Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an American animated television series created by Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network Studios. The series, set in a world in which imaginary friends coexist with humans, centers on an eight-year-old boy, Mac, who is pressured by his mother to abandon his imaginary friend, Bloo. After Mac discovers an orphanage dedicated to housing abandoned imaginary friends, Bloo moves into the home and is kept from adoption so long as Mac visits him daily. The episodes revolve around Mac and Bloo as they interact with other imaginary friends and house staff and live out their day-to-day adventures, often getting caught up in various predicaments.
McCracken conceived the series after adopting two dogs from an animal shelter and applying the concept to imaginary friends. The show first premiered on Cartoon Network on August 13, 2004, as a 90-minute television film. On August 20, it began its normal run of twenty-to-thirty-minute episodes on Fridays, at 7 pm. The series finished its run on May 3, 2009, with a total of six seasons and seventy-nine episodes. McCracken left Cartoon Network shortly after the series ended.
Corinne Rey (born 21 August 1982) is a French cartoonist who publishes under the pen name Coco.
Corinne Rey was born 21 August 1982 in Annemasse in south-eastern France. Under the pen name "Coco" she has published in periodicals such as Charlie Hebdo, Les Inrockuptibles, and L'Écho des savanes. Public figures such as politicians Dominique Strauss-Kahn and François Hollande are frequent targets of her political cartoons. She has won a number of awards for her cartooning.
Rey has worked for Charlie Hebdo since 2009, where she did editing and contributed editorial cartoons. She was present at the 2015 massacre at the Charlie Hebdo offices in which twelve were killed. On 7 January 2015, two masked gunmen approached her at the building that houses the Charlie Hebdo offices. They threatened to kill her if she did not enter the passcode to enter the building. They took her to the Charlie Hebdo on the second floor, where she witnessed them kill cartoonists Georges Wolinski and Cabu as she hid under a desk. The gunmen proceeded to another room and fired on the fifteen people in a meeting in progress.
Coco is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat. The album was released on July 17, 2007 in the United States, debuting at number 5 on the Billboard 200, selling 51,000 copies in its first week. It also became Caillat's best-selling album, to date, selling 2,100,000 copies in the United States and over 3,000,000 copies around the world. Caillat supported the album with the Coco World Tour.
The album was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA with shipments to U.S. retailers of 2,000,000 units. The album's first single, a smash hit, was "Bubbly", followed by a second single, "Realize", and the third, "The Little Things", which became the final single from the album in the United States. The deluxe edition song, "Somethin' Special (Beijing Olympic Mix)", was released as fourth single on July 29, to give support to the American athletes participating in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. The song also appeared on the AT&T Team USA Soundtrack.
Mirrorwriting is the debut studio album by British singer-songwriter Jamie Woon. It was released in Europe on 18 April 2011 through Polydor Records. The album started to receive hype after Woon ended fourth on BBC's Sound of 2011 poll. It was preceded by the lead single, "Night Air" on 22 October 2010.
Paul Clarke of BBC Music gave the album a positive review by saying: "Things would probably be quite different for Woon had he’d got his act together sooner. In 2007, his fragile cover of an old folk spiritual placed him pretty much alone at the crossroads between rural blues and urban electronica, a 20-something Robert Johnson from London who’d sold his soul to dubstep instead of the Devil. Today, though, he shares this space with The xx and James Blake; and overshadowed by The xx’s Mercury Prize victory and Blake’s own debut album of earlier in 2011, Woon’s music could now be in danger of sounding wearily familiar rather than darkly mysterious".

The station was built on October 1, 1893, and despite the name of the line was actually located on Third Avenue and 40th Street. It was the northernmost station on Third Street before the line shifted to the street that bore its name. The para (Cyrillic: пара, from Turkish para, from Persian pārah, "piece" ) was a former currency of the Ottoman Empire, Turkey, Montenegro, Albania and Yugoslavia and is the current subunit, although rarely used, of the Serbian dinar.
As a former Ottoman and Turkish currency, it was 1/40 of a kuruş or, earlier, 3 akçe, which was, in turn, 1/100 of a Turkish lira. The modern Turkish lira is only divided into kuruş. In Serbia, the para has been the subunit of the dinar since the 19th century. The Montenegrin perper was subdivided into 100 pare during its brief existence between 1906 and 1918. In Albania, the para was used as a currency before the introduction of the Albanian lek in 1926.
In Albanian, Greek, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Romanian, Serbian and Turkish, para or its plural παράδες, pari, pare, parale, parai, paraja or paralar is a generic term for "money".
