Surprisingly, this museum has perhaps the best selection of dinosaur fossils and full skeletal paleontological displays in all of Montana. The Glendive Dinosaur & Fossil Museum is in fact the second-largest museum in the state (next to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman). This museum does however have an interesting twist in that it presents its information from a very different world view than is commonly associated with most fossil museums. This museum offers an explanation of a 'special creation' world view. The idea presented here is that life exists due to the work of the God of the ancient Hebrew Scriptures rather than by spontaneous generation and gradual Darwinian evolution over eons. The museum also shows various displays of very interesting artifacts of human antiquity that visually depict various types of dragons or dinosaurs in their ancient artwork. Whether you have a uniformitarian view of geology, are an evolutionist with a higher educational standing, a young earth creationist, an agnostic, no matter what religious affiliation (if any), this museum is definitely worth visiting as it is something quite unique. It definately stimulates ones curiosities and provokes various thoughts, and thats always healthy no matter what side of the isle you come from.
