bakerloo Line 1972 Tube Stock to Baker Street and boarded a Metropolitan Line service to Liverpool Street to look around and then went to
London Kings Cross to see
East Coast Trains Class 91, 9111
For the Fallen and filmed it on 1D27 1833 to
Bradford Forster Square and then it was back to
London Euston for my train which was
Virgin Trains Class 390, 390104
Alstom Pendolino working 1943 to
Birmingham New Street.
At
Birmingham I arrived late but still managed to catch the
2117 to Rugeley Town on route a fight broke out between two drunks and the train was forced to stop at
Witton which lead to one drunk getting off a Witton even know the 2117 does not stop at Witton! and the other drunk got off at
Walsall with a girl and arrived back at Rugeley Town 12 minutes late and ended the show a little angry but do apologise about the swearing, filmed
