They were pleasantly surprised to find that they were not housed in the usual regulation apartments. Instead, they were allocated a lovely colonial style bungalow within the cantonment limits. Shyam rang up his friends to tell them about the house ... A covered verandah formed the front of the house. The verandah led into the drawing room, which was large and well lit by the two windows on either side ... The temperature dropped....
