Plot: Lionel, a Mama's boy has the unwanted honor of having to look after his overbearingly evil mother. He ends up falling in love with a local woman who believes that they're destined together. In a moment of intentional sabotage of one of their dates, his mother is bitten by a mysterious creature that ends up zombifying her. It's only a matter of time before she rises from the dead a powerful, bloodthirsty zombie. It's only a matter of time before she starts infecting residents of the town and Lionel has to stop her...and them.

Plot: It's 1882 on the Barbary Coast. Charlie Malloy aka the Dirtwater Fox, makes his living cheating at cards. His latest venture however is stealing $40,000 from a bunch of outlaws. Bluebird, a saloon performer and prostitute, wants an easy life. When a Mormon, Josiah Widdicombe, comes to town, Bluebird has the idea that being the seventh wife of a Mormon would be a good life - she only has to work once every seven days. She steals Malloy's bag with the money, unaware of the amount inside. She only wants enough to buy a dress to masquerade as a duchess for Widdicombe. The ruse works. On Bluebird's way to Salt Lake City, Malloy catches up with her. Although Bluebird still has every intention of becoming a Mormon wife, the two decide to partner on the scheme of Mormon riches. All the while, the outlaws are on their tail after their $40,000.

Plot: A group of new police recruits takes to patrolling the streets of Los Angeles. Roy Fehler is a law student with a family and has joined the LAPD until he can complete his degree. He's partnered with veteran patrolman Kilvinski and they soon develop a good rapport. On the street the policemen are exposed to the seedier side of life but Kilvinski is a fair cop and a good teacher. Over time however, Fehler comes to love the work and both his family and his studies fall by the wayside. Kilvinsky retires and Fehler loses his way, drinking heavily. Fehler's wife leaves him and he soon hits bottom. Just as he begins to get his life in order, fate intervenes.

Plot: Millicent Hopkins, while touring with a dancing troupe in 1892, meets Clive Loring who is campaigning in the English Midlands for Parliament. They fall in love and Millie remains behind at the home of her father while her friend, Rose Bridges and the rest of the company go to London. Lord Belmont, Clive's older brother, tells Millie that a marriage below Clive's station will jeopardize his future happiness. She resolves to drop out of his life and, without telling him, rejoins the troupe at the Empire Theatre. Mille and Rose, leaving the theatre without removing their makeup, are stopped and questioned by a bobby. They flee and Millie takes refuge in the rooms of a sympathetic stranger, Jose Martinez, a Spanish concert pianist, where she remains most of the night. The next morning, a Scotland Yard Inspector arrives and arrests Martinez.
