Kashrut (also kashruth or kashrus, כַּשְׁרוּת) is the set of Jewish religious dietary laws. Food that may be consumed according to halakha (Jewish law) is termed kosher /ˈkoʊʃər/ in English, from the Ashkenazi pronunciation of the Hebrew term kashér (כָּשֵׁר), meaning "fit" (in this context, fit for consumption).
Among the numerous laws that form part of kashrut are the prohibitions on the consumption of unclean animals (such as pork, shellfish (both Mollusca and Crustacea) and most insects, with the exception of certain species of kosher locusts), mixtures of meat and milk, and the commandment to slaughter mammals and birds according to a process known as shechita. There are also laws regarding agricultural produce that might impact on the suitability of food for consumption.
Most of the basic laws of kashrut are derived from the Torah's Books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Their details and practical application, however, are set down in the oral law (eventually codified in the Mishnah and Talmud) and elaborated on in the later rabbinical literature. While the Torah does not state the rationale for most kashrut laws, many reasons have been suggested, including philosophical, practical and hygienic.
Zakir Naik (born 18 October 1965 in Mumbai, India) is an Indian Islamic preacher, who has been called an "authority on comparative religion", "perhaps the most influential Salafi ideologue in India", and "the world's leading Salafi evangelist". He is the founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), and founder of the "comparative religion" Peace TV channel, through which he reaches a reported 100 million viewers. Unlike many Islamic preachers, his lectures are colloquial, given in English not Urdu or Arabic, and he wears a suit and tie rather than traditional garb.
Before becoming a public speaker, he trained as a medical doctor. He has published booklet versions of lectures on Islam and comparative religion. Although he has publicly disclaimed sectarianism in Islam, he is regarded by some as an exponent of the Salafi ideology, and, by some, as a radical Islamic televangelist propagating Wahhabism.
Zakir Naik was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He attended Kishinchand Chellaram College and studied medicine at Topiwala National Medical College and Nair Hospital and later the University of Mumbai, where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).

Kosher is not a style of cooking, nor does it imply that a Rabbi blesses the food in some way. The Hebrew word "kosher" means "fit, correct or proper." The term kosher has become synonymous with purity, quality and high standards of preparation. The process of certification involves examining the ingredients used to make the food, examining the process by which the food is prepared, and periodically inspecting the processing facilities to make sure that kosher standards are maintained. 18+older. We are outside for a couple dabs of some Kosher Kush! We posted some pics to the instaslam and people were calling this oil dark. There is a double layer in some spots making it a darker shade but the oil itself looks pretty good. The Kosher Kush is an indica with a heavy, relaxed, sleepy high. Flavors are earthy, pungent, and sweet. We have our Nexus pucks cleaned up and ready for action. We take a small dab first from the black lipped medium puck which gets a nice and buzzed. We finish by blowing a fat cloud from our full size puck! Enjoy!!! LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE!!!!! ☆ SHARE ☆ SHARE ☆ SHARE ☆ ☆ SHARE ☆ SHARE ☆ SHARE ☆

Are halal and kosher slaughter humane and merciful or brutal and barbaric? Sparking controversy on an international scale, the debate over ritual slaughter is a hotbed of religion, politics, dietary practice, corporate greed, systematic abuses, and special interests. In all of this noise and confusion, the core question remains: is it even possible to end the life of another being in a way that is kind? ▶︎➤ SHARE far & wide on all platforms! ▶︎➤FEATURED VIDEOS & RESOURCES: ➣ The History Of Veganism: http://bitesizevegan.com/VeganHistory ➣ Ancient Times (Includes Judaism): http://bit.ly/AncientVegans ➣ Middle Ages (Includes Islam): http://bit.ly/AncientVegans ➣ The Myth Of Humane Slaughter: http://bit.ly/TheNicestWayToDie ➣ The Greatest Lie Ever Told: http://bit.ly/GreatestLie ➣ Holocaus...
In this episode of Soul Food, our host Kiran Deol heads over to LA’s Kosher Corridor to get wise to the ways one can keep it kosher. She gets schooled by the local butcher, and discovers that today’s kosher food and drink is much more than just matzo balls and sweet, syrupy wine. Kosher cuisine can be contemporary, or really any style of food—be it burritos or a lamb belly “bacon” sandwich with homemade sriracha—as long as one follows strict kosher guidelines. Kiran’s exploration of where the spirit meets the stomach ends with an insightful invite for a Friday night sampling of a Shabbat dinner. You’re a different person from face to face.
That’s great acting, but where’s your stage?
Always ranting and raving without a clue.
All I ask for is some occasional truth.
(I know it won’t kill you.)
If you could see what I see hypocrite catastrophe.
If you could see what I see, try learning some fucking civility.
Maybe you should try representing what you speak.
You’ll find your own existence is what’s so very depressing.
No ones aiming to please? Give me a break!
You’re breeding your own demise while becoming what you hate.
If you could see what I see, hypocrite catastrophe.
