Naked Attraction viewers are left shocked by full-frontal nudity in a racy new Channel 4 dating show that sees contestants baring all in a bid to find love. Naked Attraction really works as both contestants find love on Channel 4's nude dating show. A new dating show that lets potential suitors see each other naked, before they actually meet in person has prompted a mountain of tweets, from shocked viewers after the first episiode aired. Channel 4's Naked Attraction saw contestants stripped bare, apparently to explore the science of 'raw primitive attraction' and hopefully find love, but viewers were more fixated on the nudity than any potential romances. Hosted by Anna Richardson, the steamy show left viewers blushing and even questioning, why they were watching such a programme. The basic concept of the show sees a male, and female picker faced with six bodies from the waist down to the toes. Each singleton is then invited to reject the physiques that they don't feel enticed by, explaining their choices as they go. They will then reveal their final selection, before heading out on a 'clothed' date to see if their initial instinct was correct. But it was a televisual idea too far for many people, who took to social media to slam the show. NJ Weatherburn posted: 'Just stumbled across C4's latest offering 'Naked Attraction'. Jesus. Makes Tinder look like arranged marriage. What is wrong with people?' daryl millar added: 'Just caught the end of Naked Attraction on C4. Yet more proof that we are living in the end times.' LJ Davies 42 was lost for words: Just checked out Naked Attraction on C4 +1 to see what all the fuss was about on Twitter. What the' NeilA ‏kept it simple, saying: 'Naked Attraction on C4. No words.' Others compared it to previous dating shows that have featured on television. ‏rhymerrig by wrote: Watching c 4's Naked Attraction which is like Blind Date with full nudity. Reminds me of the ideas Viz's Roger Mellie used to come up with. In the first episode of the show, which aired at 10pm on Monday, Aina, a music producer from London, wants to find someone adventurous who she can forge a deeper connection with. Meanwhile, Guildford based designer Mal who has dated both men and women, is intrigued to see who she will be drawn to when all options are laid bare before her. It appears that Anna Richardson was the perfect pick for host, as she says nudity doesn't bother her in the slightest. 'I couldn’t give two hoots if people are naked if your boobs, and willies are swinging about, it kind of breaks the ice.' The programme was the brainchild of Studio Lambert, which is behind TV favourites Gogglebox, Undercover Boss and Tattoo Fixers. Apparently producers launched an appeal via social media to find contestants, but it proved a rather tricky task finding willing participants. The source added: 'It’s quite tough to get people to agree as it’s their dignity on the line.' Naked Attraction isn't the only nude themed dating show to hit the screens as of late. Undressed, which has already been a hit in Italy, launched in the UK on TLC last week. The series sees matched up couples strip one another to their underwear, on their first meeting and then jump into bed together.
